    As a content creator, I really appreciate the hard work and time that went into making this video! This has to be your most labor intensive video to date! That turkey looked almost gold plated and wow, the tallow sure crisp it up. Almost like pork rinds or chicken skins fried in lard. You didn't skimp on anything with those delicious sides. Amazing video Bradley!

    I really like how you show the eating process. Sometimes cooking channels go through all the motions and then end the video after one bite. I personally enjoy this partbthe most!

    • @davidbuben3262
      @davidbuben3262 2 года назад

      Agreed. I've noticed this as well. If they don't eat the food at the end, you can't tell if it's any good. When you watch the cook or chef enjoying it, then you know. If it's really, really good, it's something you can't fake.

    Possibly my favorite Chuds BBQ video ever. You always bring the humor, which I enjoy very much, and then the added bonus of this menu!?!? The fried turkey, the corn pudding, the potatoes, that GRAVY?!? I don't think I've ever wished myself into a taste test more than at the end of this video. Superior work, Brad! Thank you!

    On Amazon there is a 24 lb box of tallow (close to a 3 gallon peanut oil) that is 1/3, $109, the cost of the wagyu tallow 290. I know this is a bit more than peanut oil but the key to McDonald's fries used to be beef tallow. Even buffalo wild wings used to use this, it really does make a great tasting super crispy skin on every thing you fry.

    • @djuell01
      @djuell01 2 года назад +5

      Yes I agree and tallow is way better for you too.

    • @taccosnachos

      Restaurants don't use 100% tallow, it's a blend called "pourable beef tallow" that is liquid at room temp.

    I made the corn pudding and it is fantastic. The fact you can do it all in a blender in like 2 minutes is a game changer. The herb clarified butter takes it up a notch. I put some chopped Hatch green chiles on top of mine. Goodness it was delicious.

    Not only are you really fun to watch and provide excellent content, but you inspire me to want to try new things. I've always just bought the cranberry sauce in a can, plopped it out on the plate and tried to slice it so it looks nice, and then anytime I used stock, it came from a box with a plastic lid. Not this year baby! Not this year! Thanks for all the work you put into these videos, truly entertaining and full of excellent tips, ideas, and motivation for people like me!

    duuuuuude. I decided to make turkey on smoker instead of deep fry this year, and here you are....:D Whelp, I am going to do the dry brine instead of a wet brine this time :)
    EDIT: ok, I'm fresh out of chicken carcass, and my local grocery doesn't have frozen chicken or turkey bones/necks etc.so, I bought about 16 whole chicken wings, brushed some duck fat in a sheet pan, and put those and the guys/neck from my turkey on to roast for the next bit. Two day stock, commin' up!!!

    Last turkey I made I injected it with bacon grease and herbed butter and then smoked it after dry brining for 24 hours. I smoked it on top rack of my pellet grill and put roasting pan under the turkey to catch the drippings for gravy. I liked it way better than the fried turkey method. I didn't use beef tallow to fry though so I might like this better!
