I'm an avid Sleeperdude fan and that's what brought me here. I'll stick around and see what you are up too. If your family is anything like his I'll stay and watch. I"m 76 and single and you tube's shows are now my retirement entertainment. Good luck with your channel and God Bless. Dan.
From Randy in Chattanooga: Hello Hillbilly Fab Shop. This is my first time on your channel, and I love it. I’ll definitely be a subscriber. Good luck with your channel, and God bless.
First time here pigeon forge guy. Did ya pull pin and push ramps in ?
Sleeperdude and his family are the best!
You pull the pin and slide the ramps in. but good going, you got there !!
Thanks for respecting sleepdudes privacy.
People can be so disrespectful.
Kudos to you and your wife.
I'll keep a eye on you.
I have all the Respect for you on your comments about people just showing up at others people houses without an invitation and trying to get on their podcast. You may call yourself a Hillbilly but sir you are a gentleman!!! Keep up your good work!!!
Can't wait to see the van delivered on Sleeperdude never miss it , So far its best thing on , Better then anything on TV that's for sure .
This was a really nice thing you did.
And what you said about Sleeperdude/Family, Privacy, meet and greet..... from you lips to God ears.
Nice of you to say this.
I hope you do Good on your Channel.
Thank You and God Bless'
Them ramps slide in . Love Sleeperdude and his family.
That’s as far as those would slide in. Wouldn’t go any further and we couldn’t take them all the way out due to being bolted on.
Sleeperdude's channel is the best. Great content and family oriented. And now I'll be subscribing to yours.
I'm glad to see this one going their way. I had a 1967 GMC Handi-van 50 years ago. There's something special about driving with your butt over the front axle and nothing in front but a windshield and a thin piece of sheet metal. I've been watching their Econoline truck and worrying they're going to put a hogleg engine in it. I don't take much power when you get very little traction on the drive wheels. See a few of them that have been wrecked in the front end and you won't want to go fast or squirrely anyway. Thanks for helping.
Can't wait to see this this on sleeperdude!!
Way cool thanks watch sleeper dude all the time very nice family and animals 👍👍👍😁👍😏
Sleeperdude fan. Came over to see your courageous adventure your crew underwent to deliver the van. Great job!
Thanks for watching it was definitely an Adventure.
I love the Sleeper Dude family, cool that you took it down there. If you ever haul on a tow dolly again one thing you can do to keep the steer tires from turning, is wrap the seatbelt around the steering wheel, and preferably the door armrest if so equipped. If not you can always strap it to the drivers seat. Or use a rachet strap around the steering wheel and tie it to the drivers seat. you can even haul from the back wheels as long as you have the steering wheel locked down tight.
Thank you for the advice. It was my first time with a dolly I usually use a trailer. I definitely learned a lot lol I’m just glad it didn’t fall off or apart and it got to him.
Thank you for watching the video I’ll have some new ones out soon. He also sent me an update on that van but I’m waiting to share not going to show it before he shows the van.
Craig****I love SleeperDude and I'll watch this till you deliver this Van!! This was a great video and glad you met them and got there and back safely!
I've been following Sleeperdude for awhile now. I was scrolling through here and found your channel and this episode. You just gained another follower. Looking forward to more episodes!
Thank you 🙏
12:18 Well said 👍Thank you for saying that.
Hope to see you soon in that Sleeperdude video
Thank you for watching. It probably will just be a small clip of us but I’m thankful regardless.
When I was 17 my whole family lived in two of these vans parked back to back down by the Allegheny river. There were only about 15 of us so we had plenty of room.lol. good times! This was in 1969.
Sleeper dude and his family is awesome I cannot stop watching sleeper dude and his family I can't wait for them to get the van running
Really cool van. This is the first time I've seen one. Looking forward to seein what they do with it.
I have an old tow dolly I've used for 30 years. I used a come-along to pull them up. Now I make my son do it. 😎
Old ways are best to learn before newer lazy ways!
The U-Haul video shows much shorter ramps that go in more. Great job being ingenious.
I'm glad I got to see you, I'm a long time sleeper dude fan, and now I am a subscriber to your site. Looking forward to seeing you guys.
Awesome man thank you for this video and you are right people need to respect other and be nicer to others you will be great man just keep it up GOD bless you and your family
Dude I was just thinking about this, bringing a car to sleeperdude88 and I just stumble with your video. Holy shit. I’m mind blown right now. Cool van man, I can’t wait to see that thing running

Sleeperdude is my favorite channel. I truly appreciate the way you were respectful to their privacy. I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I'll watching to see how you do with your channel. Nice work!!
SleeperDude are very good people! If you run your channel anything like them. then you and your channel will go far. You could learn a lot from SleeperDude. Great Vid.
