I personally think that its easier to learn first on the ipad because there are so many things that you can learn on there that arnt on paper. I am not very good at drawing but I went to best buy and I was drawing on the iPad's there and in the 15 minutes that I was drawing, the art that I made looked amazing!! As a 13 year old the art that I can make will be nothing compared to what you have the potential to make and draw! I wish you the best of luck on your drawing journey and if you are feeling a bit spectical about drawing on an ipad or your worried that your not going to like it, I recommend going to best buy and draw on their iPads there to try it and see if you like it. You must be joking lol, ever been in an art school? or atleast in a gallery? judging by the way he is drawing he wouldn't even be admitted in an art university. Besides composition, which is average at best, he's just copying outlines and filling them. I used to do that too when i was 4-5 yrs old lol. Anyway i'm here just because i want to see how ppl use that iPad for drawing, i had a good laugh reading your comment tho.

I would suggest paper to get the basics since digital can be a little over whelming
