One of the most popular Super Sports cars of the last decade has been the Audi R8! For 2017 Audi has completely redesigned the R8 into what may be the best and most useable Supercar on the market today!
On this episode of the Targa Trophy Ride Check, we test the day to day functionality and extreme performance of the new R8 throughout the concrete jungle of Downtown Los Angeles and some of the most EPIC roads in all of the United States to find out just how good this new R8 really is. Our goal, to answer the ultimate question - should you consider adding one to your stable if you have the means?

Gardy Nicolas 90% of the shots are staring at a dude's face while talking or the typical close-up, static, three-quarter rear/front shot. There's only a few drive-by and other types of external driving shots and even those are quite repetitive front-to-rear drive-by shots from quite repetitive angles, zoom settings, lenses / focal lengths, etc. I'm not saying the video is terrible but there's nothing great or stand-out about it in my opinion other than the post-processing which gives the image a very nice and professional deep, contrasty look.
How do you go about removing the taste of poo from your tongue?

Nice review. I really wish their was a review of the V10 base model with STOCK exhaust. I guess I really won't know what mine will sound like until it arrives in October :) First in Hawaii.
Sounds nice with the stock exhaust. And it took that long to get one to Hawaii? Wow, Vancouver's had them coming in since the spring and we're usually last to get stuff :P. How long did you have to wait. I'm getting told 9 months until an allotment is free on the boat for mine :(.
I'm still waiting. It's in factory status as of right now (Sept 25, 2016), no VIN yet. It gets into San Diego Nov 10 ETA. Hawaii Dealer delivery date is estimated 12/22 - 1/24/2017. Mine won't technically be the first 2nd Gen R8 in the state. Audi Hawaii was given one allotment of a white Plus. It was sold before it got to the showroom. Nobody has seen it. I begged to get a second dealer allotment and had to put down a hefty deposit. I followed you on Google + Check my YT channel in Jan. I'll be posting vids side by side with my wife's 2016 TT, also in gray. Woot!
deepgreendream Not too far away now! I'll definitely keep my eye on the channel! The new TT is a fantastic car, too. A little small for me as a daily driver but I'd love to rip a TT RS around a track. It's a pity whoever snagged the V10 Plus doesn't drive the thing. It's not really a garage queen type of a car. Congrats on the new whip and I'll be waiting jealously until mine finally gets here. It hasn't even been built yet! The wait is killing me!

Holy fuck this Audi R8 is just amazing I mean props to Audi for making such a driver focus vehicle. Fuck the buttons and keep it minimal because this car is meant to have the window down and hearing that exhaust. And the spec on this.... the owner deserves a handshake it's just beautiful.
