I spend 5 hours today to learn the first 23 seconds my fingers are on fire, I'll continue tomorow thanks for the tabs!
Good progress!
I see why you left on the 24th 😂
You're about a fourth of the way there. Congrats! That's actually huge
Me two hours and gave up 😂
Imagine being able to improvise flawlessly with this level of technique and musicality, unreal.
His phrasing is the best I’ve heard in a sit down improv. I mean gawd dayum.
This one is absolutely amazing, Guthrie is nuts!
For me the notation are perfect, include music dynamics too, you are an amazing dude!!! cheers
some of it is off but very close for example if you watch close after the first 16 fret bend the fist slide on be string is actually on next fret lower
Great phrasing.
I’ve been looking for this for so long
Great! I love Guthrie!
Thanks for TAB
Thanks! I learned this one from another tab video a couple years ago, and then I totally forgot about it. I had it down pretty good too. It's gonna be a lot easier to memorize it this time, since I already did once before. This tab looks a bit better than the other one I used before.
Jeeeeeezuz. fluid and razor-accurate
Amazing work Evan, the usual
Wow ..now by Govan...
Awesome thank you!
Thanks for another amazing tab! Guthrie Govan is incredible and jaw-droppingly good live! Any plans to tab more of his solo stuff or Aristocrats work in the future? :)
There are official tabs for The Aristocrats albums available at JamTrackCentral. Might do more Guthrie stuff in the future, but no plans at the moment.
So good job done 🤘👍

Is his guitar doubled with some kind of synth pedal?
Should play on a Jackson 😮
Have yo done the albert king style one yet? Been trying by ear but....
I have not.
I need to learn how to get that tone, damn
Dude I hate to break it to you but it’s not the tone.
@@ufukaka7570 😂😂
and later like benson , ford , malmsteen , vai , martino , mancuso etc etc etc ! and very later he played his own stuff lol !
0.19 someone more expert than me could tell me which arpeggios are mixing in this incredible phrase

That lick is c minor with some flat 9s, flat 5s and major7s thrown in.
@@mikemoran7036 why do those extra notes work when they have no business being in key here? I dont get it.
@@WelshGuitarDudeI think it's the idea of chromatic leading notes to reach the target note. There's a video tutorial with guthrie explaining the concept. Try it though play flat 5 to 5, flat 9 to 9 over a minor chord, it's a really cool lick.

What skills do I need to work on to be able to play this?
Legato
Alternate picking

Why is Guthrie so anti-tablature, dammit? He got his start TRANSCRIBING TAB.
I think Guthrie’s train of thought is that you would never likely be able to improvise stuff like this if you only looked at tablature to learn. I think most people would achieve freedom on the fretboard quicker by experimentation and playing the “wrong notes” than by just studying tablature. Because even players that have the technical ability to play this likely wouldn’t have the correct phrasing or feel, just check out the people covering this here on RUclips. Lotta people play it but none of them sound like Guthrie.
Does someone know what is the original song?
It's the "Larry Carlton style" backing track from Jam Track Central.
@@EvanBradleyTranscriptions I mean its that a song from larry carlton or just improvise?
@@joelsaravia9612 It's not a Larry Carlton song, just a backing track to play over.
even thers tabs and all, its still hard to execute cleanly. damn this sucks haha but I love it.
What key he's playing ? 😮
C minor
