  • @sownlyme

    I do love this pattern but I am really struggling to see exactly where you put the hook into the work and wish the video was a little bit clearer in this respect because I can see how important it is. If possible to pause the video and do a close up of exactly which stitch you are going into would really be so helpful especially row 9 where you say to work a dc into every chain space....I think I am seeing chain spaces where there might not be one so it's not working out correctly. My yarn is dc and sparkly so isn't as clear as yours.

    • @cindyfoster4353
      @cindyfoster4353 3 года назад

      I agree, got this far….and can’t find the chain space? Appreciate the pattern and video tutorial but can’t find spaces to make squares hole pattern like when you are done that row

    • @barbaramacdonald7440
      @barbaramacdonald7440 2 года назад +1

      It’s really pretty clear. Just separate the double crochets and you will see the chain space between the clusters of double crochets. I think just a little more experience and stitches that are even like hers will make those spaces easier to see.

    • @karenwyld4914
      @karenwyld4914 Год назад

      You could try chaining a little looser. If you look you can see the sc stitch into the below row and can then see the stitch goes in-between and in between the clusters. I found it easy but I have been crocheting for many years

    • @karinbren
      @karinbren 11 месяцев назад

      You can also reduce the speed of the video to see exactly where the hook goes in to.

    • @woolywonderscrochet7586
      @woolywonderscrochet7586  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Ellis, Thank you for your purchase. If you have followed the pattern correctly and are using the hook and yarn weight stated in pattern, the armhole should fit ok. If you think your dress is coming out too small, try using a 4.5mm crochet hook - it may be that your tension is tighter. I hope this helps, for any other questions it would be better for you to contact me through Etsy conversations as there is a chance your comment may get missed on here. Thank you x

    Dear Miss WoolyWondersCrochet, I'm a beginner to intermediate crocheter, but may I ask your suggestion on how many chains should I make (as the basic) for this dress - for a six years old girl, if I'm using very thin (I don't know exactly what size it is, but I guess it's a lacy cotton yarn - I live in the tropical country so I cannot use thick yarn due to the hot climate).
