I wasn't really a fan of this soundtrack on the night, but it has grown on me over the last couple of months. The transition between the songs at 9:12 is awesome.
Was this really the official soundtrack? I recorded this same soundtrack on Kiis 1065 but I was still in doubt, as I thought the song was very weak compared to other years. It's actually sounding like the soundtracks that were put on TV broadcast in recent years. It is nothing like the soundtracks broadcast on radio. I didn't like the songs, but the fireworks were as beautiful as they always were. Unfortunately only 4 ferries, but in 2022 I hope it gets back to normal. Greetings from Brazil.

The City of Sydney got The Presets to create the official soundtrack. To my understanding for this one it was a uniform soundtrack across TV, live stream and radio broadcasts.
I just saw an amateur video of the fireworks in front of the harbor bridge with the soundtrack. I confess that I really liked it. the music is not bad and the sync with the fireworks was excellent. At first I didn't like it, but now I like it hahaha
