owned one of those impala's before, for what it was it was, it was a great car, 2006 impala SS fully loaded drove it for 2 years no issues other then spark plugs changed, have had a 1995 impala SS burgundy one too last year but market was hot and buy and sell a lot of my cars when the price is right so try and drive my cars at no cost ideally.
Craig, if that E250 van was 4x4 and a diesel jump on it! They are very popular with the vanlife crowd and bring good money..not only that it already started being converted.
Awesome catch with the Impala, fender should be cheap enough to replace, might even be able to find one in silver at a yard. That car can be fun & still have a better than average profit margin. The Ford, IF the frame & underbody are rust free & you bought at short money then either the market IS dropping, or car stores are liquidating aged inventory to cover their floor plans. Enjoyed the auction walk around, keep up the good work & informative videos. 👏👏👏
Living in the U.K. I never cease to be amazed when I hear that most Americans can’t drive a manual geared (stick shift) vehicle. As a British resident the expectation is that you learn and qualify to drive in a manual car, with less that 3% of the population having an automatic only licence. The only explanation I can think of is that same as everything else, you guys do all of the same things that we do, just not as well. 😉
you don’t have any major English car companies left ( that aren’t German/ foreign owned.) Also why is England still occupying Northern Ireland ☘️. You guys are really good at some things like colonizing, and shifting gears in your small French/ German cars. You also proved your good at leaving the EU even if it kills the value of your currency. Your gdp is about the size of Texas and Florida combined 😂 ( excluding the other 48 states!).
At 1 time or the other i think ive watched or subbed to every car vlogger. Craigs the best, i swear you think & like the same things i do. Love the family too.Happy memorial day all.
I’m a dealer in Pennsylvania and I just bought a Chevy impala 09’ 179 k miles for $1,000 today in mint condition. It went through as an offer at first. Crossed my fingers and the auction called me and told me the guy said yes.
We don't deal with a lot of rust here in Phoenix at the dealers auction I work at. Love your videos bro. Been detailing here for 2 years now I want to buy and sell $1,000 cars that come thru🎉🎉🎉❤❤ clean them and sell them!!! Park them at my apartment there's room
old Hyundai's are disposable cars (basically good for 80-100k miles) - I call them throw away cars, also looks like someone was living in that Ford Flex
no power steering, that's the same problem that I have with mine, plus the suspension and the leaking of different fluids. Than and some electrical issues, other than that it's a decent car
Ah yes, the 9th gen Impala SS. I've owned my black 08 for like 8 months. 141k & already on its 3rd transmission. Surprised this one actually drove with 191k on it lol. DoD and transmission failure is super common on these. They have a lot of other issues as well - so much heat builds up in the fuse box that the wires get burnt behind it and prevent the fans from working, Power steering leaks are super common on the high pressure line going into the pump, blend door acuators go out all the time, oil leaks from the VLOM plate under the intake due to the bolts not getting torqued down at the factory, CV axles like to break because they're not built for that much torque, a bunch of random electrical issues (BCMs like to go bad along with TCMs)... the list goes on and on. All that and they only make about 300 horse power, mostly because they have a super restrictive intake due to the fact that the intake is actually on the engine backwards and they had to leave room for the oil pressure sensor.
I want that red Elantra GT. I already have a bunch of KDM parts for it. I used to sell Hyundai aftermarket parts. The Flex with the Ecoboost is basically a Taurus SHO wagon. That Pace Car is gonna sell for around $30k.
