@@95rav Really?, he was being respectful by not wanting viewers to sit and watch him watch it all, it was just out of respect, something certain people lack.
@@95rav Well good for them, so let's cater this video just for them then shall we, considering most of those on lookers don't even know about this channel, some don't even go on RUclips, and don't necessarily need to watch it all again, and what about the zillion other people around the world who don't always like to watch a long video, or just happened to stumble across this channel on their way to going out for the night, and just wanted to watch a few minutes, it's not all about you ya know, it's hard to please all people around the entire world to watch a single video, you are a good example of that, so how about being appreciative of Ryan who was thinking of other people, again something people lack, you may want to watch from 6:55 where he even explains why he said it, maybe take that attention span of yours for a test run. I for one have no problem of a full video, but others might disagree, and just like you, it's not all about me either, hence trying to make everyone happy, You do know Ryan also has other channels to do videos for other countries too, he is even a family man, not only does he have to cater for everyone who watches videos for different parts of the world, be it supported or like some, not, and he also has to do family duties too which has a higher priority than doing stuff on RUclips. RUclips is a big place you know, I'm sure you can find a full-length video elsewhere to watch, instead of giving negative comments, because God forbid, this video was not all about you. If you reply to this with more rubbish, then you just instantly made it about you, so in saying that, and instead of letting it go and moving on, I wouldn't be surprised that you reply to this, if anything I'd expect it, this is my last reply regardless of what you say or do, because I have better things to do than to go around in circles with people who are too self-involved, so that being said, have a great New Year, and hope 2025 is a good one for you, take care.

We live in Sydney and usually just watch on TV but this year we ended up at a venue where we could see just the top of the bridge and 3 of the barge's results in the sky. We watched the broadcast version the next evening and it just can't capture the amazing brilliance accurately enough. Watching on a big screen has massive advantages because it's such a H U G E undertaking to get to a good vantage point to see it live. The countdown happened on the concert stage outside the Opera House, with the performer Robbie Williams and the hosts of the concert telecast from Channel 2 ABC who have hosted this for the last few years. The fireworks are put together by the Foti family who have been doing fireworks in Australia for decades.

We are very lucky, I can't think of anywhere else in the world more perfect for a Fireworks display. The bridge is the perfect structure to act as a centrepiece, the harbour is beautiful and provides so many amazing vantage points for the crowds - over 1 million I hear in the news. Harbour provides reflections from the water, a vast open space for the fireworks themselves. It's just magic. People here sometimes complain about the money spent, but really it makes money for the city, as it's the NUMBER ONE place in the whole world renowned for NYE, and gets lots of international visitors.
Its an absolutely incredible experience in person, I've been 4 times. I certainly would never battle those crowds only to stuff a great moment by watching it through a 15cm phone screen glued to my face!!
The thing about the Sydney Harbour Bridge whenever I visit is just how huge it is in real life. The TV shrinks it and by extension one needs to imagine how huge this show is. I've never managed to attend. Maybe for the bucket list.
Happy New Year Ryan🎉& Family🎉 Fun fact we gave fireworks in most towns put on by our local councils. My town of under twenty thousand people has it down by the river at 9pm with a family fair type atmosphere food vans etc from 5pm Ours went for 10 minuetes & was really pretty.🎉
Hi from Sydney Australia, that was our new years fireworks. Of course I didn't go this year, used to go as a young girl. Watched on TV, happy new years so far 2025 has been a hot one

We always drive across the Harbour Bridge for the 9pm fireworks. That’s the best experience with fireworks exploding on both sides at a much closer distance than from any vantage point. And without the crowds! You used to be able to drive across during the midnight fireworks around the early 2000s and before. I remember doing that and feeling pieces of firecracker hitting the roof of the car. Obviously they then started closing the bridge from 11pm onwards for safety reasons.
Ryan, mate, you have ended your 2024 reactions with the most intelligent words you have ever said. I have bagged you in the past for your naivety (but still always admitted I love your reactions) and probably will in 2025. "OMG, put your phones down". I cannot believe almost everyone in that crowd was watching through their phone screens! Why bother going? Stay home and watch it on TV through your phone screen. Happy New Year mate, awesome observation.
You’d be surprised. They watch the fireworks while holding their phones high knowing wherever they point they catch something of the spectacle. It’s all fine. It’s just people preserving moments of joy. 💕🎆
Happy New Year Ryan and family. I love your reactions. I cant wait for the day you finally travel down under! There will be alot of people would love to meet up with you and show you around. ❤
Love some of your happy expressions to this one, it's like I could see your inner 8 year old enjoying himself fully. Happy New Years to your little family, I bet Jas is getting bigger now 🥰
Fireworks are big for Australian New Year not all to the Sydney Harbour level but in my suburb in Melbourne fireworks go off and the Beach suburb down the way people drive to the beach area and watch a quite healthy firework display
Yet again a Melbourner trying to compare diamonds with coal. "But our coal is BIGGER!" Except even then it isn't because we to had over 20 launch sites around the city you probably failed to count. Just celebrate your own successes, like the most awesome cricket crowds ever. Comparing and competing with Sydney is so 1990s. Move on. We're both great but very, very different. @peachescantplay

