PK..... such an honest and diplomatic answer about McDavid.... very admirable Mr. PK.
Awesome interview Tony , PK was ahead of his time when playing in Montreal. Excellent ambassador for the league. Loved him as a player , and will never forget that Boston playoff series which pk was so electrifying
I can't remember if it was during the playoffs, but I will never forget that hit that PK laid down on Marchand.
There was a big clean hip check were pk nailed him at the blueline . That one I think was at the bell centre 2010 I think. Not the playoffs . That hit sums up his career as a hab , he could elevate his game . Too bad the league and organization was so conservative then
Great interview here by Tony.👏 Top-notch job!👌
Seems genuinely pretty interested in his guest and also never interrupted his guest.
Elite listening skills here flashed up by Tony Marinaro.
Great interview for PK as well.👍
Salut PK, tu nous manques!
Merci Tony pour l'entrevue!
Tony you have the best guests on your podcasts! I don't always agree with your opinions but kudos to you for your great shows. Your podcasts make me feel like I haven't missed a beat with Habs despite now living 3500 miles away. Regards from Scotland.
Loved him when he was a Hab
Me too.
Im 32. For me, after Kovalev, he's the most entertaining habs skater we've ever had
@@nathanmulcahy2297 I’m older than that you should have seen Guy #10 no one better.
We love you pk! You are my favorite hockey player of all time
Pk always a hab

In his heart he is a Hab.
nah im with weber

@@habsallways you need some maturing
I still wish P. K. retired as a Hab.
Tony...great job...great questions. One of the best one on one interview...ever
Great interview, u can really see the growth in PK as a human in general🙏🏿
PK you're always a legend to me
Great as always guys! Happy to meet you in Vegas Tony made my week!!
Always liked PK. Classy guy.
Remember when pk destroyed Marchand
Flying reverse hip check.
I want a screen in my house that just loops that hit over and over.
He loved the city of Montreal and bled Habs unlike the guy he was traded for…
Great interview Tony!!
That’s what I’m talking about 💯
Legend.. you too Tony!
Connor needed to be in his dressing room with his team. He did what any captain would do. PK is real
🔥🔥🔥
ill always hate bergevin for trading pk. f that guy for life. pk is fantastic. hes killing it as a media guy for espn.
I was in the car with my girlfriend when I heard about it on the radio. I had a Chernobyl-level meltdown. My now ex-girlfriend still talks about it today. Although it turned out being a "good trade" because PK really slowed down after a few seasons, I still say MB had no way of knowing that would happen and thus it was a dumb trade. No one will ever convince me otherwise!
As much as I liked him, it’s obvious that he took up too much air in the room. It was all about PK all the time. Great for the fans, awful for team cohesion. Bergevin did a lot of things that are worthy of criticism, but trading PK for Shea Weber wasn’t one of them.
Subban was not a good teammate. Had no sense of self-awareness in never shutting up, and as much as I loathed Therrien, he was right in calling out his "individualiste" me-first instincts. Trading him for Weber was robbery.
Bergevin / Therrien and clueless trust fund baby molson should always be sh*t on in Mtl for what they did to several players but especially PK
@@hoserfellayou’re one of the clowns who look at his philanthropic donation as a bad thing. The entire organization was catered to trying to make Desharnais look like an NHL player. You’re clueless
PK is SICK!
Here we are
Oh que OUI!
PK, greetings from Gatineau, class is your middle name!
Sick
More P.k. on the sick podcast please. What about 4 times a year
I see the McDavid thing a different way. I think being the captain of that team he felt it necessary to be with his team while they came to terms with the loss. To me that makes the most sense. His first priority was his teammates.
He could play with us next year...kills me
"because I'm old now" ouch.
PK would probably still be playing if he wasnt traded. He needed that pressure of playing in Mtl to be at his best. Should never have bridged him.
They booed Connor McDavid quite loudly when they announced that
He was the winner of the 2024 Conn Smyth trophy with his parents
In attendance at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise. why would he
Want to come out on the Ice to hear that again!!!
The Oilers were heartbroken, and he didn’t want to leave his teammates. The only Cup he really wanted was the SC.
What crowed wouldn't booe?
Connor McDavid doesn't care he's an elite professional
hockey star he won the Conn Smyth trophy for good reason
what more needs to be said. 🤔
Absolutely embarrassing how Mtl the org treated PK at every turn.
Grinding him on the bridge deal. No early extension after the Norris, another Norris nom and still fighting on the contract.
No love ever. And Molson let it all happen. We know the slime Bergevin / Therrien are but Molson I’ll never respect. Family money never earned anything just a bozo.
Subban played his best hockey under Therrien. Unless you were in the locker room, how do you know how we was treated? Nashville trade him. Jersey didn’t resign him. Before he retired, he was a free agent and no team gave him a contract. Not even a one year deal.
Too bad he had a GM and coach that didn’t appreciate him.
Subban couldn’t have explained it better about Mcdavid! I said the exact same thing! It was out of respect for the Panthers and it was their spotlight! Fans need to get over it and move on!
Merci Tony & PK. Love you both.
💙🤍❤️ GO HABS GO 💙🤍❤️
Il a perdu son français 😅
that such a bullshit cop out "reason" for mc david to not come out....reality is he stole attention away from the panthers by not coming out and having the media questioning why he didn't, pk is just 1000% wrong on this
Not a fan of his attention-seeking schtick - he can take it elsewhere AFAIC.
What a crap thing to say… it wasn’t PK that was seeking Marinaro to be on Tony’s podcast. Although I always found PK’s personality annoying, he was a fun player to watch, does a lot for kids and I would guess a tones more than you ever did….
Agreed
Meh, you suck
He needed to watch his back with Pacioretty and Gallagher badmouthing him to Bergy. Been karma ever since for those two. Subban is on to what likely will be a long career in the media.