Unfortunately with that flex the issue is the needles in the car. You’re gonna spend a week cleaning that disaster out. First you’re gonna need a full bio suit and puncture proof gloves to take the interior apart. Then you’re going to have to literally toss everything. Then you’re going to need a biohazard rated hepa filtered vaccine to suck up everything you didn’t get. Then you’ll have to use a metal detector on the seats and you’ll have to strip the carpet down to the metal and reupholster it. Ideally you strip the seats and replace the foam or at least you find a professional reconditioner to clean them up. ( you replace the carpet to kill the stink) and finally you do a cleaning of the air vents. With that car it was pretty obvious they knew the bank was looking for them and the bank saw the mess in the car and decided to cut their losses and dump it at auction
Love the car for the engine but typical Chevrolet interior cheap plastic and leather. The main issue with those is the transmissions they were very weak and they would grenade all the time
You would have had to hire a specialty auto cleaner to deal with that and based on the stink there’s probably mold in the carpet. Would have cost you at least 2k to reupholster it plus the auction costs. ( loose needles are a biohazard and chances are you would have to have the seats recushioned and reupholstered as well) you would be looking at 1500 to 2500 to do the inside ( maybe less if you can get flex seats out of a boneyard). The infections you can get from getting stuck with a used needle range from HIV to blood infections to lord knows what. If your lucky after gutting the interior and replacing everything but the dashboard and wheel you might make 3 or 4K tops
Im actually looking for a cheap car myself right now $2000-$5000 range ,its tough finding a private owned 1 or 2 owner car with reasonable mileage ,the last one i found was in 2016 it was a 2005 ford escape xlt v6 awd 1 owner garaged with 45k miles ,and i paid $5900 ,at that time i paid up for it ,NOW i found the same suv ,same color same trim etc (its the same suv) this one has 61k miles and they want $8500 LMAO ,NUTS,I did find a 1 owner 2007 elantra with 73k ,but wen i looked it over the ac wasnt working and the timing belt was never replaced ,they wanted $4500 which i wouldve paid 4k if not for those issues but with the gamble of the ac couldve been a cheap fix or maybye not ,and the timing belt needed to be done oh and needed 2 front tires ,Well i offered $$3300 and they didnt take it ,A young girl ended up buying it right after me and she overpaid at $4,500 ,How do i know? I was still there wen she showed up and said she will pay the full price ,LOL She never even drove it,Amazing wat crazy people will do anyway the search continues for a cheap car
"People say there's no such things as a $1000 car" so to prove you wrong I'm going to go to a dealer only auction that you can't go to and buy a raggety p.o.s. for a $1000....
Did it never occur to you that perhaps that family was living in their van That’s why there was so much 💩 in there. Yeah some people are plain pigs but who knows. Feel for the kids living in those situations
I don’t know why but I always love a cheap car video even more than an expensive car video.
If your like me, would never buy a new or newer used car. Enjoy getting a deal on an older car or truck.
It gives me hope lol
Cause it’s more relatable
It’s more relatable
Hi Craig, this $1,000 car video was fun, do more of these now and then 👍
Craig, I always love the cheap videos because they are so relatable! Thanks
I love these cheap car videos. Keep flying Craig.
350,000 miles V6 mustang. Holy shit, amazing.
owned one of those impala's before, for what it was it was, it was a great car, 2006 impala SS fully loaded drove it for 2 years no issues other then spark plugs changed, have had a 1995 impala SS burgundy one too last year but market was hot and buy and sell a lot of my cars when the price is right so try and drive my cars at no cost ideally.

