This car isn't about the numbers, it's about the experience. It corners fine, and you will only get 12 miles per gallon if you keep it in first gear and drive uphill bouncing off the rev limiter.
Cornering is perfectly fine in my '14 GT 'vert. I just bough the Goodyear Exhilarate A/S and everything is excellent all around. The power is there when needed as well yet the car behaves civilly in city traffic. It's an all around street machine. The best of all worlds and has the looks too. I think you are missing the point of 2014 Mustang GT 5.0L ownership.
This guy does not know what he is talking about; nor does he understand why so many people have bought these cars for so many years. The attraction to these cars is timeless. I only own 3 of these models and think the '13 and '14 are the best captured representation of the retrospective design from the late 60's early 70's applying current technology to produce an affordable muscle car; remaining true to their original vision. The people who follow these cars aren't looking for luxury or exotic materials and features, but raw performance at an affordable price. I average over 20 mpg in mine and get over 25mpg in my 550hp Shelby. What more can you ask for; unless you want a Prius.
I just bought a 2014 premium V6 convertible, and I LOVE the car. I didn't buy it for gas mileage (the V6, with 305 HP, is about the same gas mileage as the V8) or big cup holders, or interior room. If I had been looking for gas mileage, I would have bought a VW or a Civic, and if I had wanted interior room, I would have bought an SUV or a Cadillac. And, it's NOT a "barebones muscle car". It's loaded with features (with the premium model I actually got more than I wanted - just more stuff to go wrong). On one hand, this guy says he likes the styling, then bitches about little crappy, picky stuff. Get a life.
Hey David, Very nice videos of your channel. Good and neat work. I am in the dilemma of considering if i should go with a 2019 GT convertible or Coupe. I am staying in UAE. My concerns are the 8months of heat + dust. If the rag top is cleanable, will it fade and all. It would be great if u could give me some suggestion with respect to it. Thanks in Advance Rohit

2 be frank Mustang is all about hp/$ and looks other than that everything sucks, I will be more than happy to pay more to get a quality interior, atleast the quality of their Ford Focus compact sedan and a proper traction control system,now the Stang is 2 loose and its rowdy when we put pedal to metal, hope then 2015 Mustang will make Mustang a solid roadster as well as comfort cruiser and comes performance under the hood and proper TRACTION,other wise FORD will FAIL
I think the 2011-2012 were the best looking models. Since 2013 mustangs have gone downhill. Blacked out tail lamps ruin the look. The next gen mustangs will complety screw the nameplate. The mustang is known for this angular grille, but ford is deciding to thrown on the Aston Martin one. Whoever is in control of ford right now needs to be fired ASAP!

My 86 gets better mpg. The pony is becoming unaffordable. The Nissan Z bang is looking better and better.
I'm disappointed in ford on this one what a shame
