@@donnytello1544 Granidissimo! Si si, yes there are some Italians here! And just recently I met some international people at USC (California) that are also discovering the beauty of Ottorino, actually finally discovering his chamber and piano pieces, which are beautiful but not as much known/famous. Thank you so much for the uploads! Grazieeee
In the third movement Finale, Poulenc seems to forget that it is wrong of him to write a slow conclusion to his "Presto tragico"; a slow episode is ok, but to end the movement and the work "double plus lent", dissipating all the energy and momentum accumulated earlier? "Non". Too bad, since there was real promise in the first two movements.
What lovely music by an unexpected composer!
Very elegant music. Kudos to the duo!

I was about to mention it: this music doesn't sound any Italian: notable Russian or German influences😁 It sounds more like unknown Sibelius😊
Splendid "unknown" treat....Grazie, Padrino! di Messico......
Love seeing some Italian on here, I really do miss it. I swear I see more Turkish than I do Italian. Grazie paisan, cent’anni

Oops, this comment was supposed to fit with the previous Poulenc violin sonata. I type too slowly, evidently.
