Does this have wireless android auto

I am thoroughly unsatisfied with the product and customer support. I'd recommend anyone and everyone never to buy their products or deal with them. I bought the CC3 with 2k upgrade for my Subaru BRZ. Android Auto over USB didn't work at all, only through wifi which was unreliable. Time doesn't even stay set properly after turning off and on my car. Trying to change temperature units from Fahrenheit to Celsius didn't work. External microphone didn't work. They advised me to upgrade firmware, which I did but didn't fix any issues. Even if they did, shows you how buggy the software is from the get go. Finally, the deal breaker was the unit would randomly reboot during usage which is unacceptable. The cutout didn't even fit properly in my car (I've seen other customers saying the same and needed to sand the clips) and is poorly designed and even if it did the built in clock on my car isn't visible because the unit sticks out. Finally I asked for a refund, even though it had been past the timeline they agreed. I shipped the unit to them and after waiting a month I heard nothing from them. I emailed them 3 times in total 2 months later and they ignored all of them. Finally, I requested a chargeback on my credit card and they responded to my credit card company, and they had the audacity to say the screen had been damaged on return so they charged $200 for that. So i was refunded the unit amount minus $200. They added some fax pictures which were totally black and I was unable to make out any details from it... Unfortunately, my CC company took that as "proof" and sided with Teyes. Since then I've just bought a simple Pioneer non touchscreen head unit and am 100x happier with it and it worked immediately. I'll just take the Loss on this and accept it and will be satisfied if this review saves anyone else the trouble. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS

You had any issues like rebooting him self or freezing the screen? I want it to buy it the cc3 2k 6/128gb but I heard many complaints and issues with! I like the graphics on it and animations! I saw one was showing the climate control was so busy on screen! Is a new lenovo 510 2k out 8/128gb

Hi can you change the car porsche with different car brands from screen? How about when ringing a phone how is sounding? No body is showing climate control or themes or many stuff

I totally agree, if you wanna use Apple Carplay or Android Auto, you might as well get a cheaper aftermarket radio

Anyone know if this unit has a screen off function.. so you can drive with the screen off at night but it carries on play music, giving audio maps instructions etc?

That's really strange. The first thing I tried to remove an app in the bottom left section of the home screen is holding it down, but nothing happens. No options appearing and the app doesn't disappear.

Did you have to buy your car specific harness separately or did it come in the box

Hi! I just installed my Teyes CC3 on my car but seems like I can't find any help about two things: How do you move or remove the apps icons in the bottom left of the main screen? I can add more apps but can't remove or move them. And how do you find the WiFi connection of the head unit? Whenever I activate my iPhone hotspot and connect the CC3 to WiFi, after some minutes it loses signal and disconnect from WiFi. I can't understand if it does this because I'm not using any app that uses internet data or what but it's pretty frustrating.

I HATE this thing. I've had nothing but frustration with mine. It'll work great for weeks, and then suddenly, for no reason, lose some functions or change some settings. There is no support available, and the settings menus are an indescribable maze as if I could ever figure out how to undo the crap this thing does to itself. A total piece of crap. Avoid this junk.

Have you had any issues with the Teyes CC3 unit overheating or freezing during hot weather?

I have experienced two problems with my generic Android headunit, and I’m wondering whether the Teyes CC3 would be immune to these problems: 1) I bought a Unihertz Tank Android phone. When I connected to the headunit and tried to run Android Auto from the OEM USB port, it did not work. The unit uses ZLink Zjinnova software, and the Android Auto would load for one second then freeze. When I tested this on the OEM infotainment system of a 2023 Nissan Rogue, it worked flawlessly. 2) I bought a battery case from Amazon for my iPhone SE 2020. The battery case covers the standard Lightning port on the online, and the case has its own. The battery case does allegedly support charge and sync. When I connected to the head unit and tried to run Apple CarPlay, it would not connect. Without the case, with the car’s OEM USB port connected directly to the phone’s original Lightning port, it works okay. The unit uses ZLink Zjinnova software. When I tested this on the OEM infotainment system of a 2023 Nissan Rogue and 2023 Jeep Gladiator, it worked flawlessly. If I buy a Teyes CC3 or other head unit, I definitely do not want to experience these problems. Can you promise me that I will not experience these problems with Teyes CC3? If I want a flawless experience with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, do you think I’ll be better off with a Boss Audio head unit?

BUYER BEWARE!! NOT RECOMMENDED- I tried so hard to like this unit. T'eyes has shown me the worst support I've ever received from a company. This isn't even the complete list of straight failure that I've had to endure from a company that doesn't have it together at all. My wife has a Subaru and somehow her unit survived a small electrical fire at the power harness and the head unit (their own connection). I have a Lexus and the wiring harness is rather complex in comparison. The 10+ connector harness they sent with the unit was literally falling apart upon arrival. Install didn't work of course. Takes a few weeks to realize they don't have any documentation for the vehicle and are trying to trouble shoot a harness/circuit they don't even have a schematic for, let alone the understanding of how its to be connected. Of the 7 people I've been in contact with, the first three that the in box documentation directed me towards, weren't even T'eyes staff but with a major retail site claiming to be T'eyes. And only two responded more than once and they pretend to offer support while having no understanding of the situation or that what they are asking to be done has been completed and was unsuccessful. It really just gets worse with every attempt. They'll make me pay to get a refund and create more hardship. All they had to do was send a intact harness 30 days ago and I'd have a working product and they wouldn't have a former customer in disbelief. I even offered to buy one and they still won't do it.. Go with a better brand. One that wont ask you to rewire 16 points on a broken electrical harness that you already paid. I own an automotive aftermarket company so I had already done everything on my own with the Lexus schematic and it still the harness is too far into deterioration. I would need to hard wire my own intact harness so just my AC will work.. 8 chat messages, 4 web forms, 32 emails and 37 days, still no working unit and not a single question answered in a fashion that added any value different between T'eyes support and a duck. I wish I was joking BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK

Hello sir, thanks for covering this unit. Your review helped me decide to go with this unit and am very pleased with its performance and features having just installed in myself a few days ago. One question, I noticed that on the home screen, on the applications widget you were able to replace the default pinned apps. I've been trying for hours to bo avail but I can't seem to replace the 3 default pinned apps on the home screen (Video player, Equalizer, Teyes Yahu) May I ask how you were able to replace them?

Hey what was the exact setting you did on canbus setting? I don’t have steering wheel controls and I had the radio for over a year now lol

I thought for sure before installing my CC3 with canbus, I would need the 6volt converter to keep my OEM rear cam in my 2017 Hyundai, from all the installations I watched. Long story short, It was all plug and play after configuring the canbus for my vehicle, rear cam and swc works perfect, no converter needed. I really love this head unit.

I don't have steering wheel controls, and I noticed the 2K screen doesn't have audio controls on the left hand side. Is there another way to adjust the audio?
