Thanks, you, you're the first person out of all the different reviews I've listened to that went over how the unit sounds. This is why we buy aftermarket units. I'm looking at the Sony 9500ES and the Teyes CC3 which is less than half the price. You went a long way towards helping me make the decision to go with the Teyes.
Glad I could help, like I said in my video when it comes to Cars & their sound systems I am a novice I’m a tech aficionado but not when it comes to this kind of equipment, what I can tell you is, if sound was an issue for you pertaining to this one, I can effectively tell you there are no issues the sound is just fine.
Crazy how I just found you channel today and you posted the 1 year update. I appreciate your review from the perspective of solely a customer. I'm definitely getting this one!
Hi! I just installed my Teyes CC3 on my car but seems like I can't find any help about two things: How do you move or remove the apps icons in the bottom left of the main screen? I can add more apps but can't remove or move them. And how do you find the WiFi connection of the head unit? Whenever I activate my iPhone hotspot and connect the CC3 to WiFi, after some minutes it loses signal and disconnect from WiFi. I can't understand if it does this because I'm not using any app that uses internet data or what but it's pretty frustrating.
Hyperlink to where we can Buy this radio at please. And the Mirroring device. (Ps) does it have a (HDMI CABLE) to watch Movies directly from your phone to the radio. Thxs 🙂
When you got a good Android headunit you don't need to use Android auto the headunit does it all. You can just tether your phone to the headunit for wifi your good.
Great review, I love the smaller channels. I often get a more genuine feeling from those. Your channel is on top of those so I'm sorry to grow it a tiny bit towards a biggie channel by subscribing 😁 Keep it up, best regards from Sweden.
From where we can get cc3 360 camera gets installed as it seems one need to dig some holes in left and right mirrow and front and back grills as well. Any idea in PA- NJ- DE area?
Do you pay for a separate sim card for it, or just use a mobile hotspot to run it? I was thinking I'd just use android auto for normal commutes...and then use a mobile hotspot to run the Teyes UI for longer trips. Waiting for the correct panel to arrive to fit it into my car. Thanks for the video
I don’t have a SIM card but it does give you that option to use one. I use a hotspot or the hotspot on my phone for internet. It does the job just fine. This radio is legit and thanks for comment man much appreciated
Wiring harness as far as what hooking it up cause if that’s your question then yes. I’m sorry bro I’m not car savvy I took it to an audio installer to put it in but it pretty much comes with everything
@@876Tropics oh that’s what you’re asking yes it is plug and play really is the audio installer told me I wasted money taking it to him but I told him I don’t know anything about cars. It is plug and play seriously
How many of your car's original features were you able to keep? I mean like, were you able to hook up the factory rear cam, keep stock USB ports; things like that.
Pretty much all of them really steering wheel controls everything I bought the camera but didn’t need it because the stock one works just fine if you check my other 2 videos I talked about it
Well since he never responded I will, No you don’t need the 128 model it’s a preference, but you’ll get a smoother interface with the 128gb model 6gb of ram so the lower ram the slower and less efficient the unit will be. However 4ram 64gb is more than enough ram to keep you happy. Myself I went with the best 128 version.
Good video, does It keep heated steering wheel, ventilated and heated seats, rear USB ports?. For example, I have read that although they have enabled a menú for climate controls nothing happens when you press on heated steering wheel
I guess it all depends on what model car you have i have heated seats in my Cherokee but not steering wheel. Everything factory works as it should the radio comes a whole unit to install in your car so it does protrude any of your vents or anything trust me when i tell you they thought of everything
@@IIGQII I get unlimited data on my tablet, with hotspot I only get like 3gb….. I heard Verizon doesn’t work with these head units 🥴 Why did you quit using TMobile sim 🤔🥴
@@MrMr123 I have T-Mobile and I have their premium plan which gives me 40 GB 5G hotspot that I can use even while on my phone. It was a no brainer for me.
I am thoroughly unsatisfied with the product and customer support. I'd recommend anyone and everyone never to buy their products or deal with them. I bought the CC3 with 2k upgrade for my Subaru BRZ. Android Auto over USB didn't work at all, only through wifi which was unreliable. Time doesn't even stay set properly after turning off and on my car. Trying to change temperature units from Fahrenheit to Celsius didn't work. External microphone didn't work. They advised me to upgrade firmware, which I did but didn't fix any issues. Even if they did, shows you how buggy the software is from the get go. Finally, the deal breaker was the unit would randomly reboot during usage which is unacceptable. The cutout didn't even fit properly in my car (I've seen other customers saying the same and needed to sand the clips) and is poorly designed and even if it did the built in clock on my car isn't visible because the unit sticks out. Finally I asked for a refund, even though it had been past the timeline they agreed. I shipped the unit to them and after waiting a month I heard nothing from them. I emailed them 3 times in total 2 months later and they ignored all of them. Finally, I requested a chargeback on my credit card and they responded to my credit card company, and they had the audacity to say the screen had been damaged on return so they charged $200 for that. So i was refunded the unit amount minus $200. They added some fax pictures which were totally black and I was unable to make out any details from it... Unfortunately, my CC company took that as "proof" and sided with Teyes. Since then I've just bought a simple Pioneer non touchscreen head unit and am 100x happier with it and it worked immediately. I'll just take the Loss on this and accept it and will be satisfied if this review saves anyone else the trouble. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS
I HATE this thing. I've had nothing but frustration with mine. It'll work great for weeks, and then suddenly, for no reason, lose some functions or change some settings. There is no support available, and the settings menus are an indescribable maze as if I could ever figure out how to undo the crap this thing does to itself. A total piece of crap. Avoid this junk.
That sucks it’s happening to you, I’ll say I’ve had it in my car for 2 years now no problem… I’m by no means a car expert so I can’t speak on anything but I’m in my car everyday and it functions perfectly fine. This readiness tailor made for my Cherokee
