  • Beaver dam removal near the lands. Hunters hunted 2 beavers after I've drained the channel. Farmers asked for assistance because it was too much!

    It is impressive how well the dams are built. Even after removing the sides and having the weight of all that water pushing down on it, the middle refused to collapse.

    Holy Moley Papa. Frozen Beaver Dams look a lot more labor intensive than summer dams, yes? I was waiting to see how much effort it was going to take to drop that center section of the dam, but finally you got it down !! YAY. It looked A LOT more slippery than usual too.

    Interesting black and white video, that's what we Americans saw growing up in the 60-70s. Very pre wall removal.

      It is not Bblack and white, look at the tool, it is colored. It is winter, with snow and natural grey colors.😂

    You are doing important work. I noticed the escaping water looked so happy. It was absolutely joyful as it was running to freedom. That poor water was held stagnant for months in that remote cold prison. Keep spreading the joy.

    Greetings from the BIG SKY. I went to Colorado to look at colleges and ski, broke my right ancle at Alta in Utah. A ski trip in a Fastback Mustang. That was 1969, so it was a while back.

    I just added a video about some land I recently purchased. I think we might have the most water I have ever seen being held up by three dams! Would love to get your feedback on the video as well as any suggestions you have. We will be tearing out the beaver dams here soon!

    I liked the information on Lituania. You might also give a little more general information about, or things Lithuania has in common with, some of the other Baltic nations like Latvia and Estonia if you can't think of anything interesting about Lithuania in specific when you release your videos.

    Your pronounciation is good, so may I suggest you try using Google translate for the "Did You Know" section of your video? I'm pretty sure that some viewers would have had a bit of difficulty understanding all you explained at the beginning of this video about Lithuania back in the 14th/15th century. Just a suggestion to help your channel a tiny bit, perhaps.

      Water comes from the fields. Water going to the river and finally meets the Baltic Sea. :) Thank you! :)

    Glad to see you back in action! I was having withdrawals! Had to go back and watch some old dam removals. Question: Do you ever do any additional clean up after the water has all drained to make sure that the channel is clear?

    Love all yur vdeos. Realised that yur last few vdeos the technique u applied is more efficient in collapsing the dam. U concentrate more on the bottom removal..which eventually will lead to a successful n satisfying collapse of the dam. U cud use that method fm now as it will save u more time n energy..💪🏼

    ...wait...I thought King Mindaugas was in 1253 (or thereabouts), which is the 13th century? Of course, during the 14th and 15th centuries, Lithuana was a biggun, stretching from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea.

    I think you are on to a new way to create a collapse. Once you have cleared downstream side of the dam, create a small channels on each end of the main dam and then start pulling mud away from the front of the main dam. Keep up the good videos.

    Hey! That glowes are you using??
    I follow some magnet fishers from England and they have been calling out for warm gloves for winter, they get wet ofcourse…. So i was thinking you could be the right guy to ask😎 For recommending glowes for wet hands?
    They have tryed all they Can get in their marked💯

      @@Kenislovaswell 🧲Magnet fishers are throwing heavy magnets into the water, pulling a wet rope, catching bicycles shoppingcarts rebar scaffold pipes… And loads of metal things that people have Thrown in the water.. They Often do this from bridges. That is hard work ! They do that all year…
      And have nothing to do with fish-fishing😁 I have been fish-fishing all life… And never wear gloves for that🤷🏼‍♂️
      Magnet fishers are always catching😎
