      I was about to mention it: this music doesn't sound any Italian: notable Russian or German influences😁 It sounds more like unknown Sibelius😊

And just recently I met some international people at USC (California) that are also discovering the beauty of Ottorino, actually finally discovering his chamber and piano pieces, which are beautiful but not as much known/famous.

    In the third movement Finale, Poulenc seems to forget that it is wrong of him to write a slow conclusion to his "Presto tragico"; a slow episode is ok, but to end the movement and the work "double plus lent", dissipating all the energy and momentum accumulated earlier? "Non". Too bad, since there was real promise in the first two movements.
