She was not skilled to be in that position.
This is a multi million dollar institution that accepted new students this year.
I don't care what she says. What she did was unethical, but narcissists blame everyone else and will not accept accountability.
Why should I believe they will create a partnership for us to finish at a different school through a teach out agreement?
I have too many credits to be accepted at any other college.
New paltz is the only cacrep accredited program for counselors and only accepts 9 credits which isc3 classes. I have 39 so I would lose 10 classes.
For many transferring is not a possibility.
Only a teach out would allow us to keep our credits and finish.
They will he sued if they do not get a teach out agreement with another collwge that is cacrep for counselors.

Well, she said they couldn't have foreseen this because the decision was only made yesterday 😅😅😅 Total lies. Good luck to you. Hope you can find a place to finish out your studies.

What will you do for the people who receive essential services at the clinic? Where will the programs for people with TBI/Stroke get services now? That’s the question no one seems interested in answering except those who are directly negatively impacted. Why isn’t the media covering this?

This was not even a mediocre college when I attended it in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was a joke, a holding tank for young Catholic women between high school and marriage. Stupid rules, ignorant teachers, and money-gouiging were the norm. Fortunately, when I transferred to a real university, they accepted the idiotic philosophy (there was no philosophy taught) and theology (another joke) classes as fine arts credits. If you were from a public school, you were treated like a pariah. They had ceased reading students' incoming mail only two years before I began attended. I have no idea aside from money changing hands how they got NY State accreditation. They didn't get federal accreditation until the early 2020s. It has shut down 75 years too late. from asbestos sprayed on the ceilings in the first dorm, to the idiotic rules, to the ignorance of the so-called professors, this wasn't a college. It was an embarrassement.
