Since Deeplings are Paganists like you said, The End in general has alot of symbolism on Christian Heaven(Especially in Dungeons, i'd recommend watching xatrix or WitherKing's Theories about The End), would'nt that make deeplings "fallen" enderman in someway? And The Leviathan has extreme similarity to Jean(both have purple and black colors,dont always stay on ground and drops an egg upon death).

I believe the Endermen and Deeplings will have a war at some point as the Leviathan is an inter dimensional predator. Heheheheh…

The coralsus could have been one of the naturally evolved Deep Ones of the Abyssal Chasm, as unlike other golems which are made of lieless material coral is alive and could hypothetically evolve to create complex moving strucutres. Furthermore, why would making golems please the alter? Why would they need to be locked up if they didnt want to escape? Prayers and sacrifices would make more sense, and the truth behind the prisons is probably much darker!
