I built a live-fire Blade Runner Blaster using a Tomenosuke Blaster Pro Assembly Kit mated to a genuine Charter Arms Bulldog 44 SPL with a custom 4” barrel. I’m working on building a Hero using all genuine parts that I’ve already acquired for the build. Great collection! imgur.com/gallery/ciPZbql
Mine's a Doppleganger " Rick Ross " resin kit I got years ago on Ebay. Lucky me, I got it for $125.00 USD. I'm thinking of redoing the finish to make it more accurate. Anywho, I looove it. 🤣👍👍
Nice colletion, nice comment. I am an illustrator, but I am from the generation that saw BR in its original release. I am doing one by hand(don't have much tools) over a chinese toy "slightly" similar. I am having a lot of fun. If I ever finish it, and you want to see, I send you some pics. But what is good in this process is starting to have ideas for handguns , say, in this "style". (It is one of the reasons I liked your comments). Well done.
I have Blade Runner the final cut on my top 5 favorite movies of all time. But 2049 to me is a masterpiece as well, that completely flew under the radar of the general public outside of the fandom for the original. I like how classy your collection is , and that Rick Ross enforcer is a thing of beauty I had no idea existed! I plan on starting my own collection soon with a Tomenosuke 2049 blaster. So I wanted to ask you a question , if you don't mind answering where did you get the custom stands made for blasters 2 and 3? thanks,
Almost finished acquiring my very first Tomenosuke PKD. It's called the OG version which is a recent release that was made to follow the original blueprints made by Toku Nobutaka. Watch out on my channel for a review in the next few months! Love the tour!
Karl Tate actually took all the photos of the Hero Blaster at WorldCon. Richard Coyle was with Karl that day, but was having problems getting his camera to function properly. Karl is the man!
@@damionchrist, true, since Richard didn't have 3 arms at the time (not sure about now...). I would have been more accurate to say, "the photos were taken with Richard Coyle holding the original."
Hey man great video!! I'm new to all this and I was wondering if you could tell me where I could buy complete versions of the original blaster and the Officer K blaster. Unfortunately I don't have the facilities to build one from a kit or from scratch. So yh just wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Keep up the good work!!
If you want a an airsoft replica that can converted into check the elite force h8r i plan make my on twist on it to fit my mlp oc not in a girly way i promise ^^
I'm leaning towards the og but I feel like the white on the grips are too much. I don't know hoe accurate it is although I suppose it could of faded with time.
Lovely collection, but don't get why you'd want them to stop flooding the market? ( 3:20 ) the more they flood the market, the lower the price will come.. then people who can't afford to splash 1000+ on a blaster might actually be able to afford one! How is that a bag thing?
My dad, Robbie Knott made the original gun. He did the initial special effects on the original film, but was later fired by Ridley scott and never credited. Dan Lanigan now owns the original gun. I am selling my dads rubber stunt version, if anyone is interested.
I’ve only just found this comment so maybe a little late but if your dad made the original you might be able to answer a major question. In the film does it have a flat head screw or the current projecting Weaver screw just in front of the slide lever? This is causing some arguments in the Blade Runner fan fraternity and really could do with answering. I absolutely believe it is a flat head (after pausing and going frame by frame where that side of the blaster is clearly shown) and the Weaver screw was added post production for some reason. Perhaps damage? If you can shed any light on this I would be incredibly grateful.
Classic science fiction caviar indeed,I couldn't say better, non of my friends understand the love and appreciation I have for this movie,It's a movie that aged like a fancy wine. There's a guy that made a functional blaster ,not as fancy as your collection and the gun looks like it was chewed by a cow but cool to watch, here the link ruclips.net/video/4cOeqD80gzY/видео.html Thanks for sharing your collection with us Blade Runner freaks
Dear sir, I couldn't help but notice that the greatest blaster replica yet made is missing from your collection. Are you aware that Elfin Knights, before making the water pistol made a blank firing replica? I owned a Coyle, Tome, and the Takagi ignition type. After a major thinning of my whole collection, I kept only the ignition type. The reason I kept that one is because of its astonishing quality and finish. Truly the Faberge of blasters. I agree about Tome, their greed is causing market saturation. I remember how exotic the original Pro seemed. That feeling is gone. Still a lovely blaster, but no longer that exclusive feeling. Enjoyed your video, many thanks.
I watch this video every now and then and just marvel at all those amazing blasters - love it dude
Its a neverending hobby. I love my 2049 Tomenosuke. I need the cypress wooden case that tomenosuke made to complete my obsession.
yes, that case is sweet!
Sick blade runner blasters dude
Very nice collection!
Thank man. A couple of your pieces are in it!
Fantastic collection and beautifully displayed. Well done !!

My father has an unbuilt Rick Ross PKD-II kit from 2001. Might have to convince him to put it together.
Excellent kit. Worth building! Do it.

I believe the stands you’re asking about are the Coyle acrylic ones. RAC props.

Thank u for sharing. Great collection !
Great Blade Runner weapon collection man! Love it!!
Thanks for sharing! Just got my Tomenosuke 2049 blaster yesterday. Looking to get an appropriate stand or display for it.
Amazing video , as a blaster collector beginner. Lot of great info. Keep up the great content.
Will do man!
You have a nice collection of all things sci-fi. I have the paragon Blade Runner PK blaster and need a display stand. Where did you find your stands?
Richard Coyle took the photos of the WorldCon blaster. That's why his is so accurate...he was there and handled the original.
Oh cool, I hadn't heard that. It makes sense!

Great video review! Not to steal the spotlight from Blade Runner but is that a remnant trooper helmet in the background? Love to see it!
Where did ,you get the display thing holding the guns? Not the big case but the individual things holding each gun?
I gotta ask! Where did you get the display case from? It looks really neat! Makes the collection look clean!!
Those are actually just ikea Billy cases, but with upgraded doors/shelves/lighting. They're perfect for smaller props!
kevdeo thank you sir! Well done on your collection!!!

are there any blade runner guns that can fire?
This is now my favorite video on the internet.
Haaaa, thanks!
You'd probably like the Zeiram weapons.
Thanks for sharing! No Sidkit Blasters? 🤔
Still missing one of those, for now... haha
PLEASE tell me how to remove my Bluray blaster from its stand

WOW
No C.O.P. derringer?
No, not yet! Need to score one of the metal airsoft ones.
So whats the best cheaper blaster? I can't pay 2k for one that's too much
If you want a good budget pkd, look for a stunt resin tomenosuke or a pre-assembled Tomen pro retailer. Both should be under $1k.
@@kevdeovideo and whats the best? Og tomenosuke 2019?
@@HeNnEsSy_HiCcUpS Super complicated question. The best are usually the custom modified ones.
@@kevdeovideo let me be more specific, I want the most accurate replica and best quality. Money is not an issue.

Surprised you don't have a Hartford PFC in your collection. ( www.hartford.co.jp/m2019/index.htm )
Are these metal or resin

Agreed! I've never had the pleasure of holding a Takagi Ignition. They seem very interesting, and I'm sure they would take weathering really well.
