I'm not a religious person but I've been Lecrae for about 5 years. While I do admit Lecrae's music about God/Jesus has made me believe in at least some powerful being watching over us, it more importantly has guided me on my journey to be a better human being to all my fellow brothers and sisters.

My nephew Kyron is 7. He is of mixed race, Caucasian and African American. He loves RAP and can sing very well. He was listening to mainstream rap, watching videos. I was disturbed by that. I directed him to Lacrae. He loves this song. He has had a rough life already. His dad never wanted to be in his life and has not been. My niece, his mother is struggling with drug addiction. She is signing over custody to my my nephew, her brother. I am very sad but I feel it is best for him. My nephew has been taking care of him 50 percent with grandma doing the other 50 percent. He is a very difficult child but not his fault really. I pray for him everyday. My heart aches for him. I am gonna be in his life as much as I can and try to get him to church. He wants to go. This song really helps give me hope. Thanks Lacrae. Much love.

Hey Lecrae just wanted to give a shout out to you. Your music has helped me out in so many ways. The craziest thing is I remember being locked up and I felt like my life was over and that's when I heard your music and while I was locked up I was made lead singer in there. I love to sing but I was in turmoil but after hearing your music your first song I heard was Jesus music. After I heard that song everything changed my perspective on genre and music I never thought that Christian music could sound like that and that's when I started diving towards your way and started focusing on some of your music and then I started diving deep and listening to the words cuz my mother told me to now I hear this song drown and so I just realized that even people who look like they're superheroes to others in a way of inspiration and motivation sometimes even they feel like they're drowning so yes definitely keeping you in my prayers. Why is everyone still, after all these years, criticizing Lecrae for expanding and growing? I for one will always support him and appreciate his attempt at a wider audience. He doesn’t need to fit into a box to be a Christian, and Jesus didn’t come for perfect people either.

My family has had so much loss. As a mama I could not put into words how I have been feeling and this song did it for me. Upon watching this video, here's my thought; 2020 seems very a tough year for all of us. Tragedy, pandemic, lots of opportunities, people hurt and died. It seems to feel like the world we live in keep us drowning by what's happening right now. But, let us sinking deep by seeking the Lord every day. Everything happens for a reason. It hurts, yes, but hey loves, God is good! He is in control. We might not understand, but God will reveal Himself, His purpose and reasons why these things are happening. Now, live the moment, cherish it with our loved ones, be brave enough to face tomorrow with God.

I've been heavily depressed and trapped inside my head since this year have started and I have nobody to share or talk about it so I see no hopes in myself and I am trying to holding on something inside me to stay alive but it's hard and I actually can't and I wish I had somebody to talk about it because I never share it with anyone but this time it's getting tougher and harder and I see no choice except suicide.
@@mustafajamali9 i know it's really hard, and we feel that the world is so cruel to us. But hey, if you need someone to talk to, i'm more than willing. I don't know how long you're dealing with that, but one thing i know for sure, suicide ia not the solution.
@@chelycalamba It's been years I've been dealing it over and over again but it's getting worse every single day and I can't explain how much messed up my past is but only thing I can say that I am traumatized till now from my past along by losing people such as friends and family members.

A few days ago I was hit spiritually and had to realize it’s God in control and to stop doubting myself. Parents today just have children just cause....and I told myself, until I am the best version of myself...and am proud of the person I become...and cure myself of ALL my illnesses....physically, mentally and emotionally so that my child doesnt suffer from generational curses/illnesses...then will I have a child.
