Those day ranking starts from position 2. Australia no.1 is reserved.
Right👌👌👌
@@bittuking8501 absolutely
@@bittuking8501 playing world cup was pointless from 2003 to 2007
@@sibghatmansoor5125 yeah, So true.
ps. deserved not reserved
Ponting was at his very best from 2003-2007
2001-2007
Ponting prime form:- 1997 to 2005
1997-2007
His prime was 2001 to 2006
This Australian team is the greatest team ever to play ODI cricket!!!
Any cricket.
The greatest in ODI’s and Test cricket.
Who knows how good they would have been in T20’s...
@@nayamsharjeelrafique369 watch West Indies in 1970s 1980s team and recommend
Agreed 👍
no the greatest team ever to play any format of cricket was west indies of 70 s and 80s
Postings front foot pull and martyns effortless pure timing cover drive, cant be defined in words just feel it!!!
Was beautiful Bright and sunny day , perfect condition for cricket...... Will never forget this series 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Those days when cricket was an emotion 😕
People will never realize just how good ponting, lara, tendulkar, kallis were. These players faced lighting fast bowlers and played to score 10,000 runs. Now days batsmen simply aren't tested as these legends were.
how true...Infact in my view his consistency and the knack to play this game to be the best was always visible and consistent.
As Tendulkar Lara Ponting Kallis faced both the 90's and early 2000's best bowlers tells a lot about their quality. now a days u have kohli who i think obviously going to sit with these legends cause he may score more than any of them. Steve Smith will be called the best test batsman of his era cause he has many match winning knocks all over the world for aussies. and then Williamson who i think will be more remembered as the captain like Fleming. i dunno why root is even there😅..
@@tamimahsan3085 lol this aged like milk
@@aadityabhandarkar5164 certainly is😂😂. now root is having the time of his life. kohli is in drought for the last 2 years. smith is obviously more suited to test and odi. and williamson is williamson.
@@shrinivast9256 I think the presently only Smith and root has that technique to play big bowlers.kohli and Williamson used to get out in their unfavorable conditions.smith despite being Australian has very good records on turning pitches and same goes for root but kohli and Williamson has not good records in their unfavorable conditions
You son of a gun PUNTER...6.06...what a marvelous catch🔥🔥
Such catch Tendulkar can also pick, no big deal.
@Darwin '04 Sachin is God of Cricket, no evidence is required.
@@KaranSharma-lm6eh show me one instance where he did this...
@@KaranSharma-lm6eh appreciate ponting for catch why you always compare with sachin he is a legend but even then he is poor in captaincy but ponting is the best and also you are saying it as no matter catch the ball and talk 😉
@@sunithasivakumar6761 sachin ala re.
That pickup shot by ponting against flintoff......
Lee got 5 wickets
Ponting got a ton
Royal entry to the honour's board for both...
Those days Australian team members were look like monster. All were superb in their department .
10:27 did anyone notice Punter's shot type & stance. It appeared like a shot from Steve Waugh's book.
Yeah he copies him a lot
Yes have seen it agreed its the same text book style from Steven waugh...
What a fine display of all-round cricket. Wish the current crop learns a thing or two from these legends. They lack a bit of resilience. They can be extremely good.
From 1999 to 2007, Australia was in their prime time
1998-2008
Gillespie had such a horrible English summer, even his double ton the following season couldn't help him retain his place in the side!
over that KP's heroism just dominated the aussie bowling unit.
@@paulamrana8981 why Kevin Pietersen was banned English cricket from 2014
Such a great all rounder and personality this fredy
Have you forgotten the final odi match of 2002 series against india??????
Louda..a shameless loser he is.... No ICC Trophy. Nothing.
Number 1 ka chutiya thha Flintoff
That was the time when cricket had quality and class..
Yes, today's era is pathetic
Those were the golden era for the Australian cricket team.

Even winning an ODI or test match against Australia was compared to winning the world cup itself.

What a spirit! #NeverDie
This Australian jersey has a separate fan base
That joursey of australia🇦🇺 was my favorite... The color of world champions 🏆🏆🏆
flintoff what a rockstar, brett lee what pace and swing
Gilchrist's flashing blade..🔥
Game changer with bat and ball Freddie..
Highlight of the match, Damien Martyn cover drive
Please upload the full Natwest Final of 2005 in similar quality!
It was the best final ever played till the 2019 World Cup final played at the same ground!
The moment commentator says:if you have the bat use it Vaughan and it is dangerous to this man (mcgrath) says how important mcgrath is for australia and nightmare for batsmen
All time great ODI player. No one comes even close.
Hussey not playing in the test series was a huuuuge shame.
You Beauty Ricky Ponting ♥️
2005: McGrath, Lee, Gillespie and Warne
2021: Hazlewood, Starc, Cummins and Zampa
Thanks to Smith and Clarke for forming a new quartet to relive 2000 era memories.
Idiot Zampa is nowhere close to Warne 🤣🤣
@@vipulkasana3709 no hes not he is very good but red ball is not his game
2005 team best h
HOW good was Damien Martyn to watch when he was in form.
