@@south_coast_freight_ no worry thank you for your information I had see a steel train down south at Cootamundra a few year ago by the Pacific National steel service but now taken over by Qube steel service hopefully one day I will see a new steel train with a new QL class went I go down to Cootamundra again in the near future keep up the good work 😀👍🚂
Not sure what you are getting at, PN own the locos there are 6 of them and the train arrives and departs Sydney every Wednesday. With the train only requiring no more than two locos and 1 ex Adelaide I’m not sure what you suggest the others do since they are the exact same as the rest of their class bar the paint job..
A great little video thanks for the memories i was at bowenfells for the station centenary 6029 hauled the special train.
THANK YOU 🙂🌏 SPECTACULAR VIDEO 👌REALLY ENJOYED IT ☕️🍩

Have all the engines been hauling the train from Whyalla or have some been added for the mountain section?
Usually two NR’s from Whyalla to Parkes then other locos added for the rest of the trip to Newcastle
Bowenfels v.chill location. At night Edison lamps means vintage glow.

Only in this country would they run a locomotive that pulls a world famous train set “The Indian Pacific” on a goods service, bloody disgraceful.
