  • This tutorial will show you how to crochet a simple lace baby romper. This romper is suitable for beginners.
    For size 0 - 3 months use a 3.5mm crochet hook
    For size 3 - 6 months use a 4mm crochet hook
    For size 6 - 12 months use a 4.5mm crochet hook
    For my romper I used a 4mm crochet hook and Drops Baby Merino yarn (fine weight).

    Another beautiful video thank you for all that you do. A while ago you had a baby onesie I was able to follow along easily. I tweaked it by leaving it open on the bottom & adding buttons for easy access to change Baby. But when I went back to do another onesie the video was gone. I was wondering if you can bring it back?

    please give gauge measurements for this lovely romper. I would like to make several in different sizes & am currently working with a size E or 3.5 mm hook. I am a looser crocheter & the gauge helps me making decisions for hook size.

      It appears this baby romper is being made with US crochet instructions. I sometimes have problems with sizing due to a very tight tension. I have found that I have had to go up one or two crochet hook sizes to get the proper tension/size. Or maybe you are using UK crochet terms vs. US crochet terms?? Or maybe the thread/yarn you are using is not the right size? I am not really sure why as I am just making suggestions. Here is a link I found that will convert US crochet terms into UK crochet terms. I hope this helps and I would be interested in hearing how this/your issue is resolved!! Good luck!!

      @woolywonderscrochet7586  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Vicki, if you find that your work is coming out small try using a slightly larger crochet hook or thicker yarn. It is probably just that your tension is tighter or your yarn is too thin. I hope this helps x

    I used 3.75 hook & this romper is huge, looks like at least 18 month size. Going to finish because this takes a while but the size hooks for the size seems way off. Your videos are lovely & simple to watch. Just had a problem with sizing. Thank you.

    • @woolywonderscrochet7586
      @woolywonderscrochet7586  7 лет назад

      Thank you. This pattern is definitely the correct size, it may just be that your tension is not as tight. What size yarn are you using? x

    • @irenebean7137
      @irenebean7137 7 лет назад

      Called "I love this yarn" 100% acrylic, a 4 medium weight. May be too big of yarn?

    • @woolywonderscrochet7586
      @woolywonderscrochet7586  7 лет назад +1

      Yes you need to use fine yarn to get the correct sizing :) I hope this helps x

    The lady doesn't tell you that you need to turn the garment inside out to do the whip stitching. Otherwise the seam will be on the outside and it will look ugly.

    Δεν φαίνεται καλά η κάμερα πρέπει να είναι μπροστά να φαίνεται το πλεκτό. Δείχνεις από πλάγια δεν φαίνεται. Και είναι πολύ ωραίο μπράβο σας αυτά που πλέκεται. Αν είναι δυνατόν. Να δείχνετε από μπροστά η κάμερα είναι καταπληκτικά αυτά που πλέκετε. Εγώ είμαι. Αρχάρια. Τώρα ξεκινησα. Είναι πολύ δύσκολο για μένα. Ευχαριστώ πολύ
