    Assuming that the relationship of the two sisters continues to parallel the relationship of the two cities, I think we'll see both pairs go to war with each other in act 1 and reach an unsatisfying resolution where one defeats the other but neither is happy, then they'll all struggle to recover from that in act 2 while a new outside threat slowly appears, and finally in act 3 the two pairs will have to work together to stand any chance of surviving and afterward come to an uneasy but more equal truce going into the future

    Before the explosion Jayce is positioned right next to Viktor meaning Viktor's hexcore limbs could instinctively protect both of them with some sort of shield. I don't think Mel needs to survive because her arc seemed complete with her choosing peace. In my opinion Mel dying would be both thematic and ironic because her death also signifies the death of peace in the region and because of her mother, her death is the cause of the war.

    My wild guess of what will happen, after some information from Annecy Festival, is that Vi lies to Cait when she says "my sister is gone". I see no conviction there, her facial expression is saying "oh please believe me, I'm a terrible liar". But also that might be just me and my trust issues :) However, the Jinx vs Vi fight will happen in act 1, perhaps last episode, and Vi will either let Jinx escape or perhaps shield her when Caitlyn tries to catch her somehow? Then the whole mission fails, Cait gets angry, maybe more because she was lied to, both her and Vi are then separated. The image of Cait with her already clean clothes but with the bruised lip and the look that could kill is probably the aftermath of this. Vi goes to Zaun to start her emo phase that is currently being discussed, etc. I agree that act 3 will be more focused the Noxus and their influence in Piltover.

      Oh god... You can already see how uncomfortable she is with joining the enforcers in the trailer alone, and considering that the writers mentioned that something in the story might piss off the CaitxVi shippers... some very painful choices ahead, I'm afraid.

      She said it and people from Annecy confirmed it. Can’t wait for Emo, brawler Vi.
      I wonder if they’ll kill Jinx off in episode 3 and that’s what sends her spiraling. Warwick coming back in act 3 is what brings Cait and Vi back together.

    So coming right after Necrit's analysis - nobody mentioned pretty much spoilery part that was revealed at Annecy meeting in France where Fortiche and Riot creators talked about animation and process of making season 2 - there are no photos or videos - but people on twitter summarized what will happen to Vi - a dark point of her life (alcohol, fighting in a pit to survive, thinking about Cait all the time, how she has nobody to protect anymore etc.) mirroring trauma that Jinx went through in season 1 - also suggesting that this will happen in act 2 - and more than likely suggesting that yes, everything in the trailer is pretty much happening in first 3 episodes.
    November cannot come soon enough!!!

    I think that Mel might be one of the council who dies. It would make sense for her to because that gives at least 3 people who are seriously affected by it. Ambessa, Jayce, and Caitlyn. Ambessa would use this in order to sway Jayce towards war and weaponizing hextech. And she would also use it to relate to Caitlyn and form a connection. Esp if Caits mom dies then Cait would be completely open to Ambessas want for war (probably). And then Cait (potentially) being sherif she would also have the resources to do that.

    One interesting thing that Cait says is that the city needs to heal more than she imagined, since the city is an analogy of Jinx I say that we can have a parallel between the two healing.

    Victor is hidden in the trailer. You can see him at 0:57 of the trailer. Its a quick flash hidden behind the attack sevika makes against the chem baron, but you can see him casting some kind of magic. You can tell its him by the transformed arm and his distinct cane. :D
    That little Headwiggle in the Warwick animation that lets him seem like a dog thats shaking off water or something is sooo wonderfully creepy

