    I was interested in purchasing for the translation features. Well that's a disappointment, from seeing real world tests, the basic translation is a big let down and seems purposely delayed and very basic. That's just a bad starting point for a new company, monetizing features that should be included, is just being greedy and especially with AI translation that's near instant and free on most phones already. Advertising subscription free, but in reality putting features behind an expensive subscription just sets this product to fail.

    This looks like a great feature. Is there a time limit on how long it can translate? For example, if I'm out to dinner with Japanese speakers and I only understand English, will I be able to understand them throughout the dinner?

    Hi! When it is about Japanese lenguaje, the original text is shown in Romaji or in Kana?

    • @EvenRealities
      @EvenRealities  2 месяца назад

      Great question. When it comes to Japanese language translation, the original Japanese text is usually displayed using Kana (which includes both Hiragana and Katakana) and Kanji characters. Romaji, which uses the Latin alphabet to represent Japanese sounds, is not typically used in standard Japanese text. However, Romaji might be shown in some cases to help non-Japanese speakers with pronunciation, but it's not the default display for Japanese text.

    Does it support 2 way translation? For example, if I was talking to someone who spoke Spanish, would I be able to reply in English, and have it automatically detect what I’m saying and translate it to Spanish, so I can read the translation to the Spanish person?

    • @EvenRealities
      @EvenRealities  2 месяца назад +2

      Hi there. G1 does not support two-way translation at the moment. We're actively working to expand its capabilities and appreciate your suggestion for two-way translation. We'll share your feedback with our development team for consideration.

    How does it work? Can translate work without dependency of phone? Once we set the settings, will it work offline? Also, if we speak, how will other person know in their native language?

    • @EvenRealities
      @EvenRealities  2 месяца назад

      Hi there. G1 can operate independently once activated. While some features may require the Even Realities App for initial setup or data transfer, many functions, including the Translate, can run in the background. When you turn on the Translate feature using the app, it starts recording. The voice travels via Bluetooth to the Even Realities App. Our app uses the cloud to translate your conversation in real-time, and the translated text is displayed directly on your G1 lenses.

    • @EvenRealities

      Yes, once the Teleprompt feature is turned on, it can run in the background. This allows you to use other apps, like your camera, simultaneously.

      @damiandaily12123 it's actually not bad. I confirmed with the ER team that if you purchase 10 hours, you can use it in increments. For example, use it today for 30mins you still have 9.5 hours left to use 2 weeks from now.
