He led the playoffs in steals and was top 10 in steals in the regular season but guys try discount his steals in way never done before because most of his steals are in the passing lane which nobody cared about before until he got a high accumulation of steal
Look at any other sport turn overs are huge. It isn't looked as big because it's only 2 or 3 points. And I disagree steals are worth more than blocks because you have the ball after a steal, a block you have to fight again for.

@@nomorepartiezz that’s precisely why I think he has a great chance to win this year, he’ll be overlooked up until all star weekend when people realize “hey he’s having another historic year and the Bucks are 1 or 2 in the East” I feel like the guys that get the attention early have less a chance to win than the guys getting attention in the 2nd half of the season after the break Luka was hyped all last year, so was SGA and they missed out, I see both of those guys taking a tiny step back this year because they have some new pieces on their teams and it’ll take a little bit away from their individual numbers which is one of the main factors in the MVP race…I think Giannis avg. 32-11-5

The only reason he hasn’t won mvp yet is because the team has just never consistently been good/healthy for an entire season.