    jinxes revolution picture looks like someone else drew it, its definingly not her art style. Vi is a warden in the future not an enforcer its why her outfit does not look that great. it look like Wardens will have a dual mandate with headquarters in both zaun and piltover to look after both cities and not just Piltover like its currently is. Vi main motivation from recent material like LoR is she uses her position to keep jinx out of trouble as Jinx "legendary escapes from every time" which is more Vi and Caitlyn look the other way. It helps more in the future jinx settles on pranks.
    Vi knows what Jinx wants but Vi has literally has no idea on how to prove it.
    i am more afraid that we are going to learn through the flashback that Vander got the scar from silco before he meets the kids. As Silco conversation with him has silco says he does not hold a grudge for vander trying him but does hold a grudge for leaving the cause. which kinda does imply the attempted murder happened first and that vander grew a heart after getting alot of people pointlessly killed.
    sevika is constantly loyal to the cause, she clearly was orignally very loyal to Vander, but when it became clear he was only looking out for his kids, she quit. We even see Sevika faltering with Silco and told him to his face that if someone better then him for the cause came along she would join them. Like would you give your life for a leader that clearly no longer had the interest of the group at heart.

  • @katelyn1297
    @katelyn1297 2 месяца назад +2

    Remember when Amanda said that sevika would stop smoking too?? I think that will be bc she is following jinx now. In S1 she would NEVER think that she would “bow down” to jinx but now maybe she is. So she is giving up her smoking bc of that. Smoking is a general sign of power and status, esp in arcane.

    I think the fight between the sisters will happen at the end of ACT 1 episode 3, I now really believe JINX & VI won’t die, something else significant will happen. I hope Vi p doesn’t give up on her sister because that’s the only time it is too far gone, Vi will never get her 10 year old Powder back however she could get back a different more reasonable Jinx, if she keeps trying. If She gives up on Jinx after a few tries
    Then of course, her sister will be too far gone. Things are about to get really interesting. ❤❤❤ long live Jinx,Long live Vi.❤❤❤

    just came here from the tbskyen analysis and BOY do i have a textdump
    there's a theory that tbskyen posed that Vi will leave Caitlyn for Jinx in s2.
    since arcane is a show all about contradictions, the entire theory that Vi leaves Caitlyn for Jinx would not make sense with how S1 played out. in S1, Vi was constantly shaking Caitlyn off of her tail to go get leads on Jinx, trying to find Jinx, even in the act three finale she's seen promising Jinx to leave Caitlyn for a chance to have her back (though she draws the line at killing Caitlyn.)
    S2 will play out in a similar manner, but with different angles. it is Vi who chooses Caitlyn over Jinx, seeing that Jinx is far too gone as a result of her doing. obviously, the knowledge that she created such a traumatized, lethal force will break Vi (as proven by the annecy spoilers)... but who does she have other than Caitlyn to turn to? with Caitlyn in such a vulnerable state due to the passing of her mother, and with Vi in a vulnerable state due to Jinx cementing herself as Jinx, it can create a bond between the two women after the initial blame and harsh feelings have eroded down into nothingness. i dont exactly believe Vi will end up siding with Jinx, because she has seen how deep Silco's influence has sunk its claws into her. there will always be the lingering reminder that Powder, the helpless little girl that Vi practically raised, is gone, and Silco's teachings have shaped her into becoming Jinx.
    i think the contradictory posters also work with this theory. the first poster with Vi holding Powder is somewhat symbolic of the memory of Vi comforting Powder when everything was dark; Jinx herself states this in the act 3 finale with the "nothing ever stays dead" speech. the poster is a memory, with Vi being in the dark showing that she isnt there. but with this poster, it is Jinx who is in the dark, she is the memory that is -- not so much comforting -- instead smothering Vi. Vi seems scared, scared of the amalgamation that she herself caused to form in Powder's mind, and how Silco managed to amplify it. with Powder's face model being used combined with Jinx's shimmer eyes, its like the perfect representation of how Vi sees the forming memory of Jinx in her head.

    i think this trailer heavily misleads us when Vi sais my sister is gone.
    my take on it is, that Vi is splitting of from everyone confronting Jinx.
    giving jinx the call to leave Zhaun or hide somewhere so no one will catch her.
    then returns to Caitlyn and the rest of the Enforcers and shes saying my sister is gone.
    not like she is to far gone as a person, but as in she is nowhere to find, stop trying to locate her.
    you will never catch her, shes not youre problem anymore
    and thats what sparks a heavy conflict between Vi and Cait, and also makes Piltover lose all trust in Vi.
    But since Vi will still fight for her own believes and the Enforcers see the benefit in having Vi on their side.
    They will probally let Vi operate on her own, as something like an Independant Enforcer

