    Small tips like the distance for the air con are gold for me in this episode. Saves soooo much time in post prod. Thank you.

    I would like to see more videos on the business side of things. All your vids have great production value but aren't really teaching anything that hundreds of others channels haven't covered from a technical stand point. I think Marcus Rideout is the only dedicated channel to this and he is trying to sell you a course half the time(not throwing shade, he has actually been really helpful). I am more interested in the knowledge of how Kai became the Kai who flies to other countries to film project rather than Kai who teaches me how to use the rule of thirds.

      Hi JuanTheBone, thanks for taking the time to comment on the channel! I always ask the audience what they want to see more of and this certainly has helped answer the question. A part of the KaiCreative story can be found on my animated CV. But I think a more in depth narrative from Kai Technical engineer to Kai Filmmaker who flies around the world to film corporate projects should definitely be put together! In terms of business dealings, what in particular do you want to know more about?

      Thanks Gary. It's been a while since we've done some BTS vlogging on our projects... but it might be a while till we get to do it again ): hope you are staying safe!

    I put my gear on the floor for the same reason. Aslong as it's somewhere I know people won't step on it or make it visible enough.

    Great video. Question, you are not micing the interviewee? Just using the Rode Mic on camera gets the audio you need, and is clear?

    • @KaiCreative
      @KaiCreative  4 года назад +1

      Thanks Beth! We are actually mic up the interviewee with a H1 Zoom and lapel mic and sound sync in post, we never just rely on the camera audio - hope it helps (:

      @@KaiCreative Ah yes Im a one lady band so I have been trying to reduce post editing time. I found a nice boom that connects directly, but I also capture a second audio just in case I forget to turn on the mic. THANKS!

      Hey Sachin, thanks for watching, we use Aputure Amaran panel LED video light, realised this was something that we neglected to mention! Thanks!!
