    This is a really good video, I like that you're making videos about minecraft mod lore, that's sick as.
    I did want to note however, that the moon didn't form from the asteroid that killed off the dinosaurs, it likely formed from an exoplanet colliding with the earth early in its development.

    Most (if not all) creatures from the Primordial Caves are fusions of two or more extinct animals: grottoceratops is a ceratopsian with a thagomizer (the tail spikes from stegosaurs) and a horn that resemble that of the megacerops (an extinct rhino like mammal), the relicheirus resembles both the therizinosaurus and the deinocheirus (as stated in the video), the vallumraptor resembles dromaeosaur, a guanlong (as stated in the video) and also older depictions of ornitholestes (an important factor, since the Primordial Cave seem to draw a lot of inspiration from older paleomedia, such as Walking With Dinosaurs), the subterranodon has the beak of an anhanguerid pterosaur, the tail of an early pterosaur (such as a rhamphorhynchus or a dimorphodon) and the crest that resembles that of a geosternbergia (a now invalid genus, being considered another species of pteranodon), the atlatitan resembles various sauropods, such as the brachiosaurus (with the nostrils on top of the skulls being common in older depictions), the argentinosaurus and sauropods like amargasaurus or bajadasaurus for the neck spikes (which is also a trait of older depictions of the animals, since now they are thought to have had a sail covering those spikes), and the trilocaris is a clear fusion between a trilobite and an anomalocaris. The only inhabitant of the Primordial Cave that doesn't seem to be an actual fusion of animals is the tremorsaurus, which just resembles a generic tyrannosaur (though the comparison you made with the gorgosaurus is very valid, since both have those small spikes above the eyes, so maybe a tyrannosaurus and gorgosaurus fusion?)

I believe maybe he was part of an ancient builder community that survived past the attacks of the wither and warden and was the last of a line of nobles that had gone to the time where the Anceint Builders in the end became endermen as endermen attacked the noble as he was riding a horse and he put on a pumpkin to protect himself but it was too late.

    One could do a creative freedom at doing a narrative for the hybrid, especially mammal one since there is a cave focused on prehistoric mammal (Cenozoic) which also more magic based than primordial caves

    I'd argue that the subterranodon is a lineage entirely unique to the caves. The presence of a developed tail means it's likely from dimorphodont or rhamphorhynchid ancestors, presumably the latter given it also has a beak. The beak's similarities to other pterosaurs would be convergent evolution. This means the subterranodon lineage hails from somewhere in the Jurassic.

    • @CraftingTheories
      @CraftingTheories  Месяц назад

      Yes, the tail threw me for a loop. I would agree it’s quite reminiscent of a ramphorhyncoid, it was actually a part of the script before but it just felt like fluff so I took it out. The lineage could entirely be unique to the caves!

    1. The one simular to one on earth at the end of Cretaceous, that led Dinosaur to go underground (Relicantus Most Likely was already there before them).
    2. Luxtructosaurus Event that led to Extinction of some Primodial Species.
    3. The Piglin Invasion that forced people underground (Becouse of how deep Primodial caves are, rarer resources are eventually found. That Led to counterattach from ancient builders, pushing Piglins back to the nether).

    Here's a lore tangent (could very well be incredibly-inaccurate); is the Grottoceratops a modern decendant of Psittacosaurus? Okay so, Psittacosaurus was a Ceratopsian with dark brown and dark orange markings that it used for countershading, the Grottoceratops is a Ceratopsian with dark brown and dark orange markings and a greenish-golden underside, that is almost-certainly countershading. Another thing to note is that the Grottoceratops has very-pronounced metatarsals, making its legs almost look backward-bending, something other Ceratopsians of a similar size don't quite have, unlike Psittacosaurus, which _also_ had similarly-emphasized metatarsals. Typical large Ceratopsians also had short, basically-useless tails, meanwhile the Grottoceratops has long and strong tails that even possess Stegosaur-like thagomizers which it regularly-uses during combat (probably to defend its otherwise-exposed backside), and similarly, Psittacosaurus had defensive, bristle-like spines on its tail - is it possible that Psittacosaurus evolved its quills into thagomizers in the same vein to how Rhinos' horns are made of keratin?

      No the luxtructosaurus is an atlatitan, it’s being vague so you collect more cave tablets to find out what that species is. The whole concept of the luxtructosaurus is based on a zombified argentinosaurus in the show Primal, where it kills off a lot of its own species

    I see a lot of paleo fails already
    First trilobites died out 252 million years ago, as a result of the Permian-Triassic mass extinction event, Eryops lived before the Triassic (from the Carboniferous [?] to the Early Permian), Labyrinthodonts aren’t even a valid group anymore, therapsids evolved in the Permian period, and them and other non-mammal synaspids are now called stem-mammals, not mammal-like reptiles, pudesosuchians didn’t evolve into dinosaurs, dinosaurs came from a separate branch of archosaurs, the same branch as pterosaurs (Avemetatarsalia, which I might have misspelt) instead pudesosuchians became the crocodilians that we have today (which were much more diverse in the Mesozoic, but their diversity began to decline in the Cenozoic until sometime in the Miocene epoch).

    • @din0boy1studios56
      @din0boy1studios56 Месяц назад

      Also, all of the dinosaurs are confirmed to be descendants of the ones from the end Cretaceous of Mongolia (mainly in the Negmet formation), so no proceratosaurs, ceratopsids, or brachiosaurs, but YES tyrannosaurs, dromaeosaurs, leptoceratopsids, deinocheirids, and titanosaurs.

    The reason I think you go faster in the nether is because it's under the world! If it's closer to the core of the earth then it's most likely smaller do to limited space. So I don't think it was the piglins who killed the dinosaurs! But also not a meteor.... A flood. If you belive the ice age Nether theory (in which people theorize that the nether had an ice age...) Then the minecraft earth is warming up! Which in doing so, melts the snowy and frozen biomes, as well as the mountain tops... Even though it must have not been a large flood due to the larger amount of CO2 decreasing the amount of ice....there is evidence that leads to the distance of ice at the primordial time period (such as the tremorsaurus and atlatitan variants having blue mouths, which happens to an animal when they live in a cloud inviorment, such as the polar bear). So it was a small flood... But still at least 10-30 blocks tall. A flood that large is sure to make somewhat a mass extinction! That's it... Sorry for the paragraph... If your reading this then I'm happy you like reading! I'm happy to make a comment on one of the first minecraft mod lore videos! This is taz (also know a Dino "not my real name... Neither is taz") signing out! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

    Stop getting the Paleontology wrong. Too many misconceptions. Too many Jurassic World Evolution photos. Brachiosaurus had its nose at the tip of its snout and did not have a large crest. The Jurassic Park design is more closely to Giraffotitan. Also, if you look at the Vallumraptor, it has the toe claws. And you keep underestimating how much evolution could take place. Just please factcheck stuff instead of going off of really common myths, next time.