    • @StopMeOh
      @StopMeOh  2 месяца назад

      I think by that she means that Powder is gona and Jinx is not her sister, she was not literal for sure

    • @McTerrox
      @McTerrox 2 месяца назад

      i also thought thats the meaning in the beginning, but what convinced me to my theory is that.
      -first: riot always tries to mislead us with their trailers.
      --second: Vi sais specificly my sister is gone, and not Powder is gone
      and the only person so far who knew that her sister is Jinx/powder is caitlyn.
      also if you look at the background of the scene when Vi sais it, its the same background of the place where Vi confronts jinx.
      but it wouldnt make sense, if Vi first tells caitlyn my sister is gone, and then somehow confronting her alone after like we see in the end scene.
      so it makes more sense, if Vi confronts Jiinx she somehow gets away.
      And after that happened Caitlyn arrives, asks Vi where is youre sister, since caitlyn always refered to jhinx as youre sister in front of Vi.
      And everybody else would just say where is this Jinx.
      i mean it could be eighter way.
      i just found all that to be to much of a coincidence

  • @7hkey
    @7hkey 2 месяца назад

    With Sevika I don't think it's much about being loyal to Silko: what I feel is that she's always been loyal to the independence of Zaun. That's why she left Vander who was making deals with the Sheriff and why she didn't side with the greedy Chembarons in season 1 and won't do the same in season 2.
    From the mural we see that Jinx will be somehow made into a symbol of revolution, it makes sense that that's what most alligns with Sevika's cause.

    I think people misunderstood the dev diary where they talk about arcane being canon a bit. League lore didn't stop being canon, imagine spending all those years building lore with short stories, cinematics, a book, bios, etc just to suddenly make it non canon.
    They just said from that moment moving forward, all media will be canon in order to have a single canon, and that they will work on the discrepancies that remain between different media to resolve conflicts.
    League lore didn't stop being canon, I believe the League version of the characters that we know is what arcane aims, and Arcane narrates the "how" those characters managed to arrive at that point.
    8:30 I mean we see in season 1 the moment she joined Silco and the why, if that leaked photo is a flashback, if anyone is in her flashback would be Vander.

    • @7hkey
      @7hkey 2 месяца назад

      Re: lore.
      Taking Vi for example it seems they will use Arcane as a way to steer the champion into a more fleshed out character. Probably still a hot headed enforcer but without the ill fitting "police brutality" jokes.

  • @Zut0502
    @Zut0502 2 месяца назад

    Spoilers about Annecy festival:
    It seems that someone before seen other extracts speaks of Vi as being lost, in decline, that she no longer finds her place anywhere and that physically (hair) has changed. That Vi only lives to eat, box, and dance and that she has hallucinations about Cait, who she imagines in the middle of the crowd.
    So two hypotheses come to mind:
    Either something happened between Vi and Cait that drove them apart (Jinx's death or imprisonment?)
    Either Cait is dead and Vi can't get over it.

  • @aranthur

    I think Vi probably only joins the Enforcers for the manhunt for Jinx, and then she quits immediately afterward. And it'll take until the finale or very close to it for her to rejoin more permanently
    Also, a really interesting and believable parallel could be Jinx going to jail at the end of episode 3, just like Vi in season 1, and then we have a short timeskip and catch up with all the characters again a few months or years later

      Okay, but how about this for a random prediction based only on parallels to season 1...
      Around episode 4 or 5 perhaps, Vi comes across a clue to something shady happening and a new mystery that needs solving is introduced... but this time it's in Piltover. Vi wants to follow the clues but does not have access to the places and people she needs to reach, so she goes to Caitlyn for help, and Cait needs to give Vi a tour of the fanciest parts of topside just like Vi gave her of the undercity in season 1. "Here's who to talk to, here's how to dress, here's how to act" and so on. Maybe they even attend some sort of fancy ballroom dance together and we get Cait in a dress and Vi in an expensive suit