Something
What a spell from Lee!
We knew Sachin has only one hundred at Lords, that's for MCC XI. But didn't know Ponting is also in the same boat.
Late 90s to early 2000s cricket is very Class 👌👌🔥🔥🔥
Blinder of a catch ponting u beauty
Love to see those classic cover drives from the bat of Martyn
Those Days
Childhood memories ❤️
Australia went in with 4 fast bowlers:
Mcgrath
Lee
Gillespie
Kasprowicz
No spinner strange
They had partimers like Clarke and Symonds
That team don't need...... They were well enough to win...
Shaun tait
@Charmineder Warne retired from ODI in 2003
Pitches in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa doesn't rely on spinners unlike dead pitches of subcontinent.
Ponting catch 😱😱😱
The First delivery by Brett Lee was just woow.... because given it was a ODI match... Nowdays the bowl hardly moves
All time legend Ricky ponting
What are wonderful breathtaking game
Sir Ricky Thomas ponting is always Lord of the pitch
Love to see Damien Martyn on the pitch..
A little generous to call a 7 wicket win with 33 balls to spare a "Classic ODI".
ikr lol
It is lords classic and also ponting has done it as a classic
Brad haddin and D Martin Batting style is similar
You made a video on the best cover drives at lords and never had Ponting or Martyn in it from this game !!!
GOOD OLD DAYS 😥😥
Trescothick was a legend for ENG
So happy that you don't announce the result in thumbnail :)
Flintoff is a great player❤️
This australia team all-time greatest team for ever... Legendary player all of them..
I miss the classical odi cricket
We wants more🤩
I love old matches
Australia winning playing away, India mainly wins at Home, Sri Lanka and West Indies 😃😅🤣😂
Bhai har jgah to jeete h Aus ,SA , wi, Sri Lanka , home series me sbko haraya hai kya Bhai th bhi
@@prateekshuklshukla6872 wrong. SA kab jeete Test Series, same for New Zealand. Home series ki toh baat hi mat kar.
Miss you Flintoof
Today's generation don't even know who was Ricky Ponting. Sachin Tendulkar & Ricky Ponting will always be my all time favourite
Those were the days when an Australian defeat was headlines. 🥺
Darren Gough, Steve Harmison and Alex Tudor the former English pace bowlers who should have played in IPL.
Wonderfull catch by pointing
Punter was a superb batsman during his playing days.
So rarely we see the ball hit so hard along the ground these days
9:21 i can watch this whole day
11:55 he celebrates ponting ton and whistle from the dressing room
Very good aussie bowling
Great aus
On of the legendary batsman ponting 🙄🙄👍👍
Gillespie at his best was unplayable, at his worst he was a pedestrian pie chucker. This game he served them up with extra sauce.
Aussie squad was so strong, except for weak all-rounders for the 5th bowler. I think this line-up was: 1. Gilchrist. 2. Katich. 3. Ponting. 4. Martyn. 5. Symonds. 6. Clarke 7. M Hussey 8. B Lee. 9. Gillespie. 10. Kasprowicz. 11. McGrath.
martyn was a silent killer in that australian side.
Just like Rahul Dravid in Indian team.
Freddie is superb !!! He is an absolute legend..... One of the very best cricketers ever.... Very sad to hear about his unfortunate accident.... Get well soon Freddie !!!!
Mere one sided Australian domination
Flintoff at his peak was 10 times bowler than Stokes or Botham...absolute nightmare to face at 150k with ball reversing..
As all-rounder he is definitely below Botham and stokes but as a bowler alone he is unmatched
FOR ME BEN STOKES IS A MODERN REPLICA OF VINTAGE ANDREW FLINTOFF ❤
Brett Lee And Shane Bond both are very handsome fast bowler 👍
Flintoof what's a all rounder
That catch from punter
Flintoff batting allrounder or bowling allrounder... I think he was both
Jason Gillespie was woefully out of form this series which ended his international career
This is emotion
Listen voice of crowd.. exactly same as EA 2007
era of Australian supremacy
I have never seen Micheal vaughan play a good inning
Same
No..he did play on bed and commentary box. A typical butturt British who can't bat but only talks rubbish and criticizes others
You won't in ODI he was crap. Test matches was a different story.
Just check it in ashes he scored 166 and his captaincy is the reason for england winning the ashes
Punter should of made a test tok there
Those day 🏏Al 2 all crupt
During those days in world cup
Other teams : we came here to win the world cup.
Australia: Then beat me if possible .
Michael Vugham playing test 🤣
I see Brett lee I click
Hayden?
ya stadium Australia ka hai ya England ka hai
Eng vs Aus Or Ind vs Pak
This Yellow Jersey was a nightmare for Indians
They used to be nightmare for every other cricket playing nations . The quality which Australia had showed from 1998 to 2008 was unmatchable.
1:32 KP's signature shot... And England ruined this monster 😏
Anyways watch Ponting 10:41
what about classic in this
Kohli looks like ponting in disguise
Kohli fakes his aggression
Classic? Australia cruised to victory 😂
Professional cricket is all about IPL nowadays
What is the classic in this match...one sided domination