It’s pretty amazing. If you live anywhere near the harbour it feels like the fireworks are all around you. I was on the foreshore for the 1988 bi centennial, the first time they did fireworks on the bridge. Talk about gobsmacked!
Due to the 5 different time zones we got to watch the fireworks from all of the major cities. In order it went :- Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane then Perth.
The company presenting the fireworks is called Foti International Fireworks. They have been involved with fireworks for centuries, originally in Italy then in Australia. They are the best of the best.
Happy New Year Ryan! I watched it from next to the Ferris wheel behind the bridge. Sensational in person. Feeling it as much as seeing it. Hope you get to see it in person one day. Cheers! 🎉
Robbie Williams also gave a concert prior to the fireworks next to the opera house! We got to see this live across Australia ! An amazing night!!! We have pretty amazing fireworks at all then major cities. Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth……. But the Sydney over the Harbour is the best!!!
A bit of info for you. You mentioned the crowd, there were 1 million people around the harbour. The music was composed especially for the show. Most of what you saw was on the East side of the bridge. I live on the west side and we had a great display as well, including small shows at 10pm and 11pm. We could also see displays at suburbs west of the city. What you saw was the midnight event, there is also one at 9pm for those who may not be able to stay awake until midnight. We love our fireworks in Sydney, every Saturday night at 9pm they have them at Darling Harbour on the west side of the bridge. One of my favourite things early this morning was watching all the boats with their lights come past our window while returning to their docks. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
ngl for me the Sydney New Years Fireworks were impressive 20+ years ago, since then they look the same every year. You could say I take them for granted but it's kinda like being impressed by how beautiful Sydney harbour is the first time you see it and then it becomes a normal thing you see everyday because you live there.

I love the finale because the music sounds like a fighting game stage while the entire bridge is just EXPLODING!! I love when they do the golden waterfall. It's not the first time they've done it, and I'm glad they keep doing it. Cheers for shouting out Perth! Happy New Year to you too! 🎊🎉
My first thought with people holding phones was "put them down and be in the moment". Glad I'm not the only one.
Happy New Year everyone 🎉
If nothing else, our new years fireworks are the best in the world.. happy new year 2025. Hope it brings peace ❤
Happy New Year Ryan - glad you like our fireworks 🎇
If you like something, you don't skip through half of it...
@@95rav Really?, he was being respectful by not wanting viewers to sit and watch him watch it all, it was just out of respect, something certain people lack.
@zro_dfects Yes, really!
One million plus people managed to watch the show just fine. Not everyone has the attention span of a Tiktoker.
I for one have no problem of a full video, but others might disagree, and just like you, it's not all about me either, hence trying to make everyone happy,
You do know Ryan also has other channels to do videos for other countries too, he is even a family man, not only does he have to cater for everyone who watches videos for different parts of the world, be it supported or like some, not, and he also has to do family duties too which has a higher priority than doing stuff on RUclips.
@zro_dfects Then don't watch a reaction video. Simple.
I guess you would be the type to trust a movie review where the critic watches the opening scene then jumps straight to the end credits.
There were 1,000,000 people around the harbour foreshore.
And about another 20million glued to their tvs, computers! Tablets & phones.
As someone who lives on the harbour I hate the traffic and road closures on New Year’s Eve
@@The_Void_Opener , yeah, I can imagine.
@@The_Void_Openeryou poor sob😂, enjoy the rest of the year.
Yeah I was watching the fireworks from a beach right across the harbour and I could see them from there. I swear half the population was there or something
Happy New Year, Ryan and family. Ten years ago, on New Year's Eve, I was in the middle of the harbor on a cruise, surrounded by fireworks. The 360-degree view was spectacular.
Ryan they used 9 tonnes of fireworks for Sydney New Year's Eve spectacular, including the 9 o'clock display for the kids.
I don't think people from os know that they do a special kid's show. Makes it all the more fantastic . Such an amazing spectacular event!
@@infin8ee There is also 9:00 shows in Adelaide too
Glenelg, Brighton and the City are the ones I am aware of, although more than likely there is others
Melbourne used 14 tonnes 😮of
Never ceases to amaze me the Sydney fireworks. Thanks to all the people who work so hard to put it all together, Great job👍
Sadly, have to sedate my cats.
@nellinightshade3358 yes, and the dogs, i didn't think of that. Hope they're ok
Nothing beats watching Sydney's NYE fireworks near the harbour. Amazing and unforgettable!
Happy New Year to you and your family! Wishing you all the very best for the new year!
20yrs ago i got transfer to Sydney and lived right there near opera house..My first NYE show was amazing and each yr improves..i used to walk my dog all around the area at night and found best spot of all to watch each year..what people cant see is when you turn around to see city..only about 3 blocks away ...is many of Xydneys high rise buildings have fireworks soaring off the top of them.
Its an event everyone from around the world should experience as never forgotten even now up north in tropics i still get amazed with them....
Happy New Year 🥳 Ryan and Family. I am so glad that you enjoyed a taste of Australia 🇦🇺 Love your show have a GREAT 2025🎆
One of my besties won a Sydney radio comp back in the day, and we got to be on Sydney Harbour in a gorgeous boat partying right in front of the Harbour Bridge and after the count down we got to hit the button and start the fireworks 🎆 over Sydney Harbour for the New Year. A surreal once in a lifetime thing! NOW THAT WAS EXTRA! 😉❤😁🇦🇺 HAPPY NEW YEAR RYAN & EVERYBODY ❤ 2025 YAY!!!!!
Don't skip ahead keep watching! I'm seeing it for first time with you!