I really like what you and your wife did. I am looking forward to seeing more of what you do and will do. I got family in Galliopolis Ohio and my Grandma Verdie was from West Virginia. I am crazy about cars and love country living. I like too you asking the stalkers to leave the Sleeperdude family alone. God Bless You and your family and friends. I hope to meet you someday in person somewhere. Looking forward to Easter Sunday. Spring. Family reunions. Road trips and life. God Bless! Sincerely yours, Blaine Halley, Santa Cruz, CA.😎

They are an awesome, family and people I love there videos …..
Awesome video brother, much Respect for Respecting other people that's awesome,
Thank you 🙏
You all are good people down there in the Tennessee hills. I've been watching Sleeperdude and his awesome family and their adventures for over a year now. It's great entertainment because they do a lot of the things I did growing up, and each one of them has a special personality, and they have a lot of fun. I'll keep an eye on this channel for things coming up. I'm always interested in picking up tips about working on different kinds of cars/trucks/etc. Good Luck to you!
That van is really cool. I really like it alot. I subscribed.
Check out our Community Tab I plan on picking up another Cool 😎 Old Van This Friday!
Good video, Sleeperdude & VGG are my favorite channels, since i've been watching them a number of years, i've always like the Greenbriers but like you said they only made them 5 yrs, surprised you found one.
Growing up we never had a winch, but you could always find a comealong or two! Somehow I have reached the end of my 60's and have no winch and no comealong. Dang.
Liked and subscribed. Hi from New Zealand
Thank you 🙏
It'll go good with his Econoline pickup. Love those old mid motor unibody trucks
Great channel, i really respect you for the way you described how respect should be done. You sound like a straight up honest guy and that's why I subscribed and will be watching 👀...
Thanks...
I had a 1st generation Chevrolet Chevy Van 90. I always called a van like yours a Corvair van rather than a Chevrolet van. I hardly ever see Corvairs on the road anymore. It will be cool to see what Sleeper Dude does with your van.
Nice video, and big respect to you for pointing out to people that other youtubers are real people with real lives too, josh and his family make so many people happy with their @Sleeperdude stuff they do, it would be a shame if a few idiots spoilt it, so respect to you @Hillbilly Fab Shop
Great Job loved the van.Im an avid Sleeperdude fan and I'm looking forward to seeing some of your videos as well.
Y'all got ya hickerbilly on point!
Gitty up southern inginnewitty
Strangers showing up at their home might be why he started his 3rd channel. 🤔
CHEERS!
Possibly
Love me some Sleeprdude family. I'll check ya out. Subscribed
I was sitting here on my couch doing my best to help you push it up on the trailer but I guess it wasn't enough. 🤣
Same here. I think we were all putting our backs into it.
You could've put a block behind the back wheels and backed up the Dolly to get the van on. I find that works pretty good most of the time with tow dollies. :)
Good afternoon, your channel just showed up on my RUclips page. I just got watching Sleeperdude channel. I sure hope to see this corvair van on their channel soon. I met them last year at their Church's car show in June.
Thank you for checking us out. I have no idea when he will get to that van but I can’t wait to see what he’s able to do with it.
What are the pins on the ramp they looks like if you pull them you can slide them in or out
Hey hillbilly I ran across your video and I had to watch!!! I definitely love your channel for sure and I definitely subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing plenty more videos!!! Awesome video for sure buddy!!!!
If you pull the pins on the ramp plates, you can push the plates up into the hauler. That way, they only stick out a couple of inches, instead of a foot or more.
I just subscribed to your channel, because I'm a fan of sleeper dude,
Nice job cool van.Nice show 😄👍👍👏👏👏
It seems you may have picked up a few new subscribers from this video(me included). Good luck and I'll be waiting to see your next Post.🙂
Your respect full glad of it
That was a really cool van. I dislike U-Haul for my own reasons, but its more of the same stuff. We had a truck that we reserved, they rented it out. I was pretty angry since I had to get things done in a time crunch. We made a complaint. Shocked and surprised, we did get a call from a representative us a few hours later, saying we could rent the next size up, but no discounts for their flub. I had already got another truck cheaper from another company. Not to discredit them totally, most of the time its been ok. Just a note for them, Be Better.
I subscribed to your channels, you are just starting out, and you could use more subs. They all start somewhere. Here is to more cool videos.
Trailers on FB marketplace can be a good deal, a cheap Chinese winch and your in business. Here in Texas anything on the dolly has to have plates & registration. It's not always enforced but... That's a good looking old van..a come along would have worked nicely. Or block the back wheels & back up..there are lots of ways to load a trailer.
Thank you for watching. Was a cool van and I plan on picking up a 1967 GMC Van this Friday. Check out my Channel Update video I just put out!
one or two more ratchet straps would probably got the tires over the hump. good video. i ratched strapped a dodge one ton dually and a trailer full of duece and a half huge army tires that was stuck, used a fence post across the road
also if you rehook the strap lower on the frame instead of the bumper it would help lift over the bump, just trying to help
You should have put some blocks behind the back tires and just back up to get it the rest of the way on the trailer ! It works sometimes ..
