Hi there, thanks for letting me know. Please see the tutorial breakdown below. Be sure to warm up beforehand. Semi bent leg position, hip flexor raises x10 each side Pike position, hip flexor raises x10 each side Foot in hand, back stretch hold for 20 seconds each side. "Dying seal" back and leg lift x20 Child pose to reset. Ankle weights (Mine are ~2kg each) Seated, straight back, turned out leg lift x10 each side Lay on back, controlled kicks x10 each side Lay on back, leg hold for 30 seconds each side. Standing, legs stay parallel, side kick to 90 degrees x10 each side Standing with a chair or something to lean on, back kick followed by knee drive x10 each side Remove weights, lay on back, hold legs open in second position for 20-30 seconds then open and close x10 Repeat the whole workout two to three times. 😊
Loving the back to dance videos!! I did dance for about 10 years but I'm doing figure skating now and these stretches and exercises really help! And they're really fun to watch as well :)
I was the same! I always found my left leg more flexible. At my studio there was a preference for right kicks and jumps so I eventually had to work harder on my right leg.

Nevertheless, I like your stretching methods using ankle weights ; these would certainly be helpful & effective for other fields (domain) of physical activities including sports. Please keep it Up. So I really want to be a self taught gymnast and a dancer. I came across this one girls RUclips channel who told about her self taught journey and that really motivated me. So I wanted to practice a dance called "Yum Yum " from dance moms. It's my favorite dance and it's really easy. I really need this so I will update and stretch almost everyday. I need a high leg kick. I will stretch today and update tomorrow and it goes on. Sorry for this long paragraph lol. quiana bell while you want to be flexible, it’s also about leg strength and abs. I have my splits and my kicks still aren’t where I want them yet. Just keep stretching and working those legs! :))

I dont dance but find this more useful than TKD videos. Leg raises with the hip flexer are difficult for me, and the side 90 degree leg raises you did. Why is this?

You should usually hold a stretch for at least 30 seconds to make progress
Never seen that first exersice before, hopefully that'll get me using the right muscles when doing extensions!

you feel it more in your hip flexor not your quad but you should feel a little pain in the quad
How do I relax my quad? Finding this extremely difficult to do, they wanna do all the work 😂
