Dude, could you talk about the brightness of this one? my preference 350ish on SDR. My current one is around 290 max and 350 on HDR. Leaves a bit to be desired. I know there's no easy way to measure that but what do you think?
@@Sublime261 is a wetness look to most colors a common issue because mine has a wetness to most colors and mine also came with a dead pixel that i didn't notice till the day after it arrived
i got one of those monitors but mine came with a dead pixel when i first got it but i didn't notice the dead pixel till the day after i got the monitor and now i notice that the monitor has a wetness look to it with most colors like red is the least affected but white and blue is really affected the wetness look is mostly noticeable on blue and white especially on white and green is somewhat noticable and red is usually a little bit to not noticeably wetness look and the picture is a tiny bit off but mostly fine and i do clean my monitor every now then and i do like the monitor and all its features but i hate how mine was a defective one i mean it could be worse and it could of just stopped working after 2 months but im still using it now since its not unusable yet
Hi do you know how to activate the 180hz refresh rate? According to the guide its under overclocking option unxer setup menu but for me that option is missing.
@@abhinavk.kyou will need a GPU that has a HDMI cable (I believe) if you do, use that! Maybe look into HDMI 2.0 and 2.1 to get to that level. Problem with cords now days, most manufacturers lie. If it does what you want, then that's great :)
@@brianeno608 I tried with HDMI also, on PC and Laptop. I think displayport is better and supports higher resolution and refresh rate than HDMI. After contacting Viewsonic they said I have to take it to service center for a firmware upgrade :(
I think that the j model means the monitor is more adjustable, like it can tilt, rotate, Ect. But I’m not sure if that’s 100% correct, don’t take my word for it.
@@shimik11But its not detail he just speak vaguely. We expect to see in terms of numbers like how many % of sRGB, adobe rgb, and dcip. Atleast he can show the chart and comparison which is very important information for photo and video editors. Color Accuracy is a very important topic.
@@relexelumna5360 Yep, that I understand. However with budget constraints, expect tradeoffs - a budget gaming monitor likely has weak performance in color accuracy and a cheaper monitor with good color accuracy probably has no budget allocation leftover to be good for gaming.

brightness (250 nits idk not worth it imo) and highly likely response times as even "1ms" advertise monitors are usually best case scenarios with tons of config done which usually worsen the image. Most budget 1ms ish RT monitors are actually 5 - 10 ms RT

I own similar monitor by viewsonic, tbh its bright enough and has hdr which boosts brightness if u really need it

any monitor will work with the xbox same as a tv would. the xbox only gets 120 fps max so you wouldnt take full advantage of the 165hz
