I live a couple blocks over from the Cottages where Caleb lived. The bridge that overlooks the storm water runoff canal does have a light above it. However, it was very foggy on that night and adjacent to the bridge is a storm water drain. The light above the bridge does not illuminate outwards very well around the area where the drain is plus the fog didn't help with visibility either. It is quite possible that the cover was off and anyone walking in that area could have easily fell into the drain especially on a dark and foggy night. The cover could have accidentally been left off by city workers or someone took it off or the pressure build up from fast surging storm water could have pushed it off and nobody knew the cover was off. As of now, there are still three other people missing in Corpus; a male in his forties and two females in their early twenties that have been missing for longer than Caleb Harris. We need all these folks to be found.
Thank you for those details. I pray this isn't Caleb. I hope he is found alive, but at this time it seems unlikely that he will be found alive. I cant imagine how Caleb's family is feeling right now. Prayers for Caleb's family and the families of the other missing people. Have the other ppl missing in that area had very much publicity about their dissapearances?
Lord have mercy. I actually hope it's him because it will at least give his family and friends some resolution. We sadly know he won't be found alive, because of the circumstances. Just sucks, but this happens. God bless.
There are so many possibilities here. If it if something nefarious that happened, and I hope it's not, how would he get in that locked waste water lift in the first place. And yes, I think that LE knows if it's him or not even if decomposed because putting 2 + 2 together, this is across the field from his apartments literally. And why now almost 5-6 months later is a body discovered there ya know. LE says there has been a lot of rain recently and so much more water has been pulled into that water station lift. So then if that drainage ditch leads past the bridge from his last snapchat photo, and the drainage ditch goes to that exact bridge BTW, then how did a body makes its way to get pulled into that water station? One of the public workers who works that station said the drainage goes to Oso Bay, so God forbid that he was in the bay and washed up to that water station. I really don't think at all that Caleb did this too himself. I pray they ID these remains and that whoever it is they can find out what happened. I just don't think it's coincidence that they found human remains so very close to a missing man's home. Prayers for the family and Caleb. Please God let them find out what happened.

If a body was found and the media feels that it's necessary to let the public know that I don't think that it is logical to even mention Caleb Harris's name until they have a positive identity why upset someone's family who's been looking for their loved one.. basically just because it was close to where he was staying wow that's why I don't watch the news very often. It's very misleading

we can keep saying 'we dont know' and legally they cant confirm. but cmon. teeth, phone? clothes? they cant narrow it down. ?

There is a lot of talk about opened sewer manholes in that area, so this poor kid might of been walking and fell in. 😢

You know there are holes and tops off of the streets sewage and stuff and it sucks when walking and you fall in a hole and hurt your self

The police called the family first just in case. To prepare them. There are 3 other ppl missing too.
I imagine a gator got him as he was right next to the canal. He was pulled into the stormwater system.
We don’t have gators here in Corpus Christi. It’s not a common occurrence
