So excited to see where this platform is heading. We have cams now also Merc Racing is developing a bigger supercharger. A great time to own one of these cars 🎉😊
So if I'm currently running the 93Oct file on APR's Stage 2+ Ultra setup, and add these cams - would it have any benefit? I mean, if the tune isn't there to take advantage of it then it isn't going to show, is it? Also, what about fuel? Without the correct tune, you could end up running lean. That's a little scary.
dang this is awesome. these plus all other non fuel related bolt ons should allow a stage 1 car to be pretty dang close to 500bhp with pump gas and no meth without all the extra heat soak from more aggressive pulley ratios. gunna be a considerable cost especially if you pay for someone to install them, but this will most likely be a route i go in the future
Honestly no knock on the cams as they are a good mod just quite costly. Howeverrr I will tell you running 100% distilled water, having an upgraded coolant pump, and heat exchanger iats even on dual pulley setup are perfectly fine. If you are worried about iats you can still do a upper pulley with a 179 lower and that will help out vastly for power I personally runs. 196.5 with s 57.02 upper with a cwa100 coolant pump and unless its hot out my car has great temps
@@tylerspecht7553 yea honestly bro, ive done a TON of research on this, and youre right, if you do drag racing, or drive like a normal person on the highway and just do pulls, what youre saying is 100% true. but i dont drag race, and on the highway my speedo is rarely reading less than triple digits. i want a car that wont heat soak while im pushing it at over 130 for 70 miles straight. id love to dual pulley my S5, but from what im reading, even with all that cooling, a dual pulley car will start to heat soak when its running at high rpms continuously. if im wrong please tell me though, i really would like 500hp😂😂 ill being doing all those mods you listed even at stage 1, and im probably going to do stage 2 with a 179mm at some point. just hesitant to pull the trigger on that dual pulley ratio
@@mizaqenyad4269 ngl why are you going 130 for 70 miles 🤣 that's asking for a ticket🤦♂️. But yea I drag race so I am going for max acceleration. I actually have nitrous on mine believe it or not
@@tylerspecht7553 I live in a no chase state, if you fly by at midnight doing double the speed limit they dont even flip on the lights and pull out😂 but dang thats pretty sick man. one day when i can own a couple sports cars id definitely like to build a dedicated drag car. i cant even imagine the feeling of a nitrous hit!
Hey there! These camshafts will not work on C6 cars. We're currently evaluating cam files for B8/C7 cars at this time and hope to share more news about this soon!
While it isn't much, this is the right step to take if you want to make the most power out of the 3.0T Supercharged motor! As for sound, it is not aggressive enough of a cam to significantly change the exhaust sound. We didn't notice much of a change at all in sound.
This is awesome! I’m happy someone is still working on the b8.5 platform, Can’t wait to get these on my car in the future
I second this! This is why 034 is the best
Any chance you guys will work with CARB to get an EO number for these? That is the only thing keeping me from the purchase?

Will you be able to use these same cams for the EA839 ?
These camshafts are specifically for the EA837, not the EA839

We have not tested it with their tuning and can only state its success with 034 software.

Do you have any videos with a car with them installed yet?
We’ve got content in the works!
@@034MotorsportUncut okay sweet!
Sooo how much should I expect to pay in parts and install?

Do these cams work well at 8000rpm?
Are they compatible with the A6 C6 3.0 TFSI?

@@034MotorsportUncut u don’t see need for new pistons even on 8000rpm? Are they this good stock?
These camshafts are for early 3.0t not the later 3.0t. Will you release cams for the later 3.0t?
Our cams are verified for B8. We are looking at further validating B8.5 and will announce our findings when we have them.
Cams but still no e85? lol trash, still want these though
So $10k in parts and labor for an increase of 30hp? Does it make the engine make a more throaty sound? Like if you cammed a v8?
