    I successfully completed a research project on Type II Diabetes in my first year of medical school/college. The research paper got published some time ago. I have shared my experience, how one can research during medical school, recommended high-yield courses & finally the importance of research itself.

      I did that research project through STS program by ICMR. You can find out more about it from their official website. Apart from it there are not any other research programs for MBBS students, as far as I'm aware. But you can always approach your teachers, i.e., APs and Professors to start a research project with them. That's what i have been doing.

    How did you get the idea of choosing this topic for your research?

    • @faiqmedic2283
      @faiqmedic2283  3 года назад +4

      I took weeks to find a topic and when i took it to my guide, it turned out that our Institute didn't have the required devices to perform that research. Then finally he suggested the topic.
      That's why i recommend that you let the teacher decide the topic but check it by applying the FINER principle, that I've talked about in this video. If the topic is too saturated, there is a high chance of your proposal getting rejected.

      By doing a thorough literature review on Google Scholar and Pubmed. Then you can state in your paper that, to the best of your knowledge there has been no work done on this topic before. Or cite the ones that have already been done with their findings, either in favour or against your topic.

      Hi The Bong Unique... I dont say that the NEETis tough. Though the NEET is a National exam.... Your allotment is according to your statewise ranklist.
      i.e I did my NEET in 2017. I am from kerala and I have a friend in Karnataka.
      In NEET my All india Rank was in between 12000-13000 and My friend's Rank was nearly 1.5 lakh range.
      But when state ranks were published...
      My state was was 1500
      And Hers was 833 🤐🤐 which was a pretty good rank to get into a govt medical college ‼️
      And I personally can't agree with this Injustice‼️ And I dont understand the reason behind conducting a "SINGLE" nation wide exam for medical admission ...🤐
