I was 5 years old in a church service the pastor asked for prayers for this boy that went into seizures and had cancer nobody came up so god told me to go pray for him so I did come to find parents called 2 months later said he was cancer free and never went into seizures again I sure love god and jesus

my mom got cancer again too its her second time and its horrible seeing her go through this again. They give her medicine every 2 weeks she goes through chemo again too and all i can do is pray and let the fathers will be done in jesus name. But im praying for you aswell i hate to see another parent like that and her children going through pain too.

In May of this year I lost my dad to cancer. 2 weeks before that, I found out I was pregnant. Life was so so difficult. The baby's father left me and told me to fix it meaning abort the baby. I couldn't get myself to do that. In the midst of losing my dad and knowing the thought of being a single mother I was struggling but I know God has braced me to hold on a little longer. I am now, almost 30 weeks pregnant and it has been so worth all of it. ❤ this song spoke so much to me.

I was born with torticollos and the therapy lady said I will never get better and my dad took me to a church and they prayed and I got better the next day. My great grandma is a religious woman and she is almost 90 and she is still walking around without help or anything and she is still so beautiful and healthy and she still works she talks and acts like she is in her twenties. This song keeps my spirit lifted every time I fall into deep depression. My children and I used to listen to Lecrae everyday. May 12th 2017 I lost 3 out of 4 of my children in a house fire. Everything that reminded me of them I put on the back burner. It was this year when I picked those things back up and I heard this song. This song reminds me of when my wife ended up in a coma due to an amniotic fluid embolism. She ended up in a coma right after the birth. The Doctors told me it would be best to disconnect here but I didn’t accept that. I had so much faith I held on I had so much faith I felt I could move mountains and I always know God is Alpha and Omega he chooses when she would go and God heard my prayers and the other people as well that we’re praying for her she came back after 4 cardiac arrests it’s a long testimony but God is so great. Because of him she’s alive and we went through the fire.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything but I think it's critical that people who think this way AS I ONCE DID ALSO, also are in danger from going to hell because they have been misled . I also use to belief by asking him into my heart, then I was saved...I know alot of pastors who even say it... but the truth is , asking Jesus into your heart was something that was made up, to make it seem more powerful and real that you could ask Jesus into your heart. But it is absolutely NOWHERE IN SCRIPTURE. A powerful pastor and man of God pointed this out to me a while back, and it made me realize just how misleading and dangerous this is... other than the scripture I'm about to tell you, this scripture that is also dangerous for many relating to the subject, says that teachers and pastors will be held accountable to a higher standard for everything that they teach others , this means that there are actually millions of people who also believe this, and have been misled instead of someone telling them the truth of what scripture says... and it hurts my heart to know that there are millions of people that don't actually know just as myself once was unaware, that this is not the way to be saved and to have salvation and to be able to inherit the kingdom of God.. Scripture says in order for someone to be saved they must ... REPENT!(Turn away from sin) ..and BELIEVE.. in the (Gospel of Jesus(Being the true Son of God)dying for our sins and being rose on the third day)!...and having FAITH (BELIEVE In Jesus without seeing Him) ALSO.. a lot of people think that repenting is only asking for forgiveness, but the truth is when you repent... you are acknowledging your sin is wrong, And to regret/remorse and turning away from your sin.. I do I'm older ans my prognosis is bleek I can't even have surgery because I have a terminal genetic lung disease .. this song has a very specific meaning. My heart and lungs aren't able to make it through a surgery if I needed emerge Cy surgery there is only a 5 to 15% I'd survive ir . But my stomach no longer works. So I need q deeming tube bad ans there afraid to touch me.

Steph Anie I'd hate to ruin your mood expressed, but technically backslides aren't Christians because Christian means to be Christ like. For example, to do something outside of God's will is not Christ like, therefore not Christian. Just wanted to clarify because people tend to see God as having the characteristics of those who merely claim to be Christian and are the opposite. It hurts more than help when one lies about being a Christian.

Thank you for this comment,. I've been thinking about restarting a music project. I recorded a few songs in the past, the music turned out well, but the experience was negative. This was 6 years ago, never really recorded after that. My passion is to create music that speaks to people who are on the fence, people who are trying to get things right with God. To me 'Christian' or church music is ok but it doesn't reach the ones who are lost. In Caribbean where I'm from there's reggae, soca, dancehall etc, basically happy music but it's all worldly. Church music here is gospel reggae, most songs do not speak to the lost tho. So someone who has backslided may feel alone because the worldly music/culture is about party and sex and the church music is about praise God he is good. To that person they aren't in any of those spaces and music is a tool to help them deal with those thoughts and emotions. So I'll try to make songs like this. God bless you and be strong!

