One thing i find very intriguing is that no matter how much water is held behind the dam ,when you cut into the dam it doesnt just erode and fall apart with the rushing water unlike any dam built by humans that just collapse when the water gets through them.i think our engineers need to learn from beavers
That is a huge dam to take out by hand. Definitely could have used a small trackhoe to completely destroy it. Keep up the fund raising, and the dream will happen. Hug and snuggle Roberta. And Mom
Another one where you show the dam and I am thinking, Oh that's not so big. Then you go and stand in front of it and I just go "Damn that's big!". I would have liked to see you get this one to collapse but digging out the mud at the front of the dam would have been a huge amount of work. LOL at 8 minutes in I was thinking "time for the shovel" and you went and got it! Great job with this one. You definitely let the water do a lot of the work for you by digging out the backside of the dam like that! I could see the water eating away at it. Man there was a LOT of water behind that dam. Those beavers are going to be upset with you for this one!
Wow, that was a dam and a half there, Mantas. Looks like you're having some nice weather, it's been lovely here in the UK too. Great gardening weather. Have a lovely day.
Great job as always Mantas , Talk about going from a water fall to a stream, really impressed with it a lot, it will be interesting to see what the beaver's do in the next few day's. Thanks for sharing . David, Utah, USA.♥ ♥♥.
Great job 👏 in dismantling the beaver dam. Would you consider setting traps in permanently trapping the pesky beaver 🦫 They are so descriptive and damaging to the land
Love this one!!! Camera stayed in one place and I found myself mesmerized by the log on the far right fighting the current. Branch? Not really a log I guess. LoL Anyhoo, one of my faves now!!
Have you even thought of Head Camera to show viewers what you actually see in the waters where you did. It would be nice to see what you see. Great work! :)
Hi from Canada. I work a desk job and fully appreciate the work that you do. I can see the effort that you put in and know that it benefits the farmers that need that water flowing. Thank you for sharing what you do and I hope that our subscriber joins and likes benefits you and your family.
Hey Papa, when the dam is initially built, do the beavers return to add more mud and sediment behind the dam to strengthen the dam, because it looked liked there was a lot more mud and debris to move once you got rid of the sticks ??
The beavers continually add mud to shore up the sticks. The dam only holds back water if the mud and sticks are balanced, just like a human built hut to provide protection. The sticks hold the shape and the mud stops cold air from entering. In the arctic where there are no sticks the elephant tusks are used for structural support. The people had no canvas tarps to hold out the wind, but mud and sticks did just fine.
It's a testament to how well beavers built dams that even damaged as it is it still holds up. I just wish more land owners would see the benefits beaver dams can bring if the water levels are controlled with flow control devices though. As all the water they help store helps reduce the effects of droughts, slows down floods and helps keep carbon in the soils.
You moved a whole lotta dirt, debris, sticks, rocks, and whatever the beavers could shove int that dam.kudos to you sir.one of your largest dams to date.your work ethic is above anyone.great job, just continue doing what your doing and carry on.great video.😎😎😎👍👍👍🦫🦫🦫
Great content , we in England have just released beavers into the wild and I love that . Just wondering how quickly our farmers will be happy about it though! There could be a great demand for you here soon. I would like to request you film upstream / downstream more often and maybe put a painted post upstream, so we can judge the water level drop Great work Jon
It looks like attacking from the top saves a lot of work at the bottom. Can't wait till you come back later to see what it looks like. There must be a lot of water being held back by that dam.
Be part of my future project or support. Thank You very much!

That dam is made of some nice topsoil.❤️
The beavers put in a lot on work on that DAM got to give them credit. A lot of work.
The beavers are coming for you Keni !!!!!!! LOL that was swift water!
That was a big one👍
like that you put the date and your country at begining of video!

The currant was so strong, I thought it would knock you off your feet. Great work .
Good to see you have the spade out, it helps to form a channel and the water does the work.
Great job 👏 in dismantling the beaver dam.
Would you consider setting traps in permanently trapping the pesky beaver 🦫
They are so descriptive and damaging to the land
Wow! Not only tall but wide as well! Good luck with this one! If only you had your excavator.

Mosquito proof clothes work on bugs, but you'll get hot a lot quicker takin down a beaver dam even if the water is cold.
Incredible amount of water! Nice job, Mantas!
Looks like quite a big pond/a lot of water backed up.
Wow that was a beast, well done.
That was quite different. I realize you have to tackle large dams in a different manner. But what a huge amount of water. Another successful removal.
You got it done …great work‼️Hope everything going well with you and family and car situation 🌺🍍🌴🇺🇸✝️🤙🏽❤️
Wow that's a lot of water pusher behind that dam just be careful
Loved the video, Would like to see when it's drained a bit. Keep up the good work.

WOW! Another great job! That current looked really strong, especially when the algae went past.
That was one of the bigger dams you have torn out. A lot of water sent down stream, happy farmers, drier fields. Well done.
If you would do what you showed at this video in Germany you would be fined up to 50.000€, as beavers over here enjoying a high level of protection
Well fortunately I am not there :)
That is a lot of water my friend.
Man that was a big wall of mud. Good to see your going at it strong brother. Keep the videos coming. We appreciate all the hard work you do
Hey Papa, when the dam is initially built, do the beavers return to add more mud and sediment behind the dam to strengthen the dam, because it looked liked there was a lot more mud and debris to move once you got rid of the sticks ??
Hi, I think mostly they are building the same size (If they are building) dam.
Wow what a job, well done!
Wow, been some very busy beavers. Relaxing as ever for those of us watching, thanks for all your hard work.
Built in a month? We need to get them certified and licensed to build dams for humans!

GOOD JOB, KEEP SAFE..
It would be interesting to see how much water is left the day after your destruction of the dam.
Nice job !
That's not a dam. That's a mountain
Vc poderia mostrar os castores construindo uma barragem, seria bem interessante.
There are link to the video in description✌️
Have you ever slipped and got washed away in the current?
Nope :)
This dam would have made a great rollover if you undercut it, but that would have been a lot of work for you.
You’re not a beaver dam remover, you’re a waterfall creature.❤

Why does this not seem like what beavers do no stick's at the middle and the bottom hum? and even on the sides only mud
Perhaps you should try to get a long handled spade and fork?
It's ok with this one. ;)
All the material you freed gathered one metre away , surely if you cleared that the whole thing would have flowed much better !
SURE WISH YOU HAD CLOSED CAPTIONING…
