I've record some videos, but I can't play them using VLC (or any other player) is I've installed a codec from newTek site but it didn't help. How can I play it?
This. On my Windows 10 system ffmpeg just says "moov atom not found", which explains why it doesn't work with VLC and pretty much every other program either. Got the SpeedHQ codecs installed (if it even is recorded to SpeedHQ format, nobody knows). What's the point in recording a file that cannot be played or opened anywhere? And why would someone create a 5 minute video showing how to create a file without giving even the slightest hint what can be done with that file then?
@@KevinBeckman Have you tried converting the file using ffmpeg using the command line? If so, did you get the error “moov atom not found”? I’m talking to their support and it’d be great to know if it isn’t just me getting this message.
A question... When I enable VLC player to output as NDI and I open the NDI Studio monitor, I can see the VLC source of NDI, but the studio monitor does not display the video? I am trying this on the same laptop. what is the reason that I cant see the video played by VLC on the Studio Monitor??
Nothing plays these files. Why are they mov files? Can’t there be an option to record in a different format? These files are basically useless to anyone.
NDI 4 and Frame Sync : One huge advantage of NDI 4 capture is that all files recorded on a local system use its internal clock to provide frame sync. This means that you can capture multiple sources, even starting their recorders at different intervals, and easily sync them up for post-production using their embedded timecode. Better still, since the system clocks of multiple systems in different locations can easily be slaved to an online NTP (Network Time Protocol) server, numerous NDI recordings can matched up with precision in non-linear editing systems for multi-cam workflows - even when these are captured at different venues!
I record the ndi input, but the codec strech the time of capture to the half. I cant see any options to correct this! Someone have the same problem? Or solution. Thanks
@@NewTekInc I use ISOCorder, i have tested from one PC with Scan converter or resolume NDI output, And NDI ISOCorder other PC, And I do the same tes with Only one PC with resolume Output to NDI and the ISOCORDER and have the same Issue

@@yorvex Having the same issue, my Mac has all the codecs for .mov files, and cannot open this file.
@@KevinBeckman So glad I am not the only one dealing with this. It is frustrating beyond belief and no amount of Google-fu will find any solution.
@@cotboy Yeah, not a reliable way to record NDI sources at the moment, unfortunately...

the record file is so huge... how can I record in .mp4 file format, instead of .mov, which appears to take up all the space in my disk drives...
Yes I don't like the apple format of .mov; are there any settings that allow you to record in other formats?
Good question from Pierre Alvarenge: The audio is unfortunately not recording. Will that be possible soon, Newtek team?

is there a way to sync the recordings from multiple cameras ie. simultaneously start the recordings

I have not heard this issue before. What software are you using where you experience this issue?
