@@Al-ImprovEd2022 I back in the 90 many poeple did collect basketball cards. I was like 7 or 8 years old and all my friends did collect. That was a great time. I collected Pippen and Vince when he came into the league but the hype went down when MJ Retired. I think 2002 was the time i wasnt collecting anymore. Nowaday i cant even buy cards here in my local store.. they sell Magic cards and stuff but they said Basketball cards are too expensive so kids cant afford them anymore..
I have busted about 10 or more hobby ebay boxes of this product ! No autos and they are very hard to pull ! I did pull two or three Atomic Refractors Mourning, Starks ( like your one ) and I forget the other ? I did pull the refractor version of Fusion insert to 50 of Shaq and big country and had it graded by Beckett at 9.5 ! You did briefly show off the to 25 version in your video. Cards do have a nice glossy coat but a lot of my packs were a bit curled up and not all were flatly sharp so maybe heat or sunlight plays a part in that ?
@@90sbballcards Hi mate, I just busted four packs of Flair showtime 98 99 and found a legacy collection Jason Williams vertical (55) showcase 70 of 99 insert ! It had came from a sealed box I had bought 6 plus years ago and I saved the a few packs thinking that I had pulled all the best ones as I did pull a Legacy to 99 Damon Stoudamire and a few inserts numbered to 6000 and 3000 etc ! I know that the legacies were not published on how many boxes they were inserted etc but iv'e herd averages of one in 3 boxes or so ! To get two legacies in one box was pretty good luck ! I dug throw all my old cards and found sealed topps finest 93 94 and flair 97 98 as well as 98 99. I sold packs online of finest but decided to open the flairs as they might have Jordan and Kobe commons etc !
I'm a Topps Chrome guy first but I love Bowman's Best too because of the variety of interesting things that can be pulled. The early years of Chrome didn't really have that.

How do you think Bowman’s Best stacks up against Topps Chrome from the 90s?

In Germany Karstadt :), was the Retail Packs in my childhood for 23 DM :) for 3 Cards in a Pack.
Sven Rost ya. These weren’t cheap back in the day. Not the most expensive but not a bargain brand.
Do people collect a lot in Germany Sven? And which sports ? I would think b-ball is more popular than US football.

I like the Topps Chrome cards, but the chrome finish is known to turn green over time.
Michael Webb yes. It is interesting that Bowman cards seem to turn green less than the chrome and finest cards 🤔

Not that I know of. but maybe one day we will figure out that secret!
