- My 2014 V6 Mustang is full bolt on with an MPT Tuned P1SC Procharger. It also is running on 5 gallons of E85. We put it on a Mustang dyno for the most accurate numbers we could get for crank and wheel horsepower.
There's a lot of power left on the table and things we learned from this test run. We'll be adjusting a few things on the tune, adding some parts, and running this again soon so make sure to subscribe!

Hope you guys liked this! I wanted to use a Mustang dyno for the most accurate numbers on this first try. A fuel pump, revised tune, tighter belt, pulley, and more E85 are all planned to be added before a dynojet run. One edit: that Hellcat did ~500WHP before me. Hoping I can break 500 crank with the finished product!
$1400 stimulus = $1000 injectors + $300 fuel pump + $100 E85.

Great info on Dyno's accuracy is important.
Love the extra detail and explanation on the results. I'll bet you will need the injectors as well as the fuel pump. That is where I am at on my SRT-4 now is needing to add more fuel and that means both pump and injectors. You might be able to pick up some additional power if the pump is maxed and the injectors aren't, but most gains will be seen by upgrading both. I will definitely be interested to see what kind of increase you get with just the pump.

Do most muscle/sports cars have higher factory rated HP than what they actually produce? Even if the factory reports crank hp?
All depends on what Dyno they ran. They aren’t lying, but they may be reporting best case scenario crank numbers on dynos that report the highest numbers. A Mustang dyno is by far the lowest numbers lol

MPT “can” see that AFR, they load your datalog into Livelink.
P.S. Hellcats run mid to high 500’s on Mustang dyno mildly modded.
Yeah we found out later this AFR report was what they wanted it to be at. We aren’t changing it. And yep mid 500s wheel on a mustang dyno is right! I need a dynojet next lol

Did you street tune or dyno tune your MPT tune?
Street with data log first, many different versions later I hit the Dyno and shared results with MPT. I’m an experimental flex tune for the V6
