Kyungsoo said that he liked the demo versions of both songs ("Rose" and " Its Love"(Si Fueras Mia)) and the demo versions for both were in english and spanish so he recorded them both in those languages as well as for a bonus tracks for us 😭😭

Do Kyungsoo has the finest auditory sense, not many singer are blessed with it, he has an extraordinary talent for foreign languages, reason why he sounds so perfect, here, in spanish. He doesn't speak the language, but,because the original demo is in spanish, he just followed it. Amazing how he can pronounce some consonants like "rr" and "xx" !!
D.O. has such a way with mimicking language. He sings in English perfectly and he's not fluent. He sings in Spanish perfectly and is not fluent. Like WTF!!! LOL, he really is just a hard working natural talent and we are all so blessed. He could probably tackle any language in any song.

For this album interview, he said that, Initially, he was only supposed to sing the Korean Version of Si Fueras Mia, which is It’s Love, but when he heard the demo in Spanish, he was fascinated by the sound and lyrics, he loved the feelings. And so then decided to do both Korean and the original version in Spanish. He hoped that it can be a special gift to bis fans 😭 He is so precious ❤️

Kyungsoo is really so good in singing in english and spanish because there's a lot of consonants, vowel, dipthongs and stress and all that in those languages that doesn't exist in korean language. He did not struggle at all especially on the words existir and salvacion I was surprised he sang those so clearly! Those words could be tricky to the tongue for a person who is not at all familiar to the language and yet here he is sounding like a fluent speaker! I am really impressed 👏🏼
The way D.O. makes me proud aagh !! The praise he gets made me smile for the whole video. I'm so satisfied with this album. He did the type of music that he enjoys, got to write as well but as also gave a gift to his native and international fans. Everything is perfect.
I'm really happy as a latina with this gift from him. It's really nice to be remembered when most of the the times artists like this would only go with english as bonus
He sounds so good, No korean singers can sing spanish like a its their native language, He doesn't sounds korean at all, the way he pronounced the words. Just like his Rose English version, He's very good you can't really hear like he sounds like Korean. DO first caught my attention in Sabor A Mi, and that performance is still fresh in my mind. Now he blessed us with Si Fueras Mia. It's a song where you can just close your eyes and feel like you're on cloud nine. D.O should definitely do more in this genre.

According to the composers/writers of Si Fueras Mia, this song was made 10 years ago! They shared it on a post on instagram!
YES THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR
Composers of different countries always send their demo songs (written in their native languages) to SM Entertainment. After shortlisting the songs for an SM album through a blind test, SM buys those demo versions from them & then Korean lyricists work to write the Korean lyrics for those finalised songs.
Just like this, Rose was an English demo song in the first place & D.O. himself solely wrote different korean lyrics for it to sing the korean title track. Si Fueras Mia was a spanish demo song & by changing its lyrics and title to korean, a new song called "It's Love" was released. That's why the eng & spanish lyrics do not match the lyrics of the korean versions as SM tends to change the complete meaning of the songs to make it suitable for their own standards, particular album concept & korean audiences. (Best example - the korean lyrics of Exo's song 'The Eve' is totally different from its original english demo song's lyrics.)
About the original english & spanish demos for the 2 songs, D.O. said that he liked the lyrics and feelings upon listening to them the first time. So he sang them as bonus tracks to be special gifts for his fans.

The song sounds so romantic when sung by D.O. but the meaning of the lyrics sounds I dunno, hopeful? Or wishful or should I say longing? So the title means, If only you were/are mine? It sounds heartbreaking but gaaaaad, how it sang sounds so charismatic! It's hard to explain

D. O really can adapt other languages easily like the pronunciation and how he delivers it. He might unable to speak fluently but he has the skills, example how he sings in English and speaks it like on their tours he sounds so fluent.

Andreas oberg is one of the composer and producer, he compose and produced EXO song "Wait" and "stronger".. if i am not wrong he is a master guitarist and specialize in classic jazz guitar.. please somebody correct me if i'm wrong

This song swept me off my feet. It like came out of nowhere, halfway thru the album and this happens. I already love the Korean song. but it was so beautiful when he sang in Spanish adds more feeling and warmth to it with the romantic language. Made me cry! How he sang it too was so full of feeling and heartbreak but its so good!! Im glad to know how he did in his pronunciation, he is indeed one of a kind. The composer, Andreas Öberg, is an incredibly talented guitarist and he has written songs for EXO like Stronger, Wait, Day by Day, and No Matter, as well as other ballads like No Longer by NCT127 and One of These Nights by Red Velvet. Other songs he made include Red Velvet's La Rouge, Irene&Seulgi's Diamond, and NCT U's Dancing in the Rain. He's a very talented composer, so please do check his other songs! He has a knack for using these weird ~crunchy~ chords that sounds very pretty and ear pleasing, making his songs very endearing and heartfelt!
The album didn't just contain Korean but also Spanish and English. He did so well in English, I can understand him very well. And seeing Spanish speakers saying he did a great job with a Spanish song makes me happy.
Special appreciation for the review and for efras rough translation its very amazing, exol has obliged to learn spanish for this DO masterpiece.
