- I've drained forest and prepared to drain the rest of the channel which is upstream. The dam causes flood damage to the fields.

I'm in Seattle, WA USA I really enjoy watching your videos, your my favorite Dam re.over. You really take pride in your work and do a thorough job. You get right to it and only talk when it's about something actually interesting. I hope you and your family are doing well and get everything you want out of life!!!
Your hard work and the Sound of the water relax me!! 😁
Just keep doing what your doing, always impressed by your commitment to doing the best you can.great video,as always.great job 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Always enjoy watching your videos, seeing the variety of sticks on different dams is interesting. Some have whole trees. Take care! 😊
Hi my friend, I’m in Brasil, south Brasil, Santa Catarina state, Itajai city. Hug for you
Mantus, a very easy dam to take care of. Thanks for sharing & have a fun weekend with the family. David B.,Utah, USA.🦫🦫🦫♥♥♥.
The second view was a really good one. Can see how high the dam was, and see all the water being held. Also a good way to watch your hard work !
Good vid as always. Thanks for posting
Disappointed you didn't get a big collapse, but always great to see your informative videos. Keep up the good work. TC
Thanks!
Thank you for today’s video. A picturesque area to work from. Great water flow. Enjoy your weekend Mantas! 🇱🇹🙂👍🇺🇸
You are welcome:)
VERY BEAUTIFUL DAY AND COUNTRY GREAT VID
That huge tree that you pulled from the bottom of this dam is why it did not collapse. That was keeping the base of the dam strong, but as usual you killed the dam. 👍
You got some collapse . I think there was enough water pressure for full one. Great Job!
Cool video as always. Stay safe out there.
This was good to see the area you were in.
Hello from south Louisiana
Hey!
I imagine that the mud used to hold the sticks together is frozen in those temperatures. Maybe that is why it wouldn’t collapse. It sure looked like it was about to, but the foundation was frozen.
Thank you for the video! We live in the Southeastern United States. We also are plagued with beaver trouble. They kill beautiful trees that provide nuts or fruit to the deer population. They also kill pine trees that we periodically thin, cut, and replant. You are doing great work. For whatever reason, your videos relax me, I love watching the water go down. I’m looking forward to the next episode. ❤❤❤
Too bad you don't know jack about ecosystems
So it's okay for you to kill pine trees but not okay for beavers to kill them?
may i make a suggestion . place a stick with a marker in front of the dam, so you can better see how high the water was before and afther.
regards from the netherlands.
Was wondering if the beavers ever come back and rebuild the dam, using the material you pulled out? Keep up the good work! Viewing from USA.
Almost certainly beavers in the area will re-build. I think he said once they do not re-use he material.
The dam is how the beavers protect themselves from predators.
I actually had a little thought about this collapse that you working for. I wondered if you tried to begin on the upper side of the dam and scrape or dig so you get more depth on that side. I guess it’s creating more pressure to the dam that way.
It was just a thought and I have zero experience of dam removal, but it should work. 😊❤
This dam of sticks is no match for you ❤ 👏
Love your videos! greetings from germany. keep going ☺
Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you ❤
Beavers aren’t the issue, humans are
Small tributaries have also formed.👀
The straw-like grass around the river looks like a protective material.
From above, it looked like Protective film or fur.🛡
That was a LONG beaver channel!
That was a long channel into the woods. the beavers worked on that a long time
I think it did not collapse because of the large tree trunk laying across. It looks so very cold Mr Kenislovas - very good hard work.
Beaver dams are important for fish including juvenile salmon! Make sure you check that this is legal to do where you are.
It looks like you are having a dry spring.
@12:11 -- there's a short length of white wood near lower mid screen -- is that a piece of beaver meal?? Looks like the inner bark (cambium) was eaten and the wood was left.
Had to go back to the hospital. I have asthma bronchitis and copd.greetings from the USA. Hope everyone is having a good day.
I know how you feel. I have copd/ emphysema and with my meds and rescue inhaler. It helps. God be with you 🙏
Get back well soon!
Feel better soon
Medical grade cannabis and a digital vaporizer have been an amazing aid in reducing my dependency on inhalers. It might be worth looking into for you as well. Hope you feel better soon! ❤️
I'm so sorry to hear that speedy recovery, humidifier if you have abuterol and saline solution for therapy at night put at least 1 of both solutions in the humidifier also Vicks Vapor Rub I really good to add some of the machines come with the option to put them In I did this for my grandson who didn't want to take his therapy and pediatrician loved the idea also it doesn't increase your heart rate because is going slower but steady I each breath and last tip I do for myself my asthma and COPD I take ginger lemon 🍋 slices and some of the juice cinnamon and a tea bag of orange spices little sugar and honey it works really good hope yiu get better greetings from Oklahoma ❤
Very good job.
Great Job 👏
Great start to opening the dam, removing most of material from the front of the dam. If you want a good collapse keep making the cut wider. Spending more time removing the mud in the dam would really lower the water level in the stream.
