I used to hate the scanias. Lousy, slow and loud. However, as these scanias are near its end of life, I start to realise they are not that bad. After all, they are a piece of history as it is one of SBS transit’s iconic buses
@@enviro500 Well the pros of Scania KUB are : Strong aircon, voith (sometimes), 2 wheel chair bay suitable for luggages when deployed on Airport / Cross-boarder services (only Euro 4 units) and some of them are big SBST logos. While the disadvantages are : loud engine sound can be heard far away and high amount of carbon monoxide emission.

Well the kubs are good for crowd and standing space.
And the engine is loud n nice..

I always call the byd k9 gemilang the head bump bus because the charger looks like a head bump. But the bus motor is so good to me

However very smooth n fast response from the bus
Citaro. It is very loud and there is a lot of vibration when seated at the last row. The seat cushions are always fairly thin
I won't use "hate", cause it's too strong a word, but my least favorite model as of now is the Yutong E12DD. It's more from an aesthetics standpoint than malicious hatred, but there is just something about rounded roofs that does not appeal to me. Plus, the overall feel of the bus is just not as slick compared to the MANs. The engine sound is kind of the only plus I have with this model, but otherwise, hopefully its successor gets a better exterior design (and get rid of the rounded roofs, you're not wowing anyone with it).

I use to like scania since when my secondary school days but now I used it because of the loud engine for it turbo E4 and E5 and now I like th man buses better because it the E6
I think is the ankai electric bus is the worst as it is the only bus that never even survive in the trial run. And also the problematic the old enviro 500 bus. Breakdown frequently the engine can match Scania kub engine sound when it aged. And the 3rd should be the old CSS not the tibs one daf sb220 the bus is good but the air con filtration is very poor once you go in you will get to smell a very weird and smelly smell then the trip will be a total turn off unless you can tahan it.
I would say probably my least rode bus model currently is the Mercedes OC500LE and the Scania K230UB (excluding some that have seats in front similar to the Mercedes Citrao buses) buses. Thankfully there is not much 500LE compared to the MAN A22 buses (my preference) as the 500LE seats makes my journey feel uncomfortable especially during peak hours while the Scania buses have loud engine even then with the B9TL or Mercedes Citrao ones
im surprised the citaro nvr made it to top worst due to its horrible seat cushion + standing in that bus is very cramped during peak hr as compared to KUB where the front to rear door is wide. the citaro also does not feature the adjustable aircon pods compared to the kub

And the non adjustable AC vent means u wont hv the full on AC BLAST ON YOU .
Although it might make the bus as a whole COOLER

Linkker is the worst since there aren’t many forward facing seats and half of the total seats are priority seats.
Worst still, the sound of the electric motors always make me giddy and have slight motion sickness which I nvr encountered before in other bus models.
True. Linkker is a cool bus just because its a pantograph bus, but not my option for joyriding unless i got no choice
I feel linker is nice though.

Nice Video! Personally, I hate the Mercedes Benz Citaro the most. We can see Citaro everywhere and what is worse is the hard cushion that makes it uncomfortable to sit on. The lush green livery on the Citaro is also unappealing. I am surprised the Citaro is not on the list hor. Also, I do not think that the Scania K230UB should be on the list wor. It's much better than most of the bus models mentioned in the video. Although the engine is quite loud, the air conditioning is very strong and there are no face-to-face seats. Face-to-face seats are the worst on buses. They can make people with motion sickness feel unwell.

I think you refer to SBS Transit's BYD K9
The SBST Spec C1F Citaro is indeed the worst bus in SG because of its dated interior & exterior with nothing much changed until the introduction of Batch 3s in 2015-16. They also lack a PIDS Display, but can still play announcements.

That's why my friend said the Bendy bus is the best 3-door bus in Singapore compared to 3-door single deck and 3-door double deck buses.

@@zbkvolgren and not to mention Man A24 (Bendy buses) are pretty rare in Singapore as there are only 40 of them island wide so that's why it's unique.

I would actually rank worst bus models according to cleanliness, space, sound & speed (I don’t really care about the seats (i agree tho the Linkker really went too far)
So ranking Top 4 worst models based on these 4 criteria, here’s *my opinion* (judge in comments)
4. Alexander Dennis Enviro500
3. Scania K230UB
2. Mercedes Benz OC500LE
1. Mercedes Benz Citaro
Notice all these are pretty old buses…
But, if I ranked the best bus models here’s what I’ll pick in Top 4 (again, my opinion, can judge in comments):
4. Yutong E12DD
3. Volvo B5LH
2. MAN A95
1. MAN A22
These 4 i like due to amazing cleanliness, relatively spacious, no jarring engine sounds & all have like turbocharged speed. I would actually include MAN A24 but I’ll leave it out since it’s a special case…
Citaro is the worst pax cannot move if they fully move to the back already
Yea definitely the Linkker is the worst bus overall. The leg space is almost non existent thanks to its electric shit behind and the bus feels like one plank with 4 smol wheels. It’s a shame the bus can’t hold up well considering its potential but LTA threw it away.
Honestly the scania is ok. U have a loud engine but it’s traded for a fast af bus with power. The Citaro should’ve taken its place as the bus generally sucks. It’s like economy class gone wrong on a bus.
The only bus that I hate so far is Ankai G9. The design model is literally looks like a coach bus and its horrible, especially at the back of the rear

@@TIB1234T I have experienced boarding a Mercedes Electric bus and Man City Electric buses in Germany . They are better than BYD and Yutong Bus. Both china buses reliability not as good as those Europe electric buses.
Even overseas three door single buses are fully low-floor like Mercedes Electric bus (Except Volvo Electric bus)
