    There is something wrong with the RUclips algorithm. I would search Acting and your channel doesn't shownup anywhere near the top. You have the best acting youtube channel. what is up with that? -- Also what is your opinion on when a casting director sends you the sides for a character you would live to play, but it's ridiculously long like 7-12 pages (or sometimes you're sent the entire whole script of the short film) just for the self-tape? In my opinion, it's not professional. Would love if you made a video on this as it does happen quite often.

      Unfortunately this does happen. Honestly, you just have to make time and do what you can. You can also ask casting if they have any specific scenes in mind, or if anything is only for an "FYI". You will OFTEN see that written on audition scripts, and does not need to be memorized.

    Thank you for that,, rehearsal pro sounds like a pretty good idea,, I'm going it out,, I live in Florida,actors that live in the Southeast doesn't have some of the opportunities that someone would have they lived out west,, what is your recommendation for me getting auditions for television and film,, I plan on also getting a profile made up with actors Access

      There are still lots of opportunities around the country! Definitely get on the casting sites and into acting class. Check out our free FB group of proactive actors. We have actors from around the world (including the southeast!) so there will be lots of opportunities to get feedback!

    Hello who where’s reading this I want to be an actor rlly bad so I have a question when your in the waiting room for audition do u have to read the script there or do they give u the scrip and u practice until u get to the audition?

    • @ActingResourceGuru
      @ActingResourceGuru  4 года назад +1

      Hi Nevaeh. Usually, you will get the script ahead of time, but sometimes they will give you a script in the waiting room once you arrive - that's called 'Cold Reading'. Be sure to practice this or take a class on your Cold Reading skills. This will make sure you give your best performance even if you just get the script.