I survived my abuser of two years. I somehow got out. I thought it would be easier to die than it was to live. I hoped that he’d kill me or I’d escape. That was 12 years ago. I still struggle but telling my story and watching women escape is the best reward for making it out of that hellhole. You are not what happened to you. You have a story many girls and women have. We are not alone. We were never meant to live a life if depression, or torment, of struggle, of flashbacks. Jesus took that away from us when he died. I constantly struggle with triggers but it’s because satan knows my weakness but the battle is already won. Don’t give up. Find healthy habits. share your story and help other girls and women. my mom got cancer again too its her second time and its horrible seeing her go through this again. They give her medicine every 2 weeks she goes through chemo again too and all i can do is pray and let the fathers will be done in jesus name. In May of this year I lost my dad to cancer. 2 weeks before that, I found out I was pregnant. Life was so so difficult. The baby's father left me and told me to fix it meaning abort the baby. I couldn't get myself to do that. In the midst of losing my dad and knowing the thought of being a single mother I was struggling but I know God has braced me to hold on a little longer. I am now, almost 30 weeks pregnant and it has been so worth all of it. ❤ this song spoke so much to me.
I know to well the struggle I have five children and a single mom and my son father told me to abort him at first but 12 yrs later my son is alive and now he have a relationship with his father. I was born with torticollos and the therapy lady said I will never get better and my dad took me to a church and they prayed and I got better the next day. This song keeps my spirit lifted every time I fall into deep depression. My children and I used to listen to Lecrae everyday. May 12th 2017 I lost 3 out of 4 of my children in a house fire. Everything that reminded me of them I put on the back burner. It was this year when I picked those things back up and I heard this song. This song reminds me of when my wife ended up in a coma due to an amniotic fluid embolism. She ended up in a coma right after the birth. The Doctors told me it would be best to disconnect here but I didn’t accept that. I'm not trying to be rude or anything but I think it's critical that people who think this way AS I ONCE DID ALSO, also are in danger from going to hell because they have been misled . I also use to belief by asking him into my heart, then I was saved...I know alot of pastors who even say it... but the truth is , asking Jesus into your heart was something that was made up, to make it seem more powerful and real that you could ask Jesus into your heart. But it is absolutely NOWHERE IN SCRIPTURE. A powerful pastor and man of God pointed this out to me a while back, and it made me realize just how misleading and dangerous this is... other than the scripture I'm about to tell you, this scripture that is also dangerous for many relating to the subject, says that teachers and pastors will be held accountable to a higher standard for everything that they teach others , this means that there are actually millions of people who also believe this, and have been misled instead of someone telling them the truth of what scripture says... and it hurts my heart to know that there are millions of people that don't actually know just as myself once was unaware, that this is not the way to be saved and to have salvation and to be able to inherit the kingdom of God..

I do I'm older ans my prognosis is bleek I can't even have surgery because I have a terminal genetic lung disease .. this song has a very specific meaning. My heart and lungs aren't able to make it through a surgery if I needed emerge Cy surgery there is only a 5 to 15% I'd survive ir . But my stomach no longer works. So I need q deeming tube bad ans there afraid to touch me.

Steph Anie I'd hate to ruin your mood expressed, but technically backslides aren't Christians because Christian means to be Christ like. For example, to do something outside of God's will is not Christ like, therefore not Christian. Just wanted to clarify because people tend to see God as having the characteristics of those who merely claim to be Christian and are the opposite. It hurts more than help when one lies about being a Christian.

Thank you for this comment,. I've been thinking about restarting a music project. I recorded a few songs in the past, the music turned out well, but the experience was negative. This was 6 years ago, never really recorded after that. My passion is to create music that speaks to people who are on the fence, people who are trying to get things right with God. To me 'Christian' or church music is ok but it doesn't reach the ones who are lost. In Caribbean where I'm from there's reggae, soca, dancehall etc, basically happy music but it's all worldly. Church music here is gospel reggae, most songs do not speak to the lost tho. So someone who has backslided may feel alone because the worldly music/culture is about party and sex and the church music is about praise God he is good. To that person they aren't in any of those spaces and music is a tool to help them deal with those thoughts and emotions. So I'll try to make songs like this. God bless you and be strong!

I survived my abuser of two years. I somehow got out. I thought it would be easier to die than it was to live. I hoped that he’d kill me or I’d escape. That was 12 years ago. I still struggle but telling my story and watching women escape is the best reward for making it out of that hellhole. You are not what happened to you. You have a story many girls and women have. We are not alone. We were never meant to live a life if depression, or torment, of struggle, of flashbacks. Jesus took that away from us when he died. I constantly struggle with triggers but it’s because satan knows my weakness but the battle is already won. Don’t give up. Find healthy habits. share your story and help other girls and women. Be their eyes when they cry silent tears, be their ears when they scream beneath their breath. Read similar stories of triumph. Find a way to heal through this, be empowered. Look up Annie Lobert and The Destiny house, read her book ‘Fallen’. There is so much future for you. The people who abuse us probably suffer more than we do. Keep your head up homegirl.
