This is a fight between D.O's fanboys
so about the bonus tracks, D.O. talked about it in a short interview.....the original version (demo) came in english (Rose) and spanish (Si Fueras Mia)... Kyungsoo said that he personally like the feels and lyrics to those original songs, that's why he wanted to include them in the album as bonus....he also said that its a gift for international fans as well (fyi, he aaaalways shows appreciation to intl fans whenever he interacts with fans)
As for his ability to digest languages are amazing, not just spanish but english, chinese, japanese, philiphines....fans never shut up about how perfect he sang in those languages despite he doesn't speak it..he just have a natural ability to pick up languages....and apparently, his diction and enunciation is always praised in his acting dialogues too despite the various dialect (north korean dialect, historical, accented etc)
well, we all know Kyungsoo is kinda perfectionist, he doesn't half assed things so he always study and work very hard on it...if he does something, he will silently do it towards perfection....this can be proven by those artists/staffs who worked with him, they called him "hard working talented genius" which means he always worked twice harder than everyone else while still naturally talented...
That's why we as dandanies (kyungsoo's fans) are always proud and satisfied at whatever works he did, be it in singing or acting....and not only that, he as a person, is someone we look up to, we admire and respect him as an individual..

The first time they went to the Philippines in 2013-2014? OT12 sang "Hawak Kamay" and his pronunciation is good.
What more else to say....its just kyungsoo d.o is so talented...
I believe Efra is right about the rumor because we always wondered about his english level and it got confirmed by one of the Swing Kids casts and he shared that D.o's very fluent in english but only knows little basic english. And we always see him say during exo lives that he doesnt really know much english, so i think he is the kind of person who can pronounce or speak any language fluently even without being an actual native, he really is a rare gem :)

I don't know for sure,. but yeah D.O. never take any course/ class or something. He particularly train anything by himself, like autodidact, just like He can perfectly speak North Korean dialect ( for Swing Kids) put him as the best speaker of Nort.Korean among South Korean Artist) but yeah for sure he has right guidance to direct him to pronounce or doing something perfect just like how he do for his acting skill (no acting class either: no tap dance class just train for 6 months with team)💛👏
Kyungsoo has always had fanboys, even since the beginning of his career. He is the member with the most male fans out of the whole group, you can find a picture during one of their debut days back in 2012, in the crowd there was a whole section of men cheering just for him lol

When I heard it for the first time, my jaw drop and I was squealing lol I just couldn’t believe what I was hearing! Like I’m fairly new D.O.fan and I’ve seen his cover of Luis Miguel’s song so I guess I expected something similar sounding but I didn’t expect his perfect pronunciation! It was just an awesome experience. I’m generally not into slow Spanish songs, but I play his album all day long because it’s just that good!
So the original songs Rose and it's love are English and spanish respectively, So I think he learned the spanish accent through listening to the original track, I'm just guessing. And also when he listened to both original songs he loved the feeling they deliver, so he decided to add them as bonus songs to international fan

Kyungsoo actually said si fueras mia was the demo so i think he basically just followed the pronounciations from the demo. I guess he's just one of those people gifted in linguistics (idk the right term?) because for Swing Kids movie he learned the North Korean accent and he did it amazingly. I am always in awe of his talents omg.

I love all the artists y'all mentioned who you got reminded of when D.O. sang in Spanish. But if I am being candid, when I first listened to this song I got reminded so much of Luis Fonsi. Their tonality is so similar and even their rifts have a similarity as well. Like all the Latino's that have listened to this song I have to say that D.O. has one of the most distinctive voices in the KPOP industry. Like Onew from SHINee, his voice can be recognized instantly as soon as he opens his mouth, which can be proven by his fan in this video. I personally am a huge fan of EXO and D.O. is my bias, so as a Latino I was very touched by this song. It doesn't matter which part of Latinoamerica we are from I know we all identified a lot with this song and the choices he made in regards to how he sang this song. Like I said he reminded me a lot if Luis Fonsi and I would literally faint of shock if they ever made a collab lol.
On another note, if you guys have the time could y'all react to "Tear Drop by SF9" the MV and their performances which have a different choreography.
I am also not sure if you guys have seen the "Kingdom: Legendary War " performances but I highly recommend them. The show had 6 KPOP male groups competing against each other using their original songs, each other songs and other KPOP group songs. The best thing is that all of them make different choreographies for the performances and made remixes of every song. The groups were: STRAYKIDS, iKON, BTOB, ATEEZ, SF9 and THEBOYZ. I recommend seeing all the performances but if you can't the following performances are my favorites:
-STRAYKIDS - DDU DU DDU DU perf. (Performed BLACKPINK's song mixed with their song Gods Menu and with the theme of DEADPOOL).
-MAYFLY - Love Poem (Seungmin from StrayKids, Eunkwang from BTOB and Jong-ho from ATTEZ perf. song by IU).
-MAYFLY - Playing With Paints (Members from STRAYKIDS, BTOB and ATEEZ made this song from scratch and performed it during the show. The song has a very special meaning so I think you guys will like it a lot).
-SF9 - Move (Performed Taemin song)
-BTOB - Back Door (Performed STRAYKIDS song)
BTW. MAYFLY is the name of the group created within the show by the collaboration performances between the groups SKZ, BTOB and ATEEZ. You will enjoy every performance so if you guys have the time I recommend watching the show even if you don't make reactions to it.