He already knows that and the van was neither
Buy the bunny, it's probably faster than a 1000$ car and more reliable too
Awesome catch with the Impala, fender should be cheap enough to replace, might even be able to find one in silver at a yard. That car can be fun & still have a better than average profit margin.

I saw that SS badge and thought, no way he got that under 1k. I was wrong, real nice car for 800.
More of these kind of videos, they are super fun
Get Ready to Replace the Transmission, GM Planned Obsolescence at it's best and worst for anyone owning a GM Product that is 8 years old or later !

Here in the USA many people refer to a manual transmission as a "millennial anti-theft device", because nearly none of them can drive one.
I'm American own Three Working cars two of them are Manual, Those are the only ones fun to DRIVE, Automatics are BORING ❗
Drove a manual transmission vehicle for over 25 years. Still can
At 1 time or the other i think ive watched or subbed to every car vlogger. Craigs the best, i swear you think & like the same things i do. Love the family too.Happy memorial day all.
The 2010-19 Ford Taurus SHO also had the 3.5 ecoboost as well. The Lincoln MKT and MKX also had it.
I know people like the "eco boost" but every time I read the word "eco" I hear "cheap and crappy, will blow up"
@@rnt45t1yep, samething when I hear Ford

Hey mind sharing what auction? I’m in Pa I use Capital Auto auction
Welcome to the LS4 world with that impala. I had a grand prix GXP with the same motor. Be wary of the trans, it's made of glass
Love the show Thanks.
what a crazy business to be in… always on the hustle.
We don't deal with a lot of rust here in Phoenix at the dealers auction I work at. Love your videos bro. Been detailing here for 2 years now I want to buy and sell $1,000 cars that come thru🎉🎉🎉❤❤ clean them and sell them!!! Park them at my apartment there's room
very very interesting video, a lot of fun stuff.. thanks!
Of course there js no rust on the 2015 F150 it's an all aluminum body.
Impala looks fun great buy!
Awesome video and papa Al too!. Lubricate the door
Cheap car videos are the best!!
old Hyundai's are disposable cars (basically good for 80-100k miles) - I call them throw away cars, also looks like someone was living in that Ford Flex
Just watched the show To Catch A Smuggler and they found a Chevy Impala just like that full of dope. They tore the heck out of it looking.
That’s a good deal .. it’s a great beater for new driver
Man I bet hanging out with Craig at an auction is a good time.
glazing
Hey from Michigan
no power steering, that's the same problem that I have with mine, plus the suspension and the leaking of different fluids. Than and some electrical issues, other than that it's a decent car
LOL , put the blindfold on & its a Rolls Royce !
Ran great when new
great stuff thanks
Looks like someone was living in that Ford Flex
Good video am curious do you buy for clients!??
Good luck finding rust on the body of a 2015 or newer F 150 ( Aluminum) body 🤣
It kind of looks like Ford may have fixed the corrosion issue that used to occur on places like the tailgates and hoods of aluminum panels.
🤣
How much was that Ford E250 Camper Van? I'm looking for one of those.
$1000 at the auction doesn't buy much "fun" these days! I love a nice SS just not many around these days! You did good.
Ah yes, the 9th gen Impala SS. I've owned my black 08 for like 8 months. 141k & already on its 3rd transmission. Surprised this one actually drove with 191k on it lol. That pilot was probably a good choice…. You need a dedicated body shop
The problem with the Impala SS’s is that they shred through transmissions, the Pontiac GXP (same engine) has a much better transmission
The 2015 and up F-150s don’t really rust since the body is all aluminum
Great way to get rid of tires and hazardous waste. Leave it in your car being repossessed
I want that red Elantra GT. I already have a bunch of KDM parts for it. I used to sell Hyundai aftermarket parts. The Flex with the Ecoboost is basically a Taurus SHO wagon. That Pace Car is gonna sell for around $30k.

Dang you got a great deal on the Impala SS!
“A auction you do not have access to” crags favorite line 😂😂
True
You have access to ALL of them dont let this dealer scare you away. He just thinks hes better than everyone.
That's a steal. You'd get 5-6k for that in Canada once you fix up the body work.
The Impala also has Displacement on Demand. 😥 (it says it on the valve cover)
Pull the pcm, send it off and have it turned off through software. Costs $50. Then they are quite reliable.
Love the impala
Prolly rack n pinion or a leak they’re so infamous for that , just bout an impala with the same issue but not a v8 😢
PEP BOYS SPECIAL 😅😅HILARIOUS
Hi, I still wanna know what have decide about your Audi's?
How much did that 2015 ford f 150 go for at auction?
I love impalas good buy Craig
Love the car for the engine but typical Chevrolet interior cheap plastic and leather. The main issue with those is the transmissions they were very weak and they would grenade all the time
How much did you pay for the f-150?
I'm looking for a cheap Toyota or Honda - daughters getting her license. :)
How can I buy a car from an auction in Dallas?
Hi from Belize 🇧🇿
In Atlanta that impala is $1800-$2k easy
Was there tburs night pulling out 5 vehicles
I would habe bought that Flex, clean up and sell for 11k. Values are high for Flex.
You would have had to hire a specialty auto cleaner to deal with that and based on the stink there’s probably mold in the carpet. please try buying motorcycles at auction 🔥🔥
Impala SS nice
Can you do daily vlogs?
That was a steal no way you getting a faster car for that price
Sunseaker? Cool thought they only made yatchs
You gonna need that lub for those cold revs lol
The f150 is aluminum won't have rust

Craig and his emotional support Honda Pilot 🤣
What year was the Impala?
Good question? I would have to go back and check. 2007 maybe?
What do you do with all the stuff in the car if you win it? Does the auction take it out or is it yours to deal with lol
🔥🔥🔥
I'm still waiting to hear what happened to his "vacation home" -- aka "money pit."
Heading up there today to shoot another video
I would highly suggest Facebook market place
What is the name of auction?
I'm just a sucker for cheap cars
No rust on the F150 because it's aluminum
I miss Craig’s beard
MAYBE YOU CAN SEND IT TO ONE OF YOUR DEALERSHIPS IN ENGLAND OR GERMANY .....