Happy New Year to you and your family from an Aussie living in Edinburgh, always love watching your reactions to Australia 😊. Would definitely watch a live at the end of this year (is 9.30am 1/1/25 as I write this) 🎉🎉🎉
Aussies do it best in the world. I love our cuzzies across the ditch 🎉🎉😊
Nice comment😊 Happy New Year!
they had the west face of the bridge lit up this year same as the east, so folks on that side got the same experience
The golden waterfall is always my favourite. Happy New Year, Ryan. I hope 2025 brings you everything you wish for.
……mine, too! 🇦🇺
there are 1.6 million people on the Sydney Harbour Foreshores some getting in line almost 12 hours early there were total of 23,000 individual fireworks 13 Aerial shells 40,000 ground effects that were fired off in 16 locations including barges, drone carrying platforms, CBD buildings & the Sydney Harbour Bridge which was also illuminated by 20 sky tracker light beams & there were 26,500 lightshots at the bridge & the firework shots were in 264 spots on the bridge with 80 new positions on the western side of the bridge for the fist time ever so yeah the worlds best New Years Eve every year & OHHHHHHH thank you to the Fotis greatest NYE pyrotechnic operators in the world
Why don't you make a plan to bring you and your family here for New Years in 2026 Ryan!??!!? Start working on it now. I'm sure there will be an Aussie family who will put you up for a week or so to be here for the event! Come on Aussies, what say you?
Don't you think he'll feel more comfortable in a hotel or resort I couldn't imagine living with someone you don't know from a bar of soap
@@deboraholoughiln1152 It's has been my long and wealth of experience that Australians are very friendly and accomodating to visitors to this country. But yeah, so proud of my city and every year we think we've reached a pinnacle, and every year it's better than the last. The Foti family deserve so much credit. HAPPY NEW YEAR and all the best wishes to everyone for 2025! Cheers from Oz!!
Ryan, I hope you watched it again - without interruptions.. its worth the watch!
Happy New Year from North Queensland Australia.
Would love to see you watching the fireworks live for the next New Year. They just keep getting better year after year.

Best fireworks display with the best pyrotechnician's in the world!!
Cost 2024/25 = $7.8M
Fun fact: 1976 was Sydney's 1st ever NYE fireworks display.
We also added a 9pm show for the kids which was a great addition.
I'm old & I've seen every NYE fireworks since 1985 -2024/25 & hope to many more
Agreed, just put the phones down and live it.
I watched it live, it's the best I've ever seen.
Happy New Year Ryan and family 🎉. The fireworks were stupendous but my favourite bit was the bit where while everyone was waiting for the countdown, Robbie Williams sang John Farnhams’ “You’re the Voice “ and everyone joined in. That was special.
Brought a tear to my eye. We went to bed early after a long flight back from Perth and missed these fireworks. I am so proud to be a Sydneysider born and bred.
We love our little city, we love our little country.
Happy New Year Ryan and Family 😊
Happy new year. The countdown happened on the concert stage outside the Opera House, with the performer Robbie Williams and the hosts of the concert telecast from Channel 2 ABC who have hosted this for the last few years. The fireworks are put together by the Foti family who have been doing fireworks in Australia for decades.
Not sure if Ryan knows who Robbie Williams is, one of my American daughter in laws told me that he isn't really known in the states.
Absolutely stunning...Sydney is amazing. The biggest city and most populated in Australia. Every time I go there, I'm in awe of the Opera House, Harbor bridge, Center Point tower. Amazing iconic city.
Happy New Year Ryan! Thank you for all of your reaction videos. You have cracked me up at least once per reaction throughout 2024, so you have legitimately made me smile and laugh every day! 😂 Wishing you and your family a stress free and fabulous 2025 ❤
HNY Ryan!
The music accompanying the fireworks was specially composed for the occasion.

