Bro...your song hit me to the core... I had a rough past, drugs, brawls, used to be in a gang... got saved in 2015, God delivered me from all of this and still to this day.. I can't grasp God's love towards a sinner like me.. I usually try not to listen to that kind of music cuz for me it sometimes brings me back to some memories but for this one, it made me cry and made me remember the day I got saved... nothing is impossible to God. He made me see life in colors when before, I used to see in in black and white.. Praise the Lord for a forgiving God.
Bro I feel that, I was in that same situation but when I got saved I was about to end it all, gun to my head and by Gods grace I lived, I remember the room going dark and the gun turning to dust, then he spoke these simple words that saved me, "NO I have much more for you" and as he said my life was given back to me, my addictions gone!, my want for harm gone!, I left the gang which as you know isn't so easy but I gave that all up because God had more for me than being some broken down guy who was going no where, God truly is great and I'll proclaim that all day long, tell your story to others too because I know with my story God has saved at least 13 people. Oceans ia a powerfull song, that we can sing like a prayer, but this rap in the middle of the song seems to translate into words the feelings of our soul and spirit in relation to Jesus and his salvation. I listen to this song almost every day, it has the ability to fill and complete my prayer in an inexplicable way. Glory to God.
