Wow! I just spent a $100 before I even had my coffee😂. Two influencers I trust and always guide me to excellent skincare are Gothamista and Penny Smith.
I give my body a full chemical peel once a month, wash with BHA/AHA three times a week, and moisturize with shea butter or Nivea body cream. This is a relatively affordable way to get results. I always cover my body and put sunscreen on my hands and feet. My skin is very nice.
@@danaso2567 I use peels from make up artists choice or platinum skincare. I buy them and do them at home. Platinum skincare has amazing instructions and lots of RUclips videos. It’s really hard to mess up if you’re following directions.
My list (cheaper options): -drugstore body wash (dove, aveeno, Nivea, etc) or soap (dove bar soap, sensitive) -lotion (la Roche posay lipikar lotion or any drugstore one you like aveeno, olay, cera ve, etc)
Another good retinol body lotion is the one from Gold Bond. It's a bit stronger (0.3%, I think), a little cheaper. The texture is one of the nicest ones I've felt from Gold Bond, and there are other actives ... I can't get to my tube right now or I'd list them.
I love the necessaire body serum! With pregnancy my skin got so dry, the hormonal changes effects are no joke! And put a moisturizer on top even though it's summer here. It makes a huge difference. I also really like the Josie maran body serum with body butter on top for the winter. My favorite is the body butter with pro retinol, but can't use that during pregnancy of course. They do have a nice plain body butter too.
I 've looked everywhere - No company currently in the market is doing serious body retinol. The skin in the face is way more sensitive than the body and 0.10% is a starter concentration for the face. I currently use 2% retinol on my neck and chest with no issue. Body retinol can be a lot more potent.
Can you please share the font you use in your text overlays? It’s so clean, classic, and legible. Thank you so much (and, as always, this video is endlessly informative and inspiring!)
I appreciate beautiful packaging, but I don’t want to pay for it. I am fine with an extraordinarily effective product in a plain bottle and not adding 10+ dollars for packaging.
Thanks for recommendations, I was obsessed with Rosebrook Acid Toner for such a long time, did not realize they have a body line now too. Could you please give simple Hydrators and Moisturizers recommendations? Workhorses, not actives type of products?
Tysm for another great video with great recommendations! Curious to know if you have tried Naturium's Retinol body lotion and/or any their other body care formulas and what you think about them
I was wondering what other products from versed does anyone recommend? I use Glytone exfoliating body lotion. It’s pricey but works. I am curious about the cleansers and eye cream?
I am not a doctor but Ive never had vitamin A overdose just from using a body retinol. I have however experienced vitamin A overdose from eating too much liver (I was eating too much daily and had to stop)😅.
I miss the days when we had good ole regular moisturizer without ahas bhas and retinols… we’re getting to a point where we are putting acids in everything which is going to create a generation of people with very very sensitive skin
There are still a whole plethora of non-active body moisturizers out there. They aren’t difficult to find. If these products might make your skin sensitive, you (thankfully) have plenty of other options.

Amen 🙏🏼🤭 lol
thank you so much! 🥰

what do u use for chemical exfoliation on body? did you find affordable options? thank you
What are you using as a chemical peel? At home or salon? Thanks

Bepanthol derma nutritive 400 ml moisturiser also is amazing for 15 euros
I can vouch for the Versed body retinol. I have been enjoying them for the past 6 months and it's amazing.
Hi, I am just wondering if it is effective... Does it do anything better than a good body scrub+body moisturizer ? Thanks
@@HereDiianas I didn't see a dramatic change with it. But my skin does feel brighter and mildly firmer.
My eyes widened when you showed the Josh rosebook cleanser texture it’s so nice - I kind of want to use it on my face
He makes face products too. Not fond of smell of body cleanser but it is nice texture
You're ageless, with a wealth of information always. Thanks
Thank you so much 🥰
Versed also has a face and eye retinol, both of which are amazing.
Dropped everything I was doing and started watching the second that notification hit
appreciate you!!
Me, too! 😅😂
Me too! ❤❤
The korean spa scrub being described as exfoliated within an inch of your life is so accurate 😂😂😂
I was Googling this yesterday! Good timing and I'm glad I didn't buy anything. Thanks beautiful ❤️❤️

@Anthonyfedrick either dying of a rare cancer or perfectly fine.
Pick one.
Tfs Liz!
@Anthonyfedrick I'm right here, I'm an atheist, and my name is not Liza.
You're going to have to do a lot better than that.
@Anthonyfedrick I'm not about to share that with a RUclips stranger who behaves like a scam artist.

Body care ftw! Totally overlooked!
Could you make a video on budget well-aging body products? Thank you!
I unfortunately find the Versed retinol body lotion so difficult to rub in. Won’t but it again. Much prefer the retinol lotion from Gold bond!
Off to purchase that Versed retinol body lotion tomorrow... thanks so much for the head's up! Always click so fast on new Renee vids :)
Thank you!!

maybe taking into account that body is much bigger, the dosage of vit A would become toxic if to use in the same concentrations as on face (?)..
what solution did you find instead, maybe aha? what affordable options u use for body? (fragrance free)
I was literally searching for your favorite body care products last week - this video is perfect! Thank you!

Informative and useful as always. Thank you!!
I’m resisting the urge to buy literally everything mentioned in this video 😂

Can you please make a video about products for feet? Thanks!
They've discontinued the body cleanser 😒
I love your shirt. Where is it from?
Thank you so much! Do you happen to know if the Versed body lotion is good for KP too? 😊
Summer skincare routine please! ❤ u Renee!
🖤 thank you

Can you do a review on the meticube devices?

Wow I am never more influenced than watching Renee lol
Anyone have recommendations for really dry feet and shins even now in summer??
What are your thoughts on typology?
What about oneskin
Great Tfs
is there a risk of an Vit A Overdose when using a Retinol for the body? The quantities are much larger, right?
Theres evidence that Topical Vitamin A application doesnt go systemic nor get absorb by the skin as oppose to oral consumption/treatments
I am not a doctor but Ive never had vitamin A overdose just from using a body retinol. I have however experienced vitamin A overdose from eating too much liver (I was eating too much daily and had to stop)😅.
Is it 0.1 of a retinol complex, or there's a retinol complex, and there is 0.1% of retinol in the formula?
% of ENCAPSULATED so the amount of retinol actually in here is...negligible
@@cheesypuffkins 💀 damn...I bought it thinking it was Actually 0.1%. I've seen it recommended by derms too! 😑
💙💙💙

Goldbond retinol lotion is so much better and cheaper
