You forgot to mention! Scyther is (I believe) the only pre-evolution with the same BST as it's evolved form. Scyther in little cup is basically inviting a fast bug/flying Scizor to the tier. Bonkers pokemon.
This is true, and it also applies to kleavor. While it doesn't change, I felt the more pressing point was that it greatly eclipses everything else in terms of raw stats.
Shout-out to Porygon2 though - higher BST than Scyther and Porygon-Z only gains 20 BST extra. Too bad Porygon2 is not allowed in LC as a middle evolution
i like how this implies that scyther isn't really less evolved than scizor in the first place as they're around the same strength, they're just different just different. or at least thats how i see it. theres no way scyther is in the same situation to scizor as a bulbasaur is to a venosaur
As an NFE player, you don't wanna know how fast Primape, Bisharp and Duraludon were banned... and then there was Golbat in Gen 8 and the two ogres (aka Magmar and Electabuzz)...
i like how all of these are pokemon that were originally released as single stage mons, intended to be balanced against fully evolved pokemon, and then got evolutions later
Funny how Onix falls into that camp, but remains legal because it’s just that underwhelming stat wise compared to other single stage mons even in gen 1.
I was hard getting into Pokemon, and I had just discovered Gameshark and Pokemon Stadium 2. I didn't PVP, barely at all, and Majora's Mask had taught me cheating felt very good. I did _NOT_ take Stadium 2's Little Cup seriously. Scyther with Aeroblast and a bunch other stuff it had no business learning. I should be ashamed of myself as a gamer but then I remember just how utterly ruthless the Stadium series was against rentals and the efforts of the Trainer's there. AND I remembered when it legit cheated to win. Yeah, Dragon Rage in Little Cup, real smooth. And then I felt much better!
Honestly, there’s only a few Pokémon who can get an evolution in a later game and not be op in little cup. The few I can think of are Delibird, Luvdisc, Unown, Spinda, and Farfetch’d. Maybe castform.
i love how paid dlc legendaries with moves that always crit through protect is perfectly legal in competitive but i can't use my favorite purple monkey in little cup just because it can pass a baton
I love how the thumbnail looks like a powerscaling videos. Does a man with a hammer win a fight against a Scyther? How strong is he? Do pokemon go to hell?
This Pokemon were all unevolved forms before that GF decided to make relevant by giving them an evolution in a later game, thus it means that their stats were first assigned on the basis of "this Pokemon is fully evolved", putting them to fight baby Pokemon should not even be considered.
Thank you for the support! Frankly, I was overwhelmed by how well it was doing at first. Took me about a month (i wasn't keep exact dates) to make this video, and I'm glad the effort paid off.
Phione’s technically a fully evolved Pokémon, and kubfu isn’t legal because there isn’t (yet) a way to obtain one at level five. Meltan and Cosmog are legal though, but they’re both pretty bad
@@RyanCadieux I think Type:Null would also count as a legendary if memory serves, though it has the same problem as Kubfu. If it ever was somehow obtainable below level 5 though (through Pokemon GO realistically), it would probably be banned as fast as Duraludon was.

Everything else is the soundtrack to Grand Poo World 3 ruclips.net/video/YARtfR7nOuc/видео.html First one I used is 1:40:22 Steppe Sprint (Shinobi III - Idaten) for Scyther Second is 1:12:29 Coastal Elite Zone (Cybernator - We've Gotta Do It) which is for the Duraludon section Third is 1:26:50 ??? (The Ninja Warriors - Final Stage) for first Sneasel Fourth and Final is 1:30:33 ???: Boss (The Ninja Warriors - Boss 6)
I presume it’s because it’s running around with a 460 BST and the bonkers Last Respects. Mostly the latter, since that move is ridiculously busted in any 6v6 format.
I just spent a week learning and getting top 500 in little cup a few weeks ago and 0:39 teams make me grimace so hard. Most uninnovative bog standard annoying to deal with shit. Mienfoo especially. Fuckin hate that thing it's not even "good" it's just hella annoying to deal with
Scyther and Duraludon be like: Hello fellow kids.
Type Null 💀
sneasel walks in and bullies kids
Girafarig now too
Stantler

Honorable mention to Nincada though, who is the only Pokémon to have a HIGHER BST than their evolved form (well just Shedinja but still).
Shout-out to Porygon2 though - higher BST than Scyther and Porygon-Z only gains 20 BST extra.

Basculin was casually terrorizing everyone in the background
Last respects is one hell of a drug
"yo did somebody say Gen 7 LC Ubers metagame analysis?"

Reminds me a bit of UUbers.
At some point banlists become so expansive that resetting in some way and creating an entire additional tier becomes valid

You forgot a certain monkey with a hand for a tail that's practically a god among children.
Let's go! I learned so much about the little cup Pokemon stuff here. Also glad to voice for you buddy.
Thanks again! It was a pleasure.

Judging from the match footage, does LC has some sort unofficial "Ubers" tier I'm not aware of? Also it's great to see you back again.
Yes, i got the games from the Levi's Premier League Server, which features LC Ubers.

From what I see all the pokemon in this video are mons that where originally suppose to be pokemon with no Evo's then got one later on.

You can still use them without Baton Pass though
We'll get to that monkey when we get there. Baton Pass isn't the main reason, but the monkey is banned for a just cause.
