    Which Map are you running. Is there a breakdown/list of the maps? I have the N63 non TU i just installed it and I really wasn't impressed. I dont want to try other maps until I know what they are for. Kind of surprised BMS doesnt have this listed or more info online. Maybe I just cant find it. Nice Video !

      Erick Garcia I am currently running user adjustable Map 6. Map guide:
      Map0: JB4 disabled
      Map1: Additive map, up to 5psi requested over stock
      Map2: Additive map, up to 6psi requested over stock
      Map3: Absolute map, 18psi peak, BCM suggested
      Map4: Stock with CANbus active for logging and in dash gauges
      Map5: Absolute lower torque map ramping up to 20psi at redline, BCM required
      Map6: User definable map generally used for diagnostics
      Map7: Absolute map, 23psi peak, BCM + fuel control wires required
      Map8: Progressive WMI map, boost varies based on meth flow and boost additive on the WMI page. BCM suggested.

    • @splittlive

      Not sure of the technical reason, but with the MAF plugged in the JB4 will not run correctly.

    • @bimmersimon4871

      If you unplug the MAF sensors, then the motor is running in Alpha-N mode, which means it is running on a predefined map and not on the measured air mass. Looks like the JB4 is tuning the motor in Alpha-N mode.

      Is this going to be the case for the N63? Unplug MAF sensors or get a harness kit to leave them in? have a 2011 and planning on doing the cold air intakes and JB4

    • @bimmersimon4871
      @bimmersimon4871 4 года назад +1

      @@painkiller5766 It looks like there are two different options:
      1: F Chassis N63tu stage1, where you plug a module between the OEM plug and the MAF sensor
      2: JB4, where you unplug the MAF sensor only for the N63TU according to the recommendations of the install guide.
      -> RTFM ;)

    • @splittlive
      @splittlive  4 года назад +2

      With the JB4 for the n63tu, there are no wires to splice, it’s all plug and play. The selection of maps and tuning is built into the JB4 app available on iOS or Android.

    • @supahone3
      @supahone3 4 года назад

      Let me clarify, in the video there were a bundle of connections you chose to not install into the cpu harness. Are you saying map 2 directly from the jp4 is giving you all those power gains without making additional adjustments ?

    • @splittlive
      @splittlive  4 года назад +5

      Supah One yes, those are the bcm connections that connect to the boost solenoids, I have another video coming out soon showing the installation of those connections. The current gains on map 2 are only from the tmap sensors on the intercoolers. In order to increase power from there, the addition of the bcm sensors are necessary. The installation of the bcm connectors are a little more difficult as you have to move the passenger side intercooler to gain access to the boost solenoids. Map 2 gains achieve about 5lbs over stock boost along with other tuning with the ecu. To add additional boost the bcm connectors will need to be connected. The n63tu should be able to run about 20lbs on 93 octane. To run more boost than that, you would need to run meth injection or a ethanol gas blend. I hope this helps.