I have a new video out explaining why I had to do it the way I did.
Love your channel!!! Thanks!!!
Thank you for watching!
Hey bro. I'm your neighbor over here in Kingsport Tennessee 😊
We just come through that same area on the way back from pigeon forge.
Block the wheels and push the trailer backwards. That might work. This is a cool van with that patina. Add an LS engine or something straight 6.
Sounds like a good hustle keep doing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎
Came here from sleeperdude. We are a channel from Ontario Canada. We subscribed. Keep the content comin.
Thank you. I also subscribed to you as well. We got some upcoming Projects.
A come-a-long is you best friend, loading onto these dollies.
I broke my come alongs awhile back haven’t got another yet
great job brother
Like your comments !
SleeperDude88 loves pile'in his whole family into every racer he owns 😂 that van is perfect for him.
Just ran across your video. Enjoyed it for the raw content.
As far as how you towed with the dolley instead of trailer. Another youtuber ( pfs ) would say. Can't be wrong if it works
You experience with UHaul is very typical they do this to reservation holders all of the time. Just one of the many reasons I gave up my dealership
You put a big block behind the rear tire of the van and back the dolly under the van its a whole lot easier.
I commented on one of Joshs' videos that if the yard isn't tore up then they aren't having fun.
I almost got stuck and gassed it out of there 😂
Josh gave me a heart for that comment too. It was on his snow video when he was pulling the kids around on the hood sled. And you are right, random strangers need to stay away. Uh he does have a 3rd channel sleeperdudearmed.@@hillbillyfabshop1062
Great video..
Thank you 🙏
thats a cool rig there
There's a whole, huge Corvair graveyard including trucks in Pennsylvania.
Uhaul should have shown you how the dolly worked before turning you loose with it.
Well for one you pull the pins to out them in further that’s as far as they went in they was to long for the trailer. 2 they was bolted in you couldn’t slide them all the way out.
3 it drove fine all the way to the destination
New sub...im enjoying your channel 😊
Thank you 🙏
New sub here watching from Rhode Island..
Thanks for watching man.
I think the quality of U-haul has a lot to do with the local franchise management. Some of what happens probably isn't U-haul corporate approved.
Go ahead and subscribe. If you decide later that you don’t like it, you can always unsubscribe.
If I had to drive that far with the 4-ways on the entire way, I'd go mad.
My wife almost did 😂 couldn’t go over 60 or it would get a bit wild.
Might be easier to chock the back wheels of the van and back the dolly under with the truck. Maybe need some timber under the back of the ramps to stop them digging in to the ground.
My first time using a car dolly thank you for the advice May try that next time
👍🇦🇷
Next time you are loading a non runing car on a dolly, use a come along to pull the car onto the dolly.
Thankyou Mate
you know you can pull those ramps out and slide them back in
its the way i was yelling at you to just back the ranger up next to the ford f250 then pull it up with a strap instead of being hard on your backs work smarter not harder cant wait to see sleeperdude do something with this these things are kinda neat ive seen a few of these things now
That ol Ranger is down for the count currently. I got to replace a transmission line.
@@hillbillyfabshop1062 thats rather unfortanate but i think you get the point have a good one
Josh mentioned he had a car coming, guess this is it!
Hello those ramps Slide in if you pulled the handle and pushed them back in
Matts Offroad is a big corvair guy.
I have a bunch of Corvair stuff
Next time block both back wheels of the van, lock the dolly so I can't turn and just back the dolly under the van !!!! Will save your back & time
to get that van on that dolly I would have scotched the back tires and backed the truck and trailer up under it.
this looks like a Family Project that the wholw family Can Ebjoy How about a Scooby Doo Mystery Van Job
Sleeper dude is cool
You could have simply put bricks behind the rear wheels of the Corvair and then backed the pickup and trailer up and presto, the Corvair is on the trailer.
Get that man a come along!😅
Put a long wrench on the passenger front wheel and turn it.
Are the back parts of those ramps not removable? Way too low for my comfort - not sure about winching them to the car body.
They never scraped after we strapped them like we did. We tried to remove them but they was bolted inside and we just didn’t have the time to mess around with unbolting them.
He should have had a drop hitch on the truck, it would have fixed the ramp issue.
Next time chock the fronts of tow dolly's tires, unhitch the truck, then tow the van up on the tow dolly using your truck and a strap.
These bolts/pins, with the circular heads, on the sides of the upper ramps are spring loaded captive pins that are supposed to pull out (against the spring pressure) so you can slide the lower parts of the ramps up into the upper parts.
Ah an old “untrustey” Greenbriar Van.
Its crazy people show up at peoples property. I dont even like people coming to my house when they tell me they are coming by 😂
Me Either. Lol
