It was a just a pilot for an idea for a film. Just as many others do, it did the rounds but either he lost interest in the end or it was just not taken up by any of the potential producers with the cash to get it off the ground. In addition, the old members of the Monty Python crowd began to grow old, illness and infirmity takes its course... It was a while back now.
