Isn't it crazy that No matter what type of English accent you have whether it be American British or Australian. When people start singing it all sounds the same lol
Wow, I love these guys so much! If I were 100 years old, I would be dancing in the front row (aka mosh pit) at their gigs, not like the ones in this video! Fantastic!
Cheers, we try! Keely Smith was a very good friend of ours until she passed away a few years ago. She came on tour with several years running through the UK and Europe. Wild lady!
... SUPERB !! ... Standing O !! ... watch the bass-players face starting at 2:01 ... perfect satisfaction !! ... and that is what your music brings to me too !! ... BIG SALUT from Austria !!
I do apologise I should not have used the word rubbish. I love to listen to other performers arrangements of other artists songs, and I still dance to Loui Prima. I think I was disappointed by your rendition, to my mind it just didn't swing. It don't mean a thing if it an't got that swing!!
Each to their own. Fortunately for us, Keely Smith was a big fan of ours (as we were of hers) and came on tour with us every year for the entire Summer many years running before she died and she thought we swung so I think the scales of opinions are still tipped somewhat in our favour...
Het blijft een geweldig nummer, en bovendien enorm goed uitgevoerd bravo.
Excellent show, as usual 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😊

New Orleans native here. Bravo! Thanks for honoring one of the all time music greats (:
Our pleasure! Louis is a huge musical hero of ours and Keely Smith was a very good friend of ours for many years before she passed!

@@jiveaces I remember seeing her on TV in the 1950s. She had this deadpan delivery that played against Louis’s exuberance
Really nice performance, brass was spot on