I know you didn't get the sudden collapse like we all love, but it wasn't your technique. Digging out the base seems a pretty efficient way to go.
Maybe you should have put this vid in your membership
Thanks for the video
Greetings from Cayo Coco Cuba. 🇨🇦🇨🇺
Hi there not always is going to happen the collapse byt guess what i still love every minute of your videos the area is so beautiful and your videos are educational and very relaxing the sound of the water so dont worry you will get them again probably in spring
Draining the swamp one beaver dam after another. Could use your expertice all over the place, Vicked little animal, the beaver
Toujours intéressante vos vidéos
Thanks!
Good jm.
Long way down stream today ! 🇬🇧🇬🇧
That didn't take too long,..which was a good thing,..
Love your video but mixed feeling as Beaver damns are actually good for the environment they encourage biodiversity into the land, they create more insects which in turn pollinate the crops and the land and allow dragon flies frog newts and amphibians to breed to flourish and create more food for birds and predators, in areas prone to drought the hold moisture in the soil which prevent the ground from drying out reducing dust and airborne pollution.
I enjoy watching your work and the sound of moving water. On cold days how do you keep your feet and legs warm in such cold water?
Beaver dams have been shown to restore native habitat and species faster than human efforts. You should leave these dams and wetlands alone.
Hey Kenislovas, do you encounter any fish? Greetings from the home of the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco.
If you cut a channel on each end and then attack the middle, would it collapse faster?
Here don’t have beavers, only Capivaras.
Capybaras
They use the ditch to drag their food back to the pond
No matter the size, it's important work you do! Thanks for sharing another great video! 💕🇨🇦
Just wondering how you find so many beaver dams.. Beavers must be a huge problem in your area?
Did you get your drone repaired or are you still using your friend's drone? Interesting views of the Lithuanian Beaver Mafia's operations damaging the forest. Guess its time to call the trappers to cull the population some more. Good video taday. Hug Mažė
Are you below sea level? Lots of man made channels to drain off water. Like having a “slough” on the property. Lots of farms in Alberta have them. Like little square ponds.
All i can really say is , great job/well done , Beaver 🦫 Dam Master . Another A+ Video in the books ❤😊
I wonder if in the cold of winter the sticks in the dam are less flexible and thus less prone to bending and collapsing the dam?
Hallo Mantas! Whats your profession (Job)? Thank you vor intressting Video!
You would make it so much more interesting if you remove the whole damn versus only a small portion of it
do you carry any firearms on yourself when out in the forest?
Te get collapse you have to take the front of the dam out NOT the back. The back holds the wall height, not the structural support. Dig the front out to build the weight/mass in front of the wall which the wall can’t handle. Let the height build while digging out the front. This builds collapsing pressure but not structural strength. You want the mass of the water to bust the dam NOT flow rate.
Why even remove them??
KENISLOVAS - DESTROYER OF DAMS, BETRAYER OF BEAVERS, AYATOLLAH OF ROCK AND ROLLA
How do you find all the dams?
Smell of the beavers
❤😊❤😊❤😊
How can we have forest conservation with them pesky beavers?!
😅
👍👋🇵🇱
Mabe some one will come by your house and teardown.
The light touch you are applying is knocking on to the forest over time by changing beaver behaviour - looks like they've industrialized dam building material production. :/
Please do not remove beaver dams! You're singlehandedly undoing the work of mother nature's hydrologic engineers. There are many watershed restoration practitioners who are focusing on emulating Beaver dams in watersheds where beavers have been extirpated. They help keep water tables high, streamside vegetation and wetland plants healthy and contribute immensely to carbon capture! Many watersheds on earth are suffering immensely from actions such as the ones you are taking. If you want to talk about it more, feel free to reach out.
Beaver are an invasive species, their dams are on drainage ditches. Hydrologic Engineers have designed the ditches to drain farm land. The high water levels in the ditches block the field drains, saturating the ground reducing the amount of arable land.
Artificial dams have their place and a drainage ditches is not one of them. Please understand why things are being done before commenting.
It's forest - why to destroy beaver home when it's not hurting anyone? We've got problem to store water in our ecosystems and beavers doing it for us for free. It's not logical to destroy beaver dam in forest
As I mentioned, there are long channels which hurts lands 2 kilometres away because of its water level.
Self righteous idiot
The forest and animals don't need you to "save" them from the beavers.
No facts about your country lately ❤
OK, It's late winter / early spring. (lol) Beautiful countryside.
Yeah. I found it’s not interesting for audience🤷♂️
Why can't you leave it alone? Beavers have been building dams for thousands of years. Humans build dams and kill thousands of trees and plants and flood much much more land (man made lakes) and interfere with and stop fish migration. So what is your problem with beavers building dams and in fact creating habitat for fish, frogs and other aquatic life and water plants for moose to eat ?
Damm beavers kill beautiful trees and land 😢😢😢
why is it “not ok” to have slightly larger wetland environment? Do you mean it is inconvenient for humans? There can be many benefits of the dams too like increased biodiversity less likelihood of flooding and many more