There was over a million people around the harbour watching this, I watch it on the telly as I live 4 hours away, we have fireworks over our river starting at 9pm lasting about 20min so I get to watch our town fireworks live, then Sydney on my telly at midnight yay. Happy New year to you and your family Ryan ❤🎉

I'm so pleased that you did this, as my TV isn't picking up the channels at the moment, so I wasn't able to watch the amazing Sydney Firework display this year. I didn't want you to skip through it, but I understand. I loved seeing your jaw drop at the magnificence of it. Happy New Year Ryan and family 🎆🎉🥂 I'm from Melbourne, Australia and decided to watch Melbourne's fireworks, it was spectacular !!!! But I have to say, with Sydney having the iconic bridge, they sure outshone everyone again this year 😀🥰💜

Sydney's new year fireworks are amazing but Melbourne had its own amazing display this year. Please take the time to have a look.
Happy New year, Ryan and watchers. May 2025 be an excellent year!
I am born and raised in Sydney and you have to experience these fireworks live once in your lifetime. The video doesn’t give it justice.

yeah you were right in the finale then zipped forward xD I watched it live on Aussie TV. Sydney has like the best fireworks in the world and they plan it all year. Happy 2025.🥳
The music was composed especially for the theme of the fireworks show . Luna Pan is a local award-winning composer who has created soundtracks for films, television, theatre, video games & World Wide Web videos.
Love this comment.,I am in Melbourne and agree with everything you said😊
Its an absolutely incredible experience in person, I've been 4 times. I certainly would never battle those crowds only to stuff a great moment by watching it through a 15cm phone screen glued to my face!!
Nothing beats Sydney New Year’s fireworks! There’s upwards if a million people gathered on both sides if our harbour!
The thing about the Sydney Harbour Bridge whenever I visit is just how huge it is in real life. The TV shrinks it and by extension one needs to imagine how huge this show is. I've never managed to attend. Maybe for the bucket list.
Next year you should come here and experience the awesomeness with your family. Happy new year Ryan (or, Ryno in Aus)!
Happy New Year Ryan🎉& Family🎉
Fun fact we gave fireworks in most towns put on by our local councils.
My town of under twenty thousand people has it down by the river at 9pm with a family fair type atmosphere food vans etc from 5pm
Ours went for 10 minuetes & was really pretty.🎉
Hi from Sydney Australia, that was our new years fireworks. Of course I didn't go this year, used to go as a young girl. Watched on TV, happy new years so far 2025 has been a hot one
Me - a proud Aussie 🇦🇺 who lives in North Queensland, watching your reaction matey 🥲💛🎆 Made me more proud to be an Aussie than I did NYE watching this spectacular show at midnight with my partner and 3 kiddos ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Your reaction was so humbling 🤗 Thank you so so much for reacting to this 🙏 ❤
I watched it live from Perth which meant I could go to bed at 9. 😂😂😂
Happy New Year Ryan. I could see the fireworks from the rooftop of my apartment building. Epic!!!
They always out do themselves Sydney fireworks are the best
Happy New Year Ryan. Yes it is spectacular Sydney Harbour N Y E. You will have to make your way over, you would be very welcome
Love some of your happy expressions to this one, it's like I could see your inner 8 year old enjoying himself fully.
Happy New Years to your little family, I bet Jas is getting bigger now 🥰
Fireworks are big for Australian New Year not all to the Sydney Harbour level but in my suburb in Melbourne fireworks go off and the Beach suburb
down the way people drive to the beach area and watch a quite healthy firework display
Yeah, I heard some locally in my little country town in SE Qld.

Happy New Year to you & your family Ryan ! Hope it's a fantastic one for you all !
Melbourne fireworks were fabulous this year too. It was in 27 different areas. You could see it from miles away. Happy New Year.
Melbourne apparently used 5 MORE tons than sydney this year!
They've just done a recount and found we were once again one teaspoon short.@@peachescantplay
Yet again a Melbourner trying to compare diamonds with coal.
"But our coal is BIGGER!"
Except even then it isn't because we to had over 20 launch sites around the city you probably failed to count.

Also in the harbour while we were waiting for the fire works they had lots of proformeances including Robbie Williams who did a performance
Cool!
ngl for me the Sydney New Years Fireworks were impressive 20+ years ago, since then they look the same every year. You could say I take them for granted but it's kinda like being impressed by how beautiful Sydney harbour is the first time you see it and then it becomes a normal thing you see everyday because you live there.
Hi from Western Australia. Just want to say that my algorithm is pretty serious and even gruesome (Gaza, Geopolitics, Sudan, Syria, USA...) but I set an alarm for 2pm to tune in and see what you are reacting to next 😊 I am not even sure why.
