I worked in commercial horticulture off and on for a few years and when the crops started blooming in the greenhouses we would have bees around as the weather got better. At one company we had just one house and so we had crops into the summer and fall as well as late winter and spring. We didn't mind the bees and they didn't mind me going about my work. In the fall we usually had a large collection of fall bloomers outside and as the plants matured and bloomed there were bees everywhere. One day a coworker stopped me and pointed behind me and, as I was moving pots from one area to another, the bees would just follow along behind in little cloud. They would wait until I got the pots situated and then move in to go to work. We considered the bees part of the staff and there was never a problem.

Not gonna lie, you started on those bee facts and I rolled my eyes. 'Oh, most of the bees are female, y'don't say'. Then you laid some bombs down. 1.5 times around the entire world... For less honey than I get in a honey stick?
I thought I savored this wonderful stuff before. You totally changed how I view it.

I am afraid of bees (insects) but want to learn more about them. I am impressed with how you handle them with such care, this probably contributes to them not stinging as much. That being said, from the title of your video I was expecting to see excited bees and how you handled the situation. It wasn't until the end that I realized your play on words, lol.
Thanks for helping me appreciate bees and learn that they aren't always aggresive.

Your quiet sense of humour and understated presentation would make ideal videos for school children learning about the biology of bees and the crucial "pollination cycle".
