I feel so bad for Steven he's in so much pain but most of that pain is in his heart because his family worked so hard to get him out there and he breaks his arm. He acts as if it's his fault he broke his arm, I feel him as me and my best friend were going to have a sleepover one day and we were talking about it all day when in the middle of class I had an allergic reaction my school nurse had to call my parents luckily my parents convinced them to let me stay but I didn't know that I was crying for about 2 hours.🎉

Supporting the Black Cloud issue is actually a form of bullying. I love thes lifeguards, but I am disappointed to see this behavior. This would not be tolerated at the school where I teach.

I'm glad he is okay, but the pressure to the best you can do so your family doesn't let their efforts and struggles go to waste because they spent so much to get you there, whether they would supported you all the way or not, feels like the weight of the world is on you. To pay them back for all they did for you and it all just falls apart with one mistake.
It all comes down to parents if they truly support him. its amazing how it can all come down so fast when your stoke and push the limit, sometimes that limit can break you, happened to me, dislocated my left shoulder during event trying to pull out a yolo move for the win and I paid the price ( litrely) that accident cost me 4k. a lesson learn in humility.

I think the trick he did, which is one of the hardest, was AMAZING & perfect until the landing. Poor lil dude. He should still be proud. Some of the best athletes in any sport get to be the best by taking their licks & broken bones.
As a paramedic I use to think I had one of the hardest jobs in the world. But these guys have to fight the OCEAN to reach the patient, I think this job would be one of the hardest.

I get anxiety every time I see one of those skaters without a helmet or the elbow and knee pads. Like, you're riding and spinning in the air on a piece of plastic/wood with wheels...it's dangerous as it is. It's better not to tempt fate and get worse injuries or die.
It doesn't surprise me that a blue bottle to the throat could cause anaphylaxis. I know people take them to the face and all that, but some people can have an allergic reaction. Especially when the throat/neck/face are involved.
In a profession I worked in we called them Sh*i magnets but ultimately although stuffed happened on their shift no other person you'd rather be with because they have varied experience

You don't move your head at all and brace your neck with your hands and arms until a neck brace and backboard are in place. You can do this if you're in the water by floating and not kicking your feet and wait for rescue.
Steven seems like a great kid. Very conscious of his family and what they do for him.
